1061  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase the next Mt Gox? on: June 12, 2017, 05:41:18 AM
I have only been using Coinbase for a couple months now but am yet to run into any problems. I think many of the issues people are having have to do with them breaching the Terms of Service contracts.

Using coinbase from the start and never had any problem with it. As someone else said, it depends on which country you are in. Recently they started charging fees for transactions and many of the people complained about it. I hope they wont scam us in the future.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will people start moving their savings to Bitcoin in case of a financial crash? on: June 12, 2017, 04:23:56 AM
Found this.. is it all fud? "Legendary investor Jim Rogers predicts a market crash in the next few years, one that he says will rival anything he has seen in his lifetime."

Secondly, I think its already happening, whenever we see some crisis in any part of the world, the price of BTC increases. I always felt that its the people who are trying to put in their savings.
1063  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Don't send Bitcoins to your Skrill Account on: June 11, 2017, 06:05:02 PM
Sometimes I feel that they are jealous of the success which BTC got in the recent years, Most of the people were using Neteller, Skrill or Paypal before BTC. Now almost everyone tries to use BTC rather than them so they all just try to block BTC transactions as far as possible.
They charge high fees to customers and blocks without reason many of the times. BTC is so much better than all of them combined.
1064  Economy / Gambling / Re: Who won the biggest amount of btc on satoshimines.com? on: June 11, 2017, 05:52:27 PM
I play on diggit.io but this guy won 3 BTC on satoshimines.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=902014.msg9946576#msg9946576

Lucky guy. But I made 7 btc in 7 days only. But sadly I lost them. Its my bad luck.

OMG..!!! it's really hard to believe that you get 7 btc in 7 days and you lost it Sad.  i never win biggest amount yet but i hope it will be one day. Smiley

You should see the date before quoting the posts, it was in 2015 and BTC was not having this much value at that time. There are many people who have won hundreds of BTC's in the early days, Faucets used to giveaway BTC's and lots of them.
I never won on minesweeper so never tried Satoshimine, I think very few people have won big there.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 04:48:32 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?
Yes bitcoin is a good investment  to make your money grow but had risk also. But holding it for long term will be a good investment mostly now that the price continue to skyrocket. But I will not put all my money In btc only trading altcoin is much profitable for me .

Although I agree with the fact that it may skyrocket in upcoming days and have a great value as an investment but I dont agree with investing everything into BTC is a good idea. its volatile and always risky, so I keep only my savings in BTC and it earns for itself with time.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give your child/ren a bright future! on: June 11, 2017, 04:17:28 PM
To all parents and soon to be parents out there,

Plan for your children or future children by saving Bitcoin for them. Buying them bit by bit would be a great investment for the future of your kids. I am saying that you must have a new wallet for your kids so that when they come at the right age, you can give them that wallet and imagine how bright their future will be. You can hold bitcoin for their education, life plans, or whatever you think of.

I believe that if you start storing bitcoin for them now, a bright future is ahead of them  Wink

This is a good idea. Children will be grateful for all valuable coins and other assets kept for them. Only you need to consider that over time something can lose value.

I dont think BTC will be there for only about 10 more years but keeping a hope for our future or our child's future is a good thing, so everyone should think about it. Not just BTC we can think of ETH or LTC too, they too have a great future.
1067  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries launching their own cryptocurrencies affect bitcoin? on: June 11, 2017, 01:38:38 PM
A couple of countries have launched their own cryptocurrencies and some are planning to do so. The governments know that bitcoins can't be completely centralized and hence creating their own fully centralized version of cryptocurrency. Legalising bitcoin and making it a part of a country's financial structure is in no doubt beneficial for bitcoins growth, but instead using blockchain technology to roll out their own digital currency and ultimately banning bitcoins, would it affect bitcoins progress? What do you think?

Countries with their own cryptocurrency, Ecuador, China, Singapore just tested digital dollar via Ethereum blockchain, Palestine is planning to launch their own currency and and a few countries are studying the blockchain technology closely.

IMO, governments legalising bitcoins is the best way to achieve mass recognition. On the other hand, if more countries launch their own digital currencies and proclaim bitcoin as illegal then that would definitely halt bitcoins growth, but only temporarily. Banning internet is altogether on a different level than banning bitcoins. So the growth would be halted, but the internet money would bounce back.

Streisand effect.

Quote
The Streisand effect is the phenomenon whereby an attempt to hide, remove, or censor a piece of information has the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, usually facilitated by the Internet.

I think that this has a very serious impact on bitcoin, all news related to the bitcoin market have a direct impact and its value on the market. Specific examples have been made recently, as some countries have reportedly accepted bitcoins, which in turn boosted the demand for bitcoin in the population, and the value of bitcoin increased dramatically. .

No government like the decentralization feature of BTC because surveillance is one of the things which countries have to keep. They need to understand the blockchain technology and can monitor local exchanges but they want total surveillance. It will affect positively as well as negatively on crypto currencies.
1068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETC going to 100$ ? on: June 11, 2017, 05:24:11 AM
I'm buying ETC everyday (small amounts) whatever the price is (holding for long term)
i've done the same with ETH buying from 8$  and sold around 85 $ = X10 profits
I'm pretty sure that ETC will be around 100$ - 180$ , what do you think guys ?

Yes, ETC is constantly growing and hope it too will reach a high price in the coming days. From 3 months am following this coin and its looking positive to grow more and more. The community is behind it and we need some strong altcoins right now.

1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: June 10, 2017, 06:22:41 PM
Online gambling at casino is been preferred by most of us as none get to know our identity and we can stake as much as we want. Gambling should be done for fun and to kill your time. Otherwise if you are addicted to it then i don't recommend it at all.

Those of us who have played in real casino's will surely tell you that playing in real is allot more fun than playing on a website. Sure, I agree that anonymity is a thing with online gambling but gameplay and excitement is more in gambling physically. Greediness and emotions is what you have to control while gambling in casino.
1071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: June 10, 2017, 05:29:09 PM
Seeing the tech giant countries as well as big companies trying to adopt BTC in their system, we can say that BTC definitely has a great future.
Holding your BTC and trading them now and then will be a good thing to do right now.

1073  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: btcclicks.com gone scam (deleted my acc with 2000 ref) on: June 09, 2017, 06:20:48 PM
still
no respond from support till now

 Smiley

I think there was someone here in this forum from Btcclicks, or it was someone from here who used to post about them??
Personally, I dont feel its worth it to try to earn in PTC sites. They take too much time for too less money.
1074  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino Fraud reported on: June 09, 2017, 04:57:14 PM
I had received a message regarding a fraud email / promotion that bitcasino.io is sending, I will make followup on these before make my self judgement if they become a scammers.

I dont know why, but am seeing allot of ambiguous threads in the forum by newbies or members these days. No one can decide anything about what the email was or who sent it exactly, whether it was a promotion or a fraud email by Bitcasino or any other sites.
We need full information about it to even accuse someone.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CREAMcoin • by CREAMteam • Crowdsale ends 30.06 on: June 09, 2017, 04:42:28 PM
The price is too low for Twitter campaigns, are you thinking of reconsidering it??
Looks like a normal ICO for me, nothing special. I guess you are a little late to open a thread in this forum. Will be keeping an eye on it and will think about investing in it.
1076  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: i need wallet on: June 09, 2017, 04:13:11 PM
coinbase doesn't allow me in my country;

i tried bit-x but there is require more something, just i want set ID and not photo and et.c

You can use Kraken, Bitstamp, Spectrocoin, BonPay as mentionned, LocalBitcoin, paxful, bitcoin.de, Bitpanda. There are many on the place
For sure Kraken will not ask you your photo but you will need to provide, your name, phone number, and of course bank details to receive a bank a transfer, you can use Euros and dollars there, you get the money in your bank within 1 day only.

I think the OP has misunderstood the anonymity feature of BTC. The transactions may be anonymous but converting BTC to your local fiat is not. Almost all of the exchanges need ID and Bank details, even if you provide your card details then they will be storing that, so its nothing wrong to provide your ID.
1077  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Loosing massive amount bitcoin on purpose... on: June 09, 2017, 04:02:56 PM
What if a multi-billionaire organisation were to buy a large amount of bitcoin (for example 30%) only to destroy the private key associated to the wallet and brag about it all over the internet ?

First, would it be possible to prove the loss of the private key ? no
Second, How the market would react ?

If that will happen I expect the price to double or even bitcoin became known all over the world. 30% of bitcoin values is not much for only him or her to control the price or destroy the private keys of others wallet. I wish such things happen.

Forget about others, If you have that much money then will you do the same thing?? Will you even think about doing something like that with your hard earned money?? or are you thinking of investing it in BTC and other altcoins??
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of ETH , DASH , DOGE , LTC ? on: June 08, 2017, 02:20:43 PM
As almost everyone suggested here, ETH is the best option in your given list. The price is gradually increasing and hoping to reach high similar to BTC as lots of people adopting it recently because of the delay in the transaction confirmations. So I would buy ETH if I had money, suggesting you the same.
1079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin transaction is fastest? on: June 07, 2017, 04:41:59 PM
As far as I have transacted, ETH is the fastest one in the top coins list. I even heard that Vladimir Putin is interested in ETH and thinking about adopting it.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/suddenly-vladimir-putin-meets-vitalik-buterin-endorses-ethereum

I think other leaders also will show interest in crypto currencies after this.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 07, 2017, 03:57:54 PM
On NVO website we can see number of invested cryptocurrencies: BTC, LTC, ETH, ETC, DOGE, DASH.

Is there a way to see total number of all invested money, preferably in the form of USD, without having to count every single one of them?

I simply would like to have clear, fast overview.

Ripple and Maid are the other crypto currencies which will be there as said by Lauda Sir, I feel the total should be there on the index page so that everyone knows how much others are interested in this venture. The value should be in BTC as won't be having USD at the start.
