261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - PROOF OF STAKE - ZEROCOIN on: December 15, 2019, 04:06:45 PM
Judging by the price just continuing to drop, its like -5%

I mean not taking into account price fluctuations. Just how much more PIVX I will have in my wallet after a certain period of time.
With the wallet open 24/7 my wallet stakes about 7.5-8%
Salute

Thanks,  mate. Not so bad, actually. I was expecting even lower ROI

Which is the best wallet for staking and how much Pivx is suggested to get some stable return.?
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 15, 2019, 03:16:28 PM
I hope the OP doesnt see this thread right now because he had written this in 2013. Roll Eyes

I think its different from person to person and on reason basis as there are some people who dont wanna sell their btc even when it reached 20k$ and some spouse may jump into the media hype and pressurize the partner to sell.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being held down by CME, BAKKT? on: December 14, 2019, 05:49:47 PM
Both of them may be powerful organization but they dont have a volume to back it up. They may start accumulating bitcoin but at the end of the day its common people who need to sell their BTC to them. Why people are selling at this dumped price..? If they have good volume and trying to manipulate the price then we can say that Bitcoin is getting held down.
264  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: December 14, 2019, 05:36:25 PM
Some of the advantages of crypto is used by scammers around the world in order to scam innocent people. We have already heard about the ransomware asking money with only BTC, even MLM creators are using BTC to scam people so that they cannot trace. Newbie traders, who wanted to get into the crypto wave and make some money will be scammed and get stuck with no money. Recently I came across a scam with Pyramid scheme structure, making referrals and earning with it.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: December 14, 2019, 03:48:04 PM
That is right. But expect that other projects, so many of them, will always try to snatch the spot from Ethereum. Have you read so many promotions of other projects with the lines like "Ethereum Killer" or "next Ethereum". Well, good luck to them but that will not happen. They need to keep up with the fast and regular updates that the team behind Ethereum is doing. Other projects are obviously lagging far behind and without a very active team as Ethereum's.
Give it a time because Ethereum platform has also a downside. Polymath discussed it why most companies wont use it for their Security tokens.

The only reason at ETH is alive even in this moment is because there is no real competition to it. Waves was popular in its early days but they didnt grow with time. With POS update, we may see some movement with ETH and teams may start using ETH again.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: December 14, 2019, 03:16:35 PM
Your points are valuable and good for newbie traders but with all the fluctuation going on in the BTC chart, it will be hard to find projects and trade in the short term, because even when the project is good and potential, the market will fluctuate with BTC price dumping or pumping.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a better alternative to Bitcoin and why not use it? on: December 14, 2019, 02:42:48 PM
When someone think of cryptocurrency then only one thing comes to mind, that is Bitcoin. It was the first adopted currency and no alt can beat that.
Digibyte is not completely decentralized, everyone knows its owner and until they are there, its nowhere near to Bitcoin.
268  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CEX Vs DEX ? on: December 13, 2019, 05:27:36 PM
DEX are definitely better than CEX but the design and their running is very poor so people have always preferred CEX as they give proper support as well as great User interface. There are only few DEXs are there which are genuine and at least can be used properly.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy on: December 13, 2019, 05:11:23 PM
Can we really see a future with Waves when there is no project who wants to build their economy based on Waves blockchain..? Of course Sasha is old player and he knows what might be profitable but the competition is too harsh right now for Waves to sustain.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: December 13, 2019, 04:43:15 PM
This isn't happening only with South Africa. There'll be politics in each and every country's cricket board. In countries like India there is politics, but they create reasons and give retirement ans at times keeps players on rest. From India we can see large number of players getting their names on teams like UAE, Malaysia, Singapore and so on. One such player of India making big records from another country is Muthiah Muralidaran.
The problem with India is the huge amount of population and it is not that easy to get into the team and majority of the players who play for UAE might not be migrating to UAE to play cricket initially but they will eventually play for the country if they are able to perform in club tournaments but i am not sure about the rest of the countries.

FYI Muttiah Muralitharan is born and brought up in Sri Lanka and you cannot call all these players moving out and if you are going to view as such then you will not find any players in any team as there is a lot of migration that happened in the last 200 years Tongue.

We have seen so many players from India playing for other countries, because in India cricket is the most popular sport and because of the population, they cant decide or take everyone into the team so good players migrate in the early and try to be an international player for some other country. This is not generally wrong, its just not every player get this opportunity.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: December 13, 2019, 03:25:53 PM
I dont think we can think of this scenario until mass adoption and it may take more than 2-3 decades to have that much of adoption. There are still countries where people doesnt have access to electricity and mobile networks or internet. So it will be harder for those people to adopt crypto.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 12, 2019, 05:54:58 PM
I would say "LUCK". To test my luck I gamble once in a while, its not fun for me to lose money so I cant do it much but once in a while when I see signals in real life, I try to gamble on it and won more times than losing. Gambling is really addictive and people fall for it head on heels if they win some at the early phase.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Believes Dogecoin “Will Go To The Moon” on: December 12, 2019, 05:52:29 PM
Have you read anything about Doge..? If you had done some research on it then you would know that it will never be a mainstream coin. In the world of crypto "purpose" is an important thing to have in order to grow. Doge was created to show the world that anything can get pumped in this market.
274  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: December 12, 2019, 05:29:18 PM
I think its really a stupid argument to wait for the time when Bitcoin gets accepted worldwide, you need to understand that if no one spends then how will you think of systems and test on it with common people. It will never be developed as a worldwide currency with your argument.
275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: December 12, 2019, 05:13:43 PM
The mining community may influence the market with its holdings but it doesnt mean that bitcoin is centralized. Common man can still buy/sell their bitcoin freely and hold it till they want. Bitcoin is truly decentralized and if more people get into it then more decentralization.
276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: December 12, 2019, 04:55:12 PM
I was a bounty hunter from the scratch and didnt have much money to invest and trade. After that I learnt basic trading from step by step, reading different articles, researching different projects and investing at the right time. It was not easy also not profitable all the time but it made a craze in trying different things and learning more and more.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking vs. mining altcoins on: December 11, 2019, 05:00:21 PM
Have you tried mining any coin these days..? Its not that easy to make profit these days. Also, if you are trying to mine altcoins then the market fluctuations will make it worse. Staking is also hard as there are lots of things to consider and manage. But easier than mining a coin.
I also heard some opinions that mining is not suitable at a time like this because the results are not in accordance with expenditure and also time. so I think it's better to just trade on altcoin, but if it's profitable for mining so just continue
I need recommendation can some one give me which one altcoin potential for staking and have big chance keep stable price and get much profit after one month later staking, I have check with many altcoin but look not good price after one month later because almot of altcoin have lower price, for mining bitcoin maybe not good choose because little profit every month and waiting one year get money back if altcoin mining keep higher price.

Its hard to find a coin with all of the qualities which you have asked for and have 'stable price'. I am looking forward to the POS update of Ethereum as it is the number 2 coin in the crypto space and interesting to see the profits on it.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]🔷EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform🔷[PASSIVE INCOME]🔷🔷 on: December 11, 2019, 04:52:57 PM
I heard BET is going to swap from Binancechain to WAX. Why is this decision..? Where can I see some article or anything in written explaining the reasons to do this..?
279  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make big profits from exchanging bitcoin to altcoins on: December 11, 2019, 04:46:33 PM
Its stupidity to invest your bitcoin on the basis of someone's advice. Personally, I dont prefer alt trading right now because with this much fluctuation in the btc market, your alt bag will lose its potential in few days or may be few hours. Invest only with your own research.
280  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Crypto Exchanges Should Lower Their Fees and Profit Margins on: December 11, 2019, 04:37:37 PM
I would definitely support this thought as the exchanges are taking heavy fees on some coins in the name of 'Network fee'. There are lots of allegations that exchanges take heavy fee on listing also. Exchanges are the gateway for common people to start investing into crypto so they have to think about this.
