1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is about to take over Bitcoin on: June 21, 2017, 04:38:41 PM
i dont think eth over btc. though eth has been  going up and btc also.so to over btc eth need more pump.but one stable coin dont make a more pump so quickly i think
Yes it is true, if eth wants to take over Bitcoin then ETH must be pumped heavily.

The bubble is popped now and it almost blocked the ETH network. Am seeing this message on Coinbase:
Quote
Ethereum Transaction Delays
Ethereum transactions are on hold while we investigate an issue. Recent or new received and sent transactions may remain pending longer than expected.

Already down by 10% and who knows when it will stop.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2017, 02:20:22 PM
Probably we all share the same opinion, fees and confirmation time are bigest issues at the moment. But the problem is also that Bitcoin still isn't widely adopted as a payment method and I would also add reduced anonimity for users. But these things could be improved and Bitcoin needs to adjust.

I think the segwit integration will be a solution for most of our problems with BTC right now. An increase in Block size was really needed and it is a good decision in my opinion. I just hope people will understand the change and adopt BTC in life.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Live]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | Multi Wallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: June 20, 2017, 05:11:23 PM
How is the value of ICO deposits calculated? For instance if I buy 200 LTC worth today, will it go by USD value at the end of the crowdsale or at the time it is deposited?

I was thinking about the same thing and didnt got any answer regarding it. Will be joining the slack soon and will be discussing this. In the meantime, promoting NVO more on Twitter.
1024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Currently, Trading is the best waay to increase your bitcoin. on: June 20, 2017, 04:45:09 PM
It's the best way but it's really hard. I know my friends are losing like crazy in trading altcoins. They first argued that they would increase their bitcoins in trading. Then they started to lose too much.

Most newbies will lose money in trading before they start earning decently. That is if they study the basics of trading and not just guessing the direction of the trend. Trading is a good way to earn bitcoin if you have the discipline of a trader, if not, it is better to offer services or get a job.
Being an trading expert is not that easy. Every beginner to bitcoin and other cryptocurrency try to make a bigger earning thinking this to be the easiest way. In the run very few gets the luck to profit even without making a strategy. So little by little learning and getting into trade is the best way to profit for the newbies.

The toughest thing you get through trading is an experience. Until and unless you make mistakes and learn from them, you will never come to know about the difficulties. Yes, trading altcoin is profitable than trading in forex or other commodities, but you need to know a lot of details regarding that coin and its specifications. Its worth trading them because you can get more than 200x profit in short time.
1025  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Transacting in Litecoin or Etherium? on: June 20, 2017, 03:28:58 PM
Recently when the price of bitcoin went higher people have started to hold ethereum along with bitcoin. This has helped people to use ethereum for the transaction purpose due to the faster confirmation than bitcoin.

The problem with the delay in the transactions and higher fees are making people move on to altcoins, especially ETH and LTC. But most of them never reduced their BTC stash. Even ETH and LTC are growing gradually and there is a hype going around as hard fork is on the corner.
1026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: August 1 needs to be today... on: June 20, 2017, 02:30:19 PM
It's not good, it seems some people are switching to Litecoin for retail payments,

People will start pricing in LTCs drop when bitcoin gets segwit. LTC is just a test coin for what we can put on bitcoin, it works well for this.  Also great for moving money quick from exchanges.

I see very few people moving their funds to LTC or ETH or other crypto currencies because of this reason. Most of the known people bag holders are supporting both the sides and having strong feelings about it. I dont think it will effect much on the network.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Been to Macau? on: June 19, 2017, 04:40:53 PM
I haven't go to Macau i will plan to go if i have a lot of money and extra more money. I heard most of wealthy people go to gamble there and more casino is there and they have a biggest casino. If ever i will have lot of money i save i will planning go to Macau and i try to play in their casino so that i will experience the way they gamble and their environment as well and i will visit their places. I know Macau is very interesting place to visit gambling is serious there. Plenty of free things in Macau especially in casino they have much of gambling.
Macau and vegas only for those people who have a lot of time and money to spend , yeaaa a high roller.
A small player can only to keep dreaming flight there.
Also for me personally really afraid to come to a real casino , i afraid to lose control , lost money in a far away place like macau or vegas , a lot of consequences.

Controlling your emotions is near to impossible thing if you are too much addicted to gambling in real life. First of all its not that easy to fly to Macau or Las Vegas and gamble, you need to have a lot of money and time. Only the upper-class people can take this kind of holiday nowadays. So I guess its better to gamble online.
1028  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Give me advice pls! (Online shop) on: June 19, 2017, 03:44:36 PM
Hi there,

I want to launch my own online shop which will accept bitcoin as payment but I can't decide what to sell   Smiley

Please post here what would you buy for bitcoins? Watches, video games, food ?

Thanks!

I would agree with the digital goods. Most people who uses bitcoin are virtual so the market wont be a problem. Aside from that, it would free you from all the shipping hassles. The world is fast evolving and almost everything is in and via computers so i believe it would be a great idea.

If I were you then I too would have sold some digital goods, I see there is a lot of potential in digital goods section if you have some methods are good sellers in your contact. As Boov said, in digital goods, there will be no problems of delivery issues or packing issues or return issues, so frauds will be less comparably.
1029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: June 19, 2017, 03:16:31 PM
I believe it is actually possible by trading altcoins as you can see that there are lots of altcoins every day which shoots up to sky and falls down the next day or the other day. You need to know all the details regarding the altcoin and its market value. It is not easy and will take allot of time to achieve but possible.

Happy to advertise about a going to be a successful venture in the near future, When I was introducing Nvo to my friends, one of the random question which arose was having an app in Android as well as in iOs. Whether there is a plan regarding this and a mobile wallet with it??
1031  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet on WWE on: June 18, 2017, 05:48:40 PM
I don't get why people should bet on wrestling since everybody knows is a "fake" match.. I mean WWE is sports entertainment. But I used to watch WWE some years ago, maybe now is different?

Its all the same these days too. Sometimes match results are very predictable that's why match prediction odds keep on changing.

And that helps the company to win over bets like it happened today in Cricket. Everyone thought India is going to win but India lost miserably. It was predicted as more than 300Mil$ bets was placed on this match and most of them lost. Similarly, the gambling sites will take advantage of the obvious predictions and win. I feel its foolishness to bet on WWE.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Invest Into DOGE? on: June 18, 2017, 05:39:16 PM
My question would be why it's not even worth $0.01 in the first place…
It's because of huge supply of coins it's couple of billion of coins so it won't making that growth there is lots of sites giving dogecoin as a tips just visiting their sites

That is the main reason why Dogecoin is not having any growth, people are adopting and buying it because of its price but the circulation of coins is too high to grow. If someone buys more than 20% of Dogecoin and hold them for long then we may see a little difference in the market.
1033  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: June 18, 2017, 05:33:20 PM
That's an awesome effort made by one of the user to list out all the shopping websites that accept bitcoin. This would help most of the users who have been expecting long time to spend their bitcoin for their regular needs. As a part recently saw an article where a couple was travelling around the globe just using bitcoin.

Yes, its a commendable work done by Jakjokasker here, letting us know most of the websites which accept BTC as a payment method, although I will never think of spending my crypto currencies to buy things but may be in future people will use it as money.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN DEMAND EXPLODE IN INDIA on: June 18, 2017, 04:29:28 PM
This is interesting. Quite an overwhelming demand truly but why the sudden rush? I see this kinda development causing great upsurge in the price of bitcoin. Maybe I am just the only one thinking this, but isn't this purchase rate alarming? Hope it is just an attempt to invest or probably there is something some of us do not know?

The price hasnt got less in India as far as my friends are telling, people thought the price is gonna fall and will be great opportunity to invest in BTC. Zebpay is using this situation for themselves, the price is around 2850$+ now and it holding that place from 2 days now.
1035  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a way to raise money through public fundraising for sick friend? on: June 17, 2017, 05:22:54 PM
It would be better if you start a fundraiser in Justgiving or gofundme rather than doing it here in Bitcointalk. There are lots of scammers doing this and literally scamming the good people of the society, if you can post solid proof of what you are saying then I guess you will definitely find many donors for your friend.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Putin & Trump Coin ! Scam? on: June 17, 2017, 04:45:34 PM
People are dumb actually, rather than naming coins on dictators or presidents, it will be better if name them on people who made the world a better place. Mother Teresa coin or Nelson Mandela Coin would have been better coin names IMO.
1037  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: June 17, 2017, 03:53:32 PM
I had an experience investing in the bankroll of betking and bitvest. Though there is a profit in long run, I couldn't help holding my coins on slow passive earning.
Withdrew all, lost some on bets and spent others.
Overall It's good if you can invest some and forget for some months to years.

It is like investing in Mutual funds, if you want to get high returns in a short time then it is of no use. You have to be patient and knowledgeable about everything in details. You have to invest little by little for a long time then you will yield maximum.
1038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Complete Garbage!!! on: June 17, 2017, 03:12:19 PM
First of all, Whatttt...?? I dont know what the author feels about the crypto currencies or BTC, IMO the topic should be "This article is complete garbage!!!" BTC has given financial stability and freedom to a huge population around the world, it will never be garbage.
1039  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc reached the bottom for this week , correction and retest 3,000 $ ? on: June 16, 2017, 04:56:11 PM
Maybe correction may be panic selling or who knows maybe because of the Hard fork. But it will reach back to 3000$ for sure, tomorrow or day after tomorrow but that will happen. Most of the local exchanges in many countries have not lowered the price.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (June 2017) on: June 16, 2017, 04:04:20 PM
I think Bitsler and crypto-games are fighting really hard for the place which got emptied by Directbet, although for me, they can never replace Directbet, they are quite successful in their features. My personal favorite is Nitrogensports as am more interested in sports betting.
