941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: July 12, 2017, 03:27:18 PM
What is the best and trusted wallet for lots of altcoins?

Just use the wallets created by the dev , these are the best.      And if you don't want to download so many wallets just use online wallets or trusted exchange sites.
We'd better not store coins in exchanges,do you still remember mtgox, mintpal ,cryptsy?

Agree with you.

Better stay away from the exchanges as much as possible.

It depends on the value of altcoins. I love jaxx but sometimes I feel the native wallet of those coins are better and you can stake your coins in them. But too many wallets are a problem for my PC so it all depends on the value of those coins. Some are in exchanges so that I can sell them as soon as they reach a price.
942  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more risky? Skill-based gambling or trading? on: July 11, 2017, 04:54:19 PM
There is nothing as skill based gambling. Trading somewhat can be considered a skill and if you have a patience, trading can be profitable in the long run.

There are skills in gambling, with all the pump and dump groups growing around, you will never know which coin will rise or which coin falls in the present situation. So I would be going towards the skill-based gambling for some games than trading altcoins.
943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium funny tshirt i found on the net! on: July 11, 2017, 04:35:44 PM

Is it your store.? If you are not selling them here then this is not the section to post it.

The other two designs are funnier though.  Grin Would like to know more if you are selling them.
944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DDF - Digital Developers Fund: Profit From Digital Assets on: July 11, 2017, 03:26:25 PM
WARNING: There are scammers out there! The only legit website is the one mentioned in ANN: https://www.digitaldevelopersfund.com

Damn these scammers are everywhere. Good thing that you are aware that these scammers are taking advantage of DDF's good road map.

Be careful guys and just always check this legit thread of Digita Developers Fund. Don't be fooled by those lazy fads.

It became a trend these days, follow a future successful venture copy it from top to bottom and make a fake account on everything. The social media is the place for them to advertise their scam and rob poor or good people. Users also have to be careful about this and double check before investing.
945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite altcoin July 2017 and why on: July 11, 2017, 03:20:27 PM
Definitely Byteball. Sold all my Byteball before the distribution at around 0.33BTC, dont wanted those BlackByteBalls so. Claimed Byteball for all of my BTC and now eagerly waiting for everyone to do the stupid dumping, which is happening already. Will buy again when it hits rock bottom.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alts fall, Bitcoin falls ... where is the money going? on: July 11, 2017, 03:10:36 PM
Does anyone trust BTC here?? I see lots of people panicking most of the time even when there is a small dump on the price of BTC. I can agree that people are unsure about Segwit right now and selling. Some of the altcoins are recovering right now and hopefully, we will see some upwards fashion now in the market.
947  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins are all down, so how do traders make their earnings? on: July 11, 2017, 02:54:25 PM
Hold it till August altcoin will rise again. If you sell now you will be in loss. so wait few more weeks you can make profit

The altcoins are already rising back. Slowly and steadily but BTC is also stopped its drop as people who were waiting for its drop started buying as per my assumption. There were some altcoins which were on the negative side but now the tide is shifting and we can see many altcoins turning green.
948  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: About to invest ~120$ in...? on: July 10, 2017, 06:04:08 PM
Sorry to break your heart but 120$ is too low to invest in some altcoin. Better to analyze the market and search for an ICO which may have a great value in the future. It is risky but will yield the most if you have bought the right one. I have invested the same when the prices were low, anyway try your luck.
949  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What will happen after SEGWIT? on: July 10, 2017, 05:42:06 PM
Definitely go down, maybe not right after the segment. Why do I think so? Open the weekly chart and realize that for very large growth we need a very large drop.

There will be definitely a drop but after the Segwit it will get back and shoot to the moon. More than 80% is in support of Segwit so I guess the community is behind the decision and it will be successful. Hopefully, it will solve the problems which we are facing right now and that will bring more people into crypto world.
950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Byteball Price blew my mind!! Guess how Much? on: July 10, 2017, 03:40:31 PM
$634 (Six hundred and Thirty Four dollars). Found that while going through  Altcoin list on coinmarketcap.com

Wonder what the coin is about. I thought Ethereum was next to Bitcoin in Price.
Or is it a glitch?

Its 597$ right now in coinmarketcap so be prepared to go down still. It was expected as recently there was a distribution of Byteball based on the size of your BTC wallet. Its a good way to distribute Byteball but people trying to take advantage of it and selling them as soon as they got them.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: July 10, 2017, 03:07:47 PM
I think there will be a major change after segwit integration on August 1st and till then it will be on the downside of the graph. The rates are getting too low as we are near to the deadline and will shoot to the moon again after the segwit. This is the thought everyone is having right now.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you buy Bitcoin now with hard cash? on: July 09, 2017, 04:08:00 PM
Yes, definitely. If I had any money I would have definitely bought BTC right now. Unfortunately, I dont have that many savings in real so not able to. Thats why saving what I am earning. I have introduced BTC to many friends and they have invested hard cash weekly.
953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of users of all coins on: July 09, 2017, 11:44:28 AM
I just think about.. why I have to know how many people are using cryptocurrencies? Is that will give an impact to my wallet? I don't think so. The most important thing right now is just make cryptocurrencies more familiar to all people in the whole world. Start with asking your neighbors, if they still don't know about bitcoin, then you'll know how popular is cryptocurrencies.

That is in fact true. Rather finding the statistics about how many people are already in, we have to popularize and let others know about the features of crypto currencies. Dont forget that it will be beneficial to us at the end. Almost every altcoin trader is a bitcoin enthusiast at the beginning so everyone here is countable.

955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - OFFICIAL BOUNTY THREAD on: July 08, 2017, 03:35:40 PM
Been trying the Twitter and facebook bounty from a long time now and both are working with automatic tickers. I think the ICO will definitely be filled in 3-4 days maximum and will be a successful one. Just waiting for the ICO to start.
956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where would you invest $100? on: July 08, 2017, 03:10:08 PM
If you are a complete noob then dont invest even a cent based on anyone's suggestion here. Try to learn and understand the concept of altcoins and check which concept can make it to the future. Its based on that decision you have to invest. Most of the coins are pumped artificially right now so be aware of the environment. All the best.
957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 08, 2017, 02:38:45 PM
I feel altcoins as supporting factors to the BTC. People get into altcoins through BTC and I dont see anyone whose jumping into altcoins without knowing BTC. Of course, there were many before but right now altcoins are getting popularity but I dont think it will ever cross BTC.
958  Economy / Gambling / Re: *** CoinRoster Bitcoin Fantasy Sports *** 0.05 Bitcoins Freeplay on: July 08, 2017, 02:12:08 PM
We've created a fantasy sports site that uses bitcoins as currency.

https://www.coinroster.com/promo/BitcoinTalk

There is a fantasy golf game running each week, and we also have pools available for users to bet on the tournament winner and other topics. A unique feature of our tournament winner pools is the pool carries over if nobody bets on the winner, the amount in the pool rolls over to the next week and so the jackpot builds.

Use code "BitcoinTalk" when you signup to receive 0.05 btc of free play. You can't withdraw unless you play 20x the free play amount, so good luck!

We are new to this forum and we are also new to bitcoin fantasy sports, so we'd love to hear feedback on how we can improve. Try CoinRoster using the freeplay code BitcoinTalk and let us know what you think by replying to this thread.

Basic design with limited gameplay, but thanks to the 0.05 BTC of free play. May not reach the 20x of the free play amount its always fun to play in fantasy leagues.
Will try and post my experience here. Appreciate any suggestions on how to win them.  Cheesy
959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have 6.5 K USD. What should i invest in? Pow? Pos? Trading ? on: July 07, 2017, 04:38:43 PM
6.5k USD is a big amount and everyone here suggests with their own point of view. You have to understand them and make up your mind by your own research. There are only few ICO's which are dependable and can give you profit in long run. If you know the basic of trading then look for potential coins in Bittrex and invest in them. Never buy only one coin, scatter your investment and try to maximize it. Its better to go for medium risk than to lose everything at once.
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DDF - Digital Developers Fund: Profit From Digital Assets on: July 07, 2017, 03:34:49 PM
The bounty for social media is ambiguous. I am a supporter of DDF and promoting DDF on Twitter too but it could have been better if the social media bounties were kept as a campaign here on the forum through some managers here. DDF would have got much more exposure through them. Anyways, already promoting DDF on Twitter, will send my application to the mail provided with the necessary things.
