21  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you investing in crypto currency alone? on: June 14, 2021, 06:18:03 PM
The economy has taken a hit everywhere but investments are booming. Look at the stock market, it is not going down. People are using the stimulus package money and investing them rather than spending them. Still, I would say more people have suffered from financial problems and this pandemic just made it easier for rich people to get more rich.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Elon Musk manipulating the market? on: June 14, 2021, 04:54:28 PM
He is doing it again and the market is going bonkers. He is doing what any rich person will do to make more fortune for himself and people are falling for his tweets like he will create something great for them. At the end of the day, he will buy himself with all the profit he gained by manipulating us. The BTC price now claimed the $40k mark and fell below again. These manipulations have to stop, otherwise, the credibility of bitcoin will be ruined because of these people.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XPRT] Persistence | Ecosystem of Next-Gen Financial Products on: June 14, 2021, 03:19:43 PM
Started staking some XPRT and hopefully will reap the benefits. I had a query about the staking, being a Tendermint-based chain, is XPRT also have the 21 days lock-in period when we try to unbound from staking.? Also whether it will be applicable for other coins too which we will be staking on the platform.?
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: June 14, 2021, 01:07:15 PM
I came to know about crypto in 2013-14 but I had nothing to invest in and also had a burden of a student loan, I think after 6 months or so, I started working on many things online and started asking for payments in Bitcoin. It got me through many of my tough times and still is. I made most of my crypto from scratch and am really proud about it.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Public Sale at Sovryn] Babel Fish | Money Protocol on: June 14, 2021, 01:43:08 AM
On which blockchain will fish be built?
Will the project consider stable coin blockchain to determine coins to work with?
Will Babel fish share any of the member of the team of sovryn in this project?

Feel free to drop by on their discord channel and meet the team behind Babel fish. They are all there, talking and answering question from community members. https://discord.gg/6U2VWMQzxZ

Babel Fish Money Protocol Explainer Video

Another nice video by Xsinx. The animations are nice and appropriate usage of the images, but there are some spelling mistakes and some characters were out of the edge because of the animation. So keep an eye on that.

I am really pumped up for the token sale and also worried as I will be buying in the Public sale and hopefully, it will not get sold out before I get my turn.  Sad
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can DIVI hit $1 after wallet launch & T1 Listing? on: June 13, 2021, 11:52:25 PM
Congratulations to the Divi community for getting it listed on to Kucoin, but the price has been dropping steadily after the listing. I feel the price might reach 15-20 cents when the Android app comes out for everyone. Also, it will not be an easy task to pack all those features which they are promising into an app and without having bugs so I hope the team has tested the app thoroughly, and hopefully, there will not be any hiccups after the rollout.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not everyone can be lucky when it comes to shitcoins on: June 13, 2021, 06:07:27 PM
First of all, that's why they are called "Shit coins". There is no purpose for them. They are just created to scam innocent and greedy people. Even when the returns show more than 1000x, a normal crypto investor will think 10 times before investing their time and money into them. Only some people get lucky by investing into them and more than 90% will lose everything.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think Bitcoin is great as an asset and not as a Currency. on: June 13, 2021, 02:51:17 PM
I am seeing great news from India, although they have given notices to crypto exchanges in the Chinese scam applications, the Indian govt is also thinking about considering Bitcoin as an asset.

Its still in speculation mode but anything in the positive direction is appreciable.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CryptoXpress - Making crypto easy on: June 11, 2021, 03:03:55 PM
Just checked the website and the basic details of the project, I see you haven't logged back in a month. I have some basic questions if someone from the team could answer them.

What are the results of the private sale and Seed rounds..? Also, it's written on the site that there is an IDO upcoming. What are the plans for that..?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Public Sale at Sovryn] Babel Fish | Money Protocol on: June 10, 2021, 04:49:21 PM
Looks like there are only limited exchanges where to but rBTC. The only convenient way is to send BTC to the Sov app.

32,508,000 is 7.74% and 20,000,000 4.76% for the 2nd token sale. There is token allocation above but it didn't say what is these 40%, 20% or the 10% for, where do we see the whole allocated tokens for all like for the team, for the marketing and etc?

Its posted on the main ANN, its not easy to spot but its clearly explained in the graph, anyway here's the breakdown
40 Liquidity Mining
20% Team
10% Development Fund
10% Early Supporter

The rest is token sale, Ecosystem fund and Sovryn AMM

Babel Fish Short Introduction Video

Good job with the video... Upvoted..  Smiley

Like most of the community, I was also waiting for the BabelFish token sale for a long time now.
Hopefully, it will not be like one of those sales where everything gets sold on the first 10 seconds and everyone will get a chance to buy the fish.  Grin

32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum on the rise: Sell or HODL? on: May 12, 2021, 05:18:36 PM
Stake your ETH in any reputable AMM and Yield Farming platforms. Doing so would satisfy both your concerns of not missing out on the potential earnings and holding longer while waiting for the price to go higher. Make sure you choose the platform that would allow you to unstake at anytime.

Thanks for the tip. This seems to be my best bet to multiply my profits in terms of USD over the long term. I'd go with Uniswap's liquity pools and lending stablecoins at Compound.Finance anytime. They're certainly profitable, serving as a good passive income system. Things will get even better with ETH 2.0. It seems to me that you can make more money with Ethereum than you'll ever do with Bitcoin in the short term. Take a look at ETH and its tokens' price performance on the market to see for yourself. How high ETH will go will greatly depend on market demand. I'd be surprised if ETH goes all the way to $5k soon.

Nonetheless, selling or "hodling" coins is a decision you'll have to make as an investor. Whatever makes you feel good, I'd say go for it. I think I'll "hodl" a portion of my ETH while putting the rest on AMM and Yield Farming platforms. As long as the bull market persists, you can make a lot of money in a very short amount of time. Wink

The best plan is to convert your ETH to BETH on Binance or OkEx. Just hold BETH until the ETH 2.0, you will be getting daily interest from it and once ETH 2.0 comes, all your BETH will be converted to ETH at 1:1 ratio. BETH rates are down at this moment, so it might be the best time to hold them and gain more and more BETH until the update.

For short term traders EIP update should be the target, that will be the time when ETH reaches its peak value.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: May 13th, Bitcoin will surge to $70k or it will be dump? on: May 12, 2021, 05:03:53 PM
It doesn't look like BTC is going for the 70k$ price any time soon. It is barely holding the support at this moment and might not be able to hold if there is no volume for it. Also, we have seen the Facebook FUD, 2 weeks ago, so probably, Alibaba is also a similar FUD. This is not a good sign for crypto in general, these FUDs making the market uncertain and the impact of this will be on the small size traders.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH surge to $6K this week? on: May 12, 2021, 03:14:10 PM
By the looks of it, ETH is definitely going for 10k$ or more by the end of 2021. With EIP-1559, in the near future and most of the holders are turning their ETH to BETH and gaining rewards, we can say that the demand for ETH is too high right now. Most of the community is jumping from BTC to ETH or just buying more and more ETH because of the POS which is quite an advertisement for people outside the crypto community.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What have you bought with Bitcoin? on: May 12, 2021, 02:45:04 PM
That's a good way to make a PR from Bitcasino and Sportsbet. I have bought games and premium accounts through BTC and other alts in the past. It was really easy and I needed them for some work stuff. I didn't have a credit card so crypto came to my rescue and lots of my issues solved using it. Will be writing my story and posting it as am feeling lucky recently.  Smiley
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 12, 2021, 01:37:05 AM
It depends on your strategy and risk factor. If you are hungry to increase your portfolio then you have to take risks. It doesn't matter how much, you can start with just 5%, research on coins, and buy in small quantities. It is definitely riskier than how people think but it is necessary to increase your portfolio. If you don't want to take any risk then holding will be the best way for you. I have more than 70% of my portfolio in alts and 30% in BTC ETH and BNB.
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell your Bitcoins or die - Bitcoin to $5000 soon - Fiat is best alternative on: May 11, 2021, 06:30:26 PM
Sell your Bitcoins or die - Bitcoin to $5000 soon - Fiat is best alternative

Buy Fiat currency and sell bitcoins as bitcoin is hitting $5000 soon. Do not believe on news which claims that bitcoin will hit $1 million or $500K. crypto has no future. crypto is just a real scam. It is just a betting.

Shouting a person who himself created and branded a coin in the last bull run, slept for 3 years, came back from the dead, and directly telling everyone here to sell their BTC.

I just wonder how these people think..!! Who will listen to these trolls..!!
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 11, 2021, 06:12:35 PM
This is the main reason why no one is worried too much this time. We have seen so many investments and so many buyings from people outside crypto that the community knows now that those investors are here to stay and also looking for more dips. Especially the 52k$ mark is too much important as we have seen huge support and buying in that price range. BTC could go up to 40k$ max which has enormous support in my opinion.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XPRT] Persistence | Ecosystem of Next-Gen Financial Products on: May 11, 2021, 05:20:22 PM
I see more and more people joining the Telegram community in order to earn more XPRT.

https://twitter.com/PersistenceOne/status/1392148312552259590

StakeDrops for Polkadot, tezos and irisnetwork upcoming!

I think this will be a great opportunity for the community to earn some XPRT by staking their coins.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOT] Polkadot Speculation on: May 11, 2021, 02:28:33 PM
Even when Bitcoin is fluctuating, PolkaDot is holding its ground and not falling below its support. That means it has a solid support base and loyal holders and projects which are on the PolkaDot ecosystem. We cant compare it with ETH at this moment but who knows what developments are there for the platform and if some of the projects on it starts booming then Dot will boom automatically.
