I think the Mamm dev is just a guy trying to make a coin. He probably hasn't had the time to even understand XC.
He posted this on his forum.
Quote
After deleting 300 posts i do not know what is fud what is not sorry about it. Some fud comes with automation they even attacked there. the thread i opened https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736995.msg8336146#msg8336146 I am these days overly stressed, i am sorry if i break any heart, usually i am happy ... I can accept constructive criticism this name change issue is one if them,
He's probably just stressed out, but I'm in XC  for the long haul, or at least till something is clearly better. But even then I'll probably keep XC, and just buy that as well

I really do think that the SUPER AND MAMM devs are the same person...anyways SUPER and MAMM are both shit, there is a clear reason why XC has several millions more in marketcap then both coins combined ATM. Any coin where the Dev's themselves actively spread FUD about other competitor coins is terrible for business. I would never back any coin where the devs would do this. They will forever be shitcoins, so we don't have to worry.

Look at this bullshit:

I came here to see if I could find any really technical discussion about comparing the full algorithm of SUPER & XC.
I guess I was expecting a little too much. Tongue

I can clearly see the flow & algorithm of SUPER's multi-sig transaction here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=736705.msg8324932#msg8324932

But it seems I need to really dig deep & search to see anything like this for XC. (while still being not as detailed)
Out of the guys here badmouthing other coins, how many actually know XC's algorithm as much as the other coin?
I'm no dev currently but am technical & can read a little through the code.

It would be quite handy as a potential investor to at least know more about XC's implementation.
It would be great if someone can at least compare their algorithm to see which "may" be better. Smiley
BTW, I've never FUD ever in BCT. Hopefully you guys don't see it this way. I own some XC also!
(i must admit, I'm currently  more invested in Super right now though. I'm sure many know. =p)

Don't let "nightmare coin" get away with this....they're attempting to rip off SDC.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=740936.msg8376744#msg8376744

The coin community needs to be aware of this scam. Post more of this info than the scammer devs can delete. People will see that the alt community will not take this BULL SHIT any longer.

DEV is deleting posts that show NightmareCoin is a scam.
Strait up ripoff of shadowcoin...they only have stealth addresses because they forked shadowcoin....every fork of shadowcoin would have stealth addresses.
Dev even stole the diagram on how stealth addresses work.

**Update**
NightmareCoin Dev just deleted ^

Scam coins destroy alts...they suck development away from the good coins. This message needs to get out...I'm tired of scams taking money away from good coins. I am a large holder of XC and this message needs to get to other holders.

Community needs to regulate the scams or it will be end of all alts....good and bad. Spreading the word is how to regulate.

This brings me back to my last post... which was sort of lost in the general excitement.

With the community reaching the end of its patience for scam/p&d/clone coins popping up everyday, more and more people are turning to resources such as coinssource.com to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Unfortunately coinssource is a bit out of date with XC, so I sent them a message with a few updates.  This is what they currently say about XC, http://www.coinssource.com/crypto-coins/xc/

I think crypto is entering a new phase here where people want to buy to hold, and the resources they use for investing information need to start to support XC better...

For instance, the fact that we have price-wise outperformed mostly every other coin during this current BTC crash is something that people need to know about...

stop posting this crap. This has nothing to do with XC and by the looks of it, your a big SDC supporter so post this in that thread. There is also a thread in the ANN section regarding this coin with the exact same information your spamming here. If you're not going to talk about XC, then dont post.

XC team has got a busy day tomorrow dealing with that FUD topic on the main board and clearing all this spam on these last few pages.

This has everything to do with XC, BC, SDC and any other quality alt, complacency with these scam coins will only kill the good alts with the bad. This IS a problem for the quality alts, it takes money directly from them and scares off new investors from investing money into any altcoin.

so these guys can't help trying any ways to bring attention to their coins.

it is understandable, but please play in a nice and decent way.

Are you not understanding the issue here? Why do you think the volume is drying up in XC and all alts? The scam coins have ruined the market. Soon there will be no market...no liquidity...no currency. This is a market wide problem and it affects the quality alts the most. Complacency with this issue will be the "smart investor's" loss.

It's a short term problem, nothing to loose sleep over, people are way more investigative of new Alts these days, the free market is starting to regulate it's self.

I was just saying don't lose sleep over it mate, and people learn best by making mistakes first, try to tell someone something there ego takes over, it's when they relise what they thought was correct is not, that real change begins. soon there will only be a few crypto's left, and XC will be close to the top if not on top of that list, so relax brother.

Who knows, but when people skeptical of Crypto & BTC see it drop and recover it only reinforces the idea that Crypto currencies are not some fad and are here too stay it's a good thing in my opinion.

Markets are an eternal struggle between bears and bulls. For the past week or so the bears are ruling.
