381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 03, 2023, 06:18:46 PM
I'm also looking forward to it, but 2026 is secretly a bit far away. And the focus in most countries will surely be on the European Championship, which will be organized in Germany next year. Argentina and Brazil are the only non-European football countries that can compete with Europe. So if you have a European championship and you add Brazil and Argentina, you have a kind of world championship. Messi and Ronaldo are both pure fans of the game, I think they both just want to play as many final tournaments for their country as possible. Ronaldo is still in top shape, which means that he can play football a few years longer internationally than most other players of his age. And of course also because of his talent.

I agree with you. In fact, in my opinion, the EURO is an even better competition than the World Cup, with many more quality teams and with many more uncertain and interesting matches.
It is very difficult to become the champion of Europe, and this could be seen on the example of France, which was the world champion and is the current world runner-up, but they did not manage to win the trophy at the last 2 EUROs.
As for Ronaldo, he obviously still has a huge desire to play for the Portuguese national team and break new individual records, but the real question is how much he can really help the Portuguese national team today?
I think that right now Messi can help the Argentine national team more than Ronaldo can help the Portuguese national team.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 03, 2023, 06:10:32 PM
I wouldn't say that Chelsea's squad is weak. Their squad is quite strong. They have talented players like Aubameyang, Pulisic and Sterling in their attack. Aubameyang is a great player. We saw some excellent performances from Aubameyang with Barcelona. Also Pulisic and Sterling are very talented. Chelsea also has excellent players in the midfield like Enzo Fernandez and Kante. And the defense has experienced players like Thiago Silva and Koulibaly. Despite having so many talented players, Chelsea's performance was very poor.
Chelsea has sacked their coach. If their new coach is experienced, he will undoubtedly be able to strengthen the team. But the new coach also needs some time to build a friendly relationship with the team players. Real Madrid is also an experienced team. And they are in a very good rhythm. In such a situation, it is very unlikely that an unstable team like Chelsea will win against Madrid.
No one said Chelsea is a weak team, Chelsea is a big team but can't play as a solid team now.
However, if we compare Chelsea and Real Madrid, Real Madrid surely plays more solidly and has a better experience in UCL competition.

You can't expect Aubameyang to give a big contribution if he only sits on the bench. Lately, I rarely see Aubameyang played as the starter. Chelsea coach prefers to choose Felix, Sterling, or Haverts as the striker. Moreover, Aubameyang is no eligibility until June 29 in UCL. So, it is clear that he can't play in UCL against Real Madrid.

Chelsea was already in a big crisis this season in the Champions League, because after losing to Dinamo in the group stage, they were last in the group after the first 2 rounds. After that, the former coach Tuchel was fired, and the new coach Potter significantly improved Chelsea's game. Chelsea won all of their remaining group games and eventually finished first in the group. Therefore, the change of coach helped the club and saved the season in the Champions League.
Can history repeat itself with a new coach?
It is very difficult to predict how Chelsea will play against Real with a new coach, but Chelsea should not be underestimated. It is enough to remember the 2 meetings between Real and Chelsea last season in the Champions League.
383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 02, 2023, 01:24:07 PM
Sunday's transfer gossip:

Manchester City and Real Madrid have made RB Leipzig's 21-year-old Croatia defender Josko Gvardiol their top centre-back target, and the German side would want £75m. Croatian defender Guardiol is on his way to becoming the most expensive defender in football history. Where will they end up? England or Spain?
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has told former manager Mauricio Pochettino he does not want the Argentine to return to the club during talks over a potential return. What happened between the club and their former coach?
Argentina forward Lionel Messi, 35, will not take a pay cut to stay at Paris St-Germain.
Messi's options, should he choose to leave the French champions, include an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and a return to Barcelona. What will Messi decide in the end? There are rumors that he would most like to return to Barcelona, but can Barcelona pay him?
Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed Brazil want to appoint him as their coach, however he wants to stay at Real Madrid. How realistic is it that Ancelotti will remain the coach of Real if the club does not win any trophies this season? It seems to me that only winning the Champions League can save his job.

384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 02, 2023, 01:14:42 PM
Very few doubt Croatia's performance, if football fans saw them at the Qatar World Cup, Croatia even managed to finish third at that time, Croatia's draw against Wales is not a reference, because in fact they played very well and dominated the game. But like you said, Wales had a pretty solid defense and luck came to Wales in the 93rd minute and equalised.

Croatia's win over Turkiye took them to second place in Group D and we will also have to wait for June for the next match as there will be a long break. Several surprises occurred in the qualifying round this time, where Spain and the Netherlands got unsatisfactory results.
I have to correct you a bit, Croatia is in first place in the group because it has 1 goal better goal difference than Wales  Grin
In fact, it is not unexpected that Croatia always has problems in qualifying for major competitions, but they always safely and without problems qualify for every major football competition.
I actually think Croatia played better against Wales, in a game they didn't win, than against Turkey, when the goalkeeper saved them in the first 15 minutes of the game.
However, these are the characteristics of great teams, which win even when they are not playing at the highest level.
When you have a goalkeeper that good, that's basically becomes part of your teams plan as well, they have a great keeper that helped them a ton during world cup as well, if not for Martinez and the final game, I would have said Livakovic was the best goalkeeper of the whole tournament, so him saving shots on early game wasn't really that bad of a deal.

On the other hand, I would have to say that there is a good case to be made about Turkey being a better team than Wales as well, and yet Wales and Turkey games looked different, sometimes football doesn't really care about which team ranks where and looks how much better and all that, it's just wildly different when everyone is on the field.

Croatia has so many extraordinary players in the team that they win even if not all players play well, but only a few, like in the game against Turkey. In that match, Croatia won on the basis of the greater individual quality of its players and not on the basis of a much better game, and that is the characteristic of great national teams, that they win even when they do not play well.
Croatia has the necessary quality to be the first in the group without major problems, and I think that the Turkish team is still better than Wales and that in the end they will be second and qualify for the EURO.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 02, 2023, 01:08:18 PM
Messi can always change his opinion. It is also not excluded that the body eventually no longer wants and can no longer. But you can't say that yet. I wonder if he will be present at the 2026 World Cup. In any case, the pressure is no longer there to become world champion, so if he can't participate, he probably won't mind. I'd like to see him in action for a few more years. If he wants to quit the Argentina national team, everyone understands that of course. But Argentina without Messi, then you have little chance of success and in principle virtually no chance of becoming world champion. It's all still a long way off, still 3.5 years before the tournament starts. First, we will have Euro 2024 in 1.5 years.
messi is a legend and so is Ronaldo. Both have their own speciality.
I think apart from the personal decision - there is fate which shapes our destiny - and for muslim Ronaldo is the blessed person to have been landed and admired so much on the holy land.
Although the next World Cup will see the game of the new generation, if we do not see the game of the living legends like Lionel Messi and Ronaldo, then watching the football game will be a pleasure to enjoy, there will be no peace of eyes.

I have enjoyed watching every World Cup in football for the last 30 years or so.
After the 1986 World Cup and Maradona, I thought no one would be able to top it, but then other great football stars came along like Ronaldo and Ronaldinho and later Messi and Ronaldo. It is the natural course of life, some leave, others come. I am sure that at the next World Cup we will see new football stars and enjoy great football again  Grin
Mbappe will surely be a big star at the next few world cups, and I'm sure that Neymar has not yet said his last word in the Brazilian national team.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 02, 2023, 01:00:40 PM
It's really hard, Liverpool is better than Chelsea but Real Madrid have beat Liverpool in both legs. So I'm expecting Real Madrid will win with big margins in the first leg since it will played on Real Madrid's home. Chelsea doesn't need to win, they only need to make a draw at their best. Because if they get beaten with big margins, it will affect every players' psychology and think it's impossible to beat Real Madrid.

Even though Liverpool is also having a pretty tough season so far i still agree that they are still way stronger at the moment than FC Chelsea. Therefore it is definitely correct that Real Madrid is the very big favorite in the upcoming Champions League quarterfinal against Chelsea. That being said, i also don't really think that Real Madrid is that strong. The match up against Liverpool was pretty much decided already after the first leg even though Liverpool had a great start into that game so this was overall pretty weird. After their big lead from the first leg it was obviously very easy for Real Madrid to just get that lead over the line in the second leg.
So Real Madrid is definitely the big favorite, but they are also not extremely strong.

It can be said that all three clubs, both Real and Liverpool and Chelsea, are not playing well in the national championships this season, but Real has been very convincing in the Champions League so far.
This has been the rule for some time, that Real has a hard time winning titles in the Spanish championship, but that's why they win titles in the Champions League, similar to Chelsea. Football is a very unpredictable sport and it is very difficult to predict anything.
Ok, I think we all agree that Real will be the favorite in the match against Chelsea, but let's not forget that this is the Champions League, and that there have been bigger surprises in this competition. Remember Villarreal last season?

389  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we start with $10 in CRYPTO MARKET? on: April 02, 2023, 12:36:10 PM
In fact, do you know that you can start your crypto journey without any money, with 0$ ?
Look under economy/marketplace/services and if you have some knowledge or skills in programming, if you know how to make a logo or can help with translation into other languages, then you can already start earning your first bitcoin without any investment of money, just based on your work.
As for trading, $10 is too small to start with, and besides, crypto trading is really not for everyone because you need to know how to analyze the crypto market, predict trends...
Many have tried to trade in the crypto market, but not all of them succeeded, so I advise you not to rush until you learn all the necessary trading skills, and until you determine your specific investment goals and have a clear exit strategy.

391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Not about to give up hope. on: April 02, 2023, 12:24:16 PM
I have had to experience some dark times alone, in the which both family and friends couldn't understand.
The loss most times or the fear of loss opened my eyes to valuable lessons and the hope to rebound after such an experience lies wherein one doesn't stay flat faced on the ground.
Apart from myself, most companies too have had to crash or close down for reasons that sum up as unprecedented. I took the liberty to compile some recent programs that have failed recently with a message of hope to others and individuals that the best can still be gained from any of such awful experience.

No one would believe If they were told some months ago that:
• FTX would collapse,
• LUNA would go to 0,
• 3AC/BlockFi/Celsius would implode,
• USDC would de-peg,
• Interest rates would rise to 4.5%+,
• Major banks would collapse,
• The SEC would attack crypto, and
• Bitcoin will STILL be above $24k.
Here we are, and wherein these failed, others has risen to the challenge with better services and security against similar recurrence.

Am not about to give up hope, so should you.

•What ways have you exercised hope after setbacks or failure?
•What lessons can we learn from your experience?

I've been trying to make some money on the Internet for almost 25 years and I've lost money more times than I can count.
There is nothing I haven't tried, from Revshare program, adclick, Forex, MLM and everywhere I lost money.
All my friends, with whom I was trying to earn something on the Internet, had already given up except me.
I ended up making money in crypto and bitcoin and tried to get my friends interested, but they had already lost money so many times before on Internet that they were just too skeptical and didn't want to get involved.
What can be concluded from my example? Maybe it's just that you should never give up, but also that you should learn from your previous mistakes and be ready for changes.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 01, 2023, 11:28:57 AM
Saturday's transfer gossip:

Chelsea have emerged as major contenders to sign Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 24, this summer.
Chelsea are also set to make a bid for Barcelona and Spain left-back Alejandro Balde, 19, to replace England defender Ben Chilwell, 26.
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Chelsea's Kai Havertz, 23, with the Germany forward previously expressing interest in being reunited with his former manager Thomas Tuchel. Chelsea will obviously have a very turbulent transfer season in the coming days and months as a lot of players leave and a lot of new players arrive. What kind of team will Chelsea have next season and will they be competitive and fight for trophies next season?
Paris St-Germain have told Lionel Messi they will pay whatever it takes to keep him, amid reports Barcelona have made contact about a potential return for the Argentina forward, 35. So, given the current financial power of PSG and Barcelona, the obvious question arises, what will win in the end? Heart or money?  Grin
Arsenal are keen on Real Madrid's Aurelien Tchouameni, with Liverpool also said to be interested in the 23-year-old France midfielder. Is Real ready to let him go? The player who should replace Modric?
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says the club have been busy during the international break lining up summer targets and are ready to spend big in the transfer market. The real question is whether Klopp will continue to lead Liverpool after a very disappointing season and especially if they do not qualify for the Champions League next season?

393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Croatian League - Hrvatska nogometna liga 2022./2023. on: April 01, 2023, 11:19:44 AM
Today, after a break for the national team, the Croatian football league continues.
Can Hajduk get closer to Dinamo and make them even more nervous after a series of bad results lately?
However, Dinamo is a huge favorite against Gorica and Hajduk traditionally has problems against Sibenik.
The fight for Croatia's remaining 2 spots in European club competitions between Osijek, Varazdin, Slaven, Istra and Rijeka is also interesting. Gorica is definitely out of the league.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: April 01, 2023, 11:11:59 AM
I was actually surprised because it turned out that many people doubted Croatia. maybe because they got off to a bad start to their first game against Wales. Croatia was held to a 1-1 draw. but even so, Croatia was actually playing quite well at that time. they dominated and created a lot of chances but the Wales defense didn't falter. they defend pretty well and tightly.

395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: April 01, 2023, 11:00:34 AM
Even if beer was banned from stadiums in Qatar what’s the big deal about that, before the World Cup we had some sort of ideas about the religious laws in the Middle East I don’t think it’s right forcing a country out of their own culture.

Regardless of all the critics Qatar raise the standards in World Cup hosting and I am not going to envy the next host of the World Cup because it would be hard to out do Qatar .
I also agree with what you said!
I believe that even before Qatar was chosen for the World Cup, FIFA teams and staff knew that, that country has different cultures, it is a very religious country, and have several strict rules.

Will we have any restrictions during the world cup games in 2026?

Yes and before the recent World Cup happened, the FIFA council made sure that everything they do, they will have a discussion with it or relay it to the organizers to make sure that whatever they are planning to do will not be against to the country's culture and beliefs because FIFA will certainly be under heavy criticisms once a single mistake will slide out. But this time, I bet the World Cup will be much looser because the countries in North America which will host the next WC are pretty much open to almost everything.
The 2022 World Cup in Qatar just ended with a bang. The organization of this World Cup has created a great stir all over the world. By doing this, FIFA has been able to match themselves in a great way. Hopefully FIFA will hold the next World Cup in a more extraordinary manner so that football fans are enthralled again.

The next World Cup will be held in as many as three countries and 16 cities, in the USA, Canada and Mexico, and as many as 48 national teams will participate, which has never happened before.
So, practically, a quarter of all the countries in the world will participate in this world cup, and this will mean a lot for the development of football in less developed African and Asian countries.
A completely different question is about the quality of the competition itself and the astronomical costs for the organizers, but FIFA has obviously already achieved its goal related to the profit from the competition.
396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 01, 2023, 10:52:56 AM
Sinner broke the prediction that there would be a repeat in the final, Alcaraz lost in a long match of 3 sets, only saw the match in the 3rd set and it was really cool play from Sinner and Alcaraz made quite a few mistakes and 2x double faults in game 7th set 3 eased Sinner's steps to the final. In the final Sinner will face Medvedev who has previously qualified through a 3-set match with Khachanov. The two semifinal matches this time were really very tight and interesting matches.

In the women's final of Rybakina vs Kvitova, it seems that Rybakina will still not be stopped in the final, she is still too good, when she beat Pegula she showed a consistent performance.

This is great news for Djokovic as Alcaraz will now lose a lot of points by not winning this tournament, which will allow Djokovic to be the number one tennis player in the world again from Monday.
However, I must admit that I would have much preferred if the decision of the American Congress to lift the Covid restrictions had been made much earlier and if Djokovic could have played in these tournaments in America.
I'm sure we would watch great matches between him and Alcaraz in the fight for the position of the best tennis player in the world.
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 01, 2023, 10:46:20 AM
Since real madrid is having so many experiences in UCL and Ancelotti is still trying to take UCL as the main target. La liga may be abandoned by ancellotti but real madrid must keep winning the match to make sure if madrid will still stay at the second position of la liga.
Nah I don't believe such kind reason, Ancelotti always use their main line up in every leagues, if Ancelotti doesn't care with La Liga, Copa del Rey or any other leagues, he will just replace Benzema with Mariano Diaz, Rodriguez or Asensio. Ancelotti is focus in every league, if he can make Real Madrid to get every trophies, he will do it.

Too early to say Real Madrid will become a champion again, there are Napoli, Bayern Munich and PSG can be a big threat for Real Madrid.

In the Copa del Rey, we will probably see Madrid's first-tier squad. Because Madrid can't win El Clasico for a long time. It is indeed a shame for them. The team is consistently performing poorly against Barcelona. Fans are also very upset with the team. And so Ancelotti will want to win this match. At the same time, the possibility of winning the La Liga title is almost non-existent for Madrid. The Champions League title is uncertain. The competition in the Champions League is very high. While the Copa del Rey title is less important, though Ancelotti will want to secure it.

Real Madrid is a very experienced team in the Champions League platform. They know very well how to handle strong opponents. That's why even when the opposition is strong, the players don't get flustered. They are able to continue to perform well.

I agree with you that Real has had poor results in matches against Barcelona lately, but I would say that Real, at least in the last 2 matches against Barcelona, played very well and deserved to win but they were not lucky enough, and the referees damaged Real with their doubtful decisions.
However, in the Champions League, Real is always the favorite no matter how they play in the Spanish league or who they play against in the Champions League.
I would say that currently in the Champions League, the biggest favorites for the title are Manchester City, Bayern and Real.
