Dude, TEK is awesome. Let it be and it will deliver. Any short-sighted people will come and go. That is the way it is right now. More power for us TEK holders.

Yup, mintpal doesnt mean anything right now, and we r already in bittrex.
I believe dev is working on many things and I have faith that KTK's time will come. Would love to get some more info by dev ofc, but im still buying at ridiculous prices. Just 1 good feature release, a couple of retweets after, and ktk new support will be much higher

RegistrationRegisterSupportContactDepositsConfirmations are currently set to 10. You can watch the status of your deposit from your Deposit page. Let's do this. 1btc to get listed in 1-2 hours and 0.2btc to get coin listed in 24-48 hours. These are required: Enter your email address: Enter the name of the coin: Enter the symbol of the coin: Enter the link to sourcecode on github: Enter the link to the announcement post at bitcointalk or cryptocointalk: I can make this happen, but I do not know the proper link to the sourcecode on github. Can we use escrow money for this or should we wait until next wallet release and do this concurrently with a new wallet release? By the way this site has made significant improvements IMO since its beginning.

Crypt0KeeperIf you're able, please modify the logo at the top of the Reddit page to read " Silkcoin" instead of " Silk Coin". If you pasted an existing graphic someone else made, let me know and I will send you an updated version this evening. ** Team FYI ** For anybody working on graphics/social media, the font we're using for Silkcoin's logo is called 'Playball' and can be downloaded here: http://www.fontspace.com/typesetit/playballTo help us achieve the next level of branding professionalism, I am compiling a formal Silkcoin Media Design Guide as time permits... stay tuned! Ben Excellent, thank you!! You read my mind as I was thinking we all need to use the same font. Good move. I am working on several PR items so this is definitely needed. I will await the Design Guide to make anything formal. Thanks!!

Previous investors in silk, quite possibly as mentioned will be looking for exits when price is right, so we need to have a solid base of new investors and spread the currency as vastly as possible while implementing payment integrations while previous investors possibly exit. When the new version is released, and then when the voting system is implemented, it will be interesting to see how the market reflects this. Personally i will avoid talking about price any further but will continue my efforts to help organize the ultimate advancement of silk. We have a long exciting road ahead of us.. havent even left the bazaar yet.
Yes, agreed. I look at it the same way. Right now I am not driven or even care what the price is. Once we have our foundation built, price will come with our sincere efforts to make this coin the one of few essential coins to have in your portfolio. Or should I make a new word here and call it "Cryptolio".......hmmmmm.

Do not worry community. Things moving along and we should start to pick up speed here soon enough. This part of the process/rebuild is most critical and always will take a fair amount of time if you want it done correctly. We are doing it correctly and it will show. Smile and be happy that you have a wallet with Silk in it!

I designed that video if you would like me to do another send a script or give me time and i will try to come up with something funny, i have been reading this thread everyday Artelis is doing a fantastic job , i have also invested an a little silk to help out, But i am yet to see any dev movement at all? promises of things being worked on but nothing.. the exchanges are all open u can deposit and withdraw , yet no one has taken the reigns yet or produced anything.. even with just graphical tweaks, why not? Don't get me wrong , i want this to succeed, i will help where i can , but have not been asked officially yet by anyone in charge coz it looks like no one is in charge, all i see is a fantastic group of people who are a credit to the coin , but no one taking the Actual wallet and producing anything. i hope for all our sake someone steps up soon and produces something tangible, until then we just have a group of nice and well meaning people with no one to lead them.. Q There is a lot of work being done currently before Silkcoin starts to move along. We are forming a SOLID base from which to relaunch. Unlike the first Silkcoin dev team, we shall have numerous items ready to go to keep Silkcoin advancing in the weeks/months after the successful relaunch/rebirth has taken place. I can understand everyone's impatience (mine included), however, without a solid base then it will collapse as it did with the first devs. The code was a mess, no other strategies beyond a good looking wallet, no future plan was laid out. The previous devs were banking on the whitepaper to pump up the price. They were gonna dump no matter what. When the whitepaper did nothing to pump the price, guess what, they still dumped. We are picking up the pieces, WILL make it better, and with the community behind us, WILL go far. Patience.

Faucet works great. The link to find out more about the Silkcoin community does not. Please correct. Thanks!!!

OK, Silk Community the voting is tied for two mission statements. Give me a few days and I'll have the outline ready which will have the Vision, Mission, and Silkcoin's info all nice and neat for worldwide presentation (after a vote, of course).

Voted for "To be the safest, most trusted cryptocurrency, relentless in the pursuit of innovation.". I like the relentless part. Maybe combine the two: "To build a trusted digital ecosystem relentless in the pursuit of innovation and transparency." Yes, that is very good. Thanks for the feedback on that. I really like that! Just maybe............

|
|
Yes, relentless is a great word. If that statement doesn't win then it'll be placed somewhere else that is just as relevant.

Yes, if you could select which skin you want you wallet to be, that would be tremendous. I am sure people would buy SC just to have that wallet option. Good strategy.

To be the most technologically advanced cryptocurrency on the market. Well it's not going to be the most technologically advanced crypto so using this would be false(although not a reason not to use it).To become the cryptocurrency that consumers, investors, and the community can trust. Trust is a big sell point and you're calling out each group in an alertive first person(consumers, investors)(makes me think the "vision statement" includes me and has a personal touch).
My sentiments exactly! That was my logic to decide between the two when I voted. I think we should stress trust and value over claiming to be the best (or one day be the best). Although there are more coins now with staking, staking is definitely an advantage because it's rare with coins that people actually want to hold. The others are just shitty dump coins where even if the stake interest was 20% you would be losing money by not selling it off, haha. Hell, in this economy, you can't even get interest on USD. At least not 2% that's for sure!
Vision: A sustainable bitcoin alternative Mission: To build a trusted digital ecosystem ... Vision Statement (Desired End-State): A one-sentence statement describing the clear and inspirational long-term desired change resulting from an organization or program’s work.
Mission Statement (What You Do): A one-sentence statement describing the reason an organization or program exists and used to help guide decisions about priorities, actions, and responsibilities.
Yes, these are good, however, we aim to overtake bitcoin so having bitcoin in our vision statement isn't a good idea IMO. I do like your mission statement and I will add it in the next poll. I do agree that the mission statement should be short, but one sentence isn't reality. Most mission statements are a few sentences or bullet points. Thanks for ideas and any more please, please let me know. I should have poll out tonight at some point. Thanks!! I will try and keep it to one sentence and no more than three. Hopefully this will work.
