Kryptly UpdateThe paypal option is now live on the marketplace! As the current 2 products listed are the Kryptly author account, the full payment is paid to the paypal account I setup. For other authors, it will split the payment with 2% going to Kryptly. I've been talking to a few people and think one of them is going to add some products to the marketplace. I should have confirmation this week, looking at 3-4 wordpress plugins being listed Very good news! I am excited to have that up and running with paypal. It is so nice to see how much progress has been made in one years time. I think we should celebrate KTK's one year anniversary!! Sounds like a good idea, What did you have in mind? I'm not sure yet, but something would be nice. Not too many coins can say they have been around a year and have advanced the whole time.

I really wish that I would have known that all exchange wallets were disabled for this coin. I made a quick decision and bought a few, only to find out I couldn't do anything with them. It took me quite a bit of page flipping to even find out why. Even the Twitter acct has no relevant info on the coin. I'm still not exactly sure what's going on. My next plan is that we come out with a wallet that will mine for science as I have been a Bionic member since 1997 working with the seti and Eisenstein projects using my computers to help.
Yes, Mining via 'PoR', like Gridcoin Research is a great way to generate coins IMO. I have been using BOINC for quite some time myself for SETI, Einstien@Home and Cern projects. Yes, it is BOINC and not BIONIC, and Einstein and not Eisenstien... No offense man, but your post doesn't instill a whole lot of faith... It seems to me that there are some serious issues that you have to overcome before you can even consider some of the things you're talking about... But, best of luck... I hope everything works out. We've been switching out the wallet and we've had our fair share of set backs, but we're very dedicated to this coin and we've been recruiting human assets as well as making advances on the wallet. We're wrapping the wallet up and getting ready to send it out to exchanges and then swap out the coins. I sincerely apologize to everyone for how this has taken but we're doing all this off donated time and out of pocket so please be understanding that we are doing the best we can and that despite it taking awhile we are absolutely not giving up on this. Can you give us a sneak peek at the new wallet and functions? Will it have any of the items the last wallet had (IRC, etc.)?

It looks like the spent weight per block is anywhere from 30k -250k with 150k looking to be the average (back of the envelope calculations).
I'm new in the HyperStake world and I saw that the wiki isn't update, so I change the value 4000 HYP with 150k HYP in this page : http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/What_is_PoS%3F?action=edit§ion=2(Before, with the wiki I was thinking I was rich with my 10k HYP, but in fact not ^_^'' ) presstab was talking about the weight of 150k, not the block size. A block of 150k HYP will give 1,5m weight in 10 days. Oh, ok, thank you, then what are the best block size now? Because a block with 10k HYP is on "medium-high" priority and a 3.5k is less (I don't remember what is written on the priority column). Édit : I re-update the wiki for changing 150k with 4000, like it was before, but it's far from "the" good value now Try to experiment with a 10k-15k block size. It will translate into a 100k-150k weight on the 10th day of the block age. Sizes below 10k still apply but you'll need to wait more for your first stake. Yes, I have all my blocks at 25k now and at day 10 the weight is ~250k. Almost all of mine stake within 15-17 days depending on difficulty. so it better to have one 25k block or a 15k block? This is up to you to decide. If you want quicker stakes then you need larger block sizes (larger block size = more coin weight = quicker stakes in theory). If you don't care about time to stake then you can have smaller block sizes. For instance my block sizes of 25k usually stake twice in a month. Having smaller block sizes usually means that the block will usually take longer to stake. This all depends on difficulty of course. Once difficultly stays above 30 consistently then I probably will match my block size to the average difficulty (ex: avg. difficulty = 35 then my block size would be 35K).

Kryptly UpdateI now have the paypal AppID approved, so we can process the payments and automatically split the payment between Kryptly and authors. I'm just double checking everything before I enable for all users. So will be live either tomorrow or Wednesday the latest. After that we can start focusing on marketing, getting more authors on board and more marketing! Very nice news, dev! Any plans for marketing yet or shall we begin brainstorming ideas to you and others in our community?

Hey guys, did we ever decide what to do with djslick and his 888? Someone else I know forgot to burn his coins too. Late to the party for sure, but thought I'd ask anyway (I'm sure I know the answer). Thanks and nice buys going on. Nice to see OCTO on the move.

Yes, please stick with 1 minute. This a very good time as it is just outside of the window of massive problems. And we do not need any more problems with MaryJane please. Let's get this done and move toward the top.

Excellent. Thanks, much appreciated!!!

Talking about HYP as High PoS versus 750% High PoS sounds better anyways. I see the topic header was changed to that effect, good move.
Yeah at this point it is a bit misleading to say HYP is 750% PoS. Sure the code has 750% in there, but with the maximum generation of 1k HYP, I am seeing more along the lines of 150-500% depending on my blocks size and time to stake. Yes, your model has worked flawlessly. Experiment successful and presstab wins, hands down! Good job my friend.

http://www.coindesk.com/nevada-regulators-bitcoin-poker-operator-arrest/and this is why we are staying away from gambling including poker. i'm very libertarian/anarchist but i don't plan on going to prison over bs like this. luckily i do think most people will see the value in what we have planned when details are released. don't forget to sign up for the 888 Lottery Faucet if you are new to OCTO. you will see the link in my signature. it's your chance to receive between 1-888 OCTO at the end of the month. still waiting for thegrid.io invitation to get the website started. Hello. I hope things are progressing nicely. I too would like to see what is the story on thegrid.io. Any updates?

Getting the Dark Gravity Wave. 420 coin rewards halves every 500 blocks with 15 seconds in between blocks . Get ready to mine next Friday.
I think the 15 seconds in between blocks will really make a difference in being able to have 15 second transactions for the retail aspect as when people are waiting in a dispensary at a register the faster the better .
Sorry for the delay but Im getting some pros this time to make sure this goes smoothly.
Thanks for the help everyone esp Jahvinchi
-Adam
15 seconds between blocks is generally not so good because it creates more orphans, you would have many Blocks trying to reach each other at once. 1 minute is generally fine, they could wait off to the side for a moment as you help someone else to make sure it goes through, or assume the risk. It takes more than 1 minute in order to do a debit transaction most times anyways. We're going to take your advice and make it 1 minute blocks, thanks for the input Crest. Yes, that would be the minimum I would go with as well. No need for orphans clogging up the chain. Good to see progress. Come on MaryJ!!

It is just a matter of time before DNotes focus on strategy and clear path to growth and stability is recognized by the rest of the world. Goldman and IDG Put $50 Million to Work in a Bitcoin CompanyEven as public interest has waned, however, major financial institutions have been quietly but seriously examining the opportunities offered by the technology, and particularly the new financial network that hosts the Bitcoin digital tokens and allows them to be sent around the world securely, cheaply and almost instantly. ... “ Although Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies are still in the early stages of development, they could gain traction once clear use cases become more established,” the report said. ... http://www.nytimes.com/2015/04/30/business/dealbook/goldman-and-idg-put-50-million-to-work-in-a-bitcoin-company.html?_r=0Yes, also on Yahoo Finance http://finance.yahoo.com/news/bitcoin-goes-mainstream-174241858.htmlAnd another nail in Apple Pay, “Apple Pay (AAPL) doesn’t do anything for me as a consumer,” he argues. “But if I can transfer bitcoins to somebody else around the world and pay for goods and services, I think they want to be part of that process.”
