3 things you do

Make conf file in roaming

Make server execute file that opens wallet in server mode

Set miner to server

p2pool is to give an option for anyone here. I am currently sending cpu to p2pool and my "farm" does it solo rigth now.

Can I ask how many coins you've got?
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] a new coin based on Litecoin - CHNCoin on: May 01, 2013, 09:01:35 AM
You guys can experiment with adding these to cgminer

Code:
-s 1 --expiry 1 --queue 0

No guarantee it will help.

Since I joined your p2p 1 hour ago I've only been able to scrape up 140 coins, added that and was about to get 175 more within a minute. I don't know what the hell that does and it's anecdotal but there you go.

I think the p2pool needs to be connected to more nodes.

Diff need to up, so we get less orphans. p2pool is finding alot of block.

You are right. We are almost at the next diff increase. Hopefully it will go up a lot, blocks are being generated too fast.

Can you explain like I'm mildly retarded what the hell an orphaned block is?

For those that do not manage to get solo running, try the pool as given in the beginning:

cgminer --scrypt -o p2pool.chnco.in:8800 -u *YOUR CHNCOIN ADRES*-p x --intensity 13 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 --lookup-gap 2 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-memclock 1500

Oh and coins can be send to:

670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] a new coin based on Litecoin - CHNCoin on: May 01, 2013, 08:38:25 AM
How do I solo mine with cgminer?

I would use the p2p pool from the first page.

If you insist use this guide.

http://maunderingcabal.blogspot.com/2013/02/bitcoin-mining-log-9-how-to-solo-mine.html

There's 3 things you gotta do,

make a conf file in the roaming folder

make a bat server file that launches you wallet in server mode

set your miner to mine at the server.

Thank you. Smiley

Problem is I nearly getting no coins anymore from the p2pool.

No problem.

I mined 5 blocks that were accepted solo and I never got anything for them, that's why I'm suggesting p2p.

You don't know what the word scam means.

Alright, so my cudaminer tells me i've found 8 blocks, however only 1 has been confirmed & credited to my wallet

the others are all "mined but not accepted" if the translation is correct, any idea what this means? Smiley

Those were orphaned.

Poor babes.

Everyone use your brain, and stop mining this very obvious pre-mined scam.

Mind your on business. I respect China, they have a great history and are a wonderful peoples.

What the hell has Chinese history got to do with you getting suckered into this scam?

The Chinese would never scam us. That is the point.

I'm pretty sure anyone is capable of scamming anyone. The Chinese are not special in that respect.

I'm fucking kidding people. But seriously, it seems like half of you don't even know what the word scam means.

How is this a scam? Is it some conspiracy to get a ton of people to switch over their hashing power so they can mine the other coins? Is it because they may have pre mined it to get a head start? Like where are you or I getting scammed and what are we getting scammed out of?
