281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Poll] Is LiteCoin Dead? on: November 27, 2013, 05:33:41 AM
Yeah. It had a pretty good run though. Paved the way for the true King of Altcoins, Bitbar.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the fastest coin out there? on: November 27, 2013, 03:12:24 AM
I really don't think speed matters as much as you're making it out.

definitely matters.  alot.  are you gonna sit on an old pc with windows 95 or get windows 8?  faster is better, time is money

No it really doesn't if you've been following cryptos a long time. To change the block times to be super fast can be done in seconds, yet only 1 or 2 coins has tried something like that for a reason.

Updated.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should have put money in Litecoin instead.... WTF is this s***!! on: November 27, 2013, 12:25:13 AM
Seems that Litecoin might actually happen. I will never understand why, but seems that people will buy anything with coin on it.

The crypto world/economy works in strange ways, I don't even know 100% of what going on at times. Some things don't makes since most of the times and other times it makes sense. Oh well, just ride the roller coaster we call cryptocurrency....

At this point if you put your money into anything but Chinacoin you should have made money.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Critique My Holdings on: November 27, 2013, 12:14:47 AM
I am currently putting some in QRK.
Smart move. It will prove to be a good investment in due time.

Why?
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoin dead ? on: November 27, 2013, 12:09:15 AM
When btc was 5 cents everyond thought it was dead. Then $6....

This time to $30?

Lets be honest; LTC will never worth 1000$, In the end everyone will reject all cryptocurrencies and accept only btc. LTC is good now but later i doubt so

This is becomming more unlikely by the minute. There's really no reason places won't accept more than just Bitcoin. When Bitcoin hits $10,000 each I don't see why LTC can't be $500-1000, or hell other coins as well.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] [PPC] When will Peercoin reach dollar parity? (Done 2013-11-21!) on: November 26, 2013, 06:18:55 PM
As of today it hits 3$.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Peercoin blasts past 50 million dollar market cap! on: November 26, 2013, 04:16:19 PM
12 hours later and it's 60m we go!
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin breaks $300 million market cap , the second highest cryptocoin on: November 26, 2013, 10:07:35 AM
Congratulations LTC. Keep paving the way for the rest of the alt coins. Don't worry, none of us will assassinate you!
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MCXNow Realsolid Has Screwed Everyone. MCXNOW SHUTTING DOWN!! on: November 26, 2013, 06:57:29 AM
Never really used MCXNow. Can someone give me  a short explanation as to how people were screwed/scammed by the exchange closing down?
Only people who held not-really-shares in the exchange. It closed very quickly after raising a huge amount of money.

Oi.

Orphaned I'd guess.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Peercoin blasts past 50 million dollar market cap! on: November 26, 2013, 03:11:07 AM

Congratulations Peercoin!

Thanks to coinmarketcap.com for an awesome site!

Update: 12 hours after this post we hit 60 million.

Update 2: Another 10 hours after that, we've passed 70 million.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Differences between Primecoin (XPM) and Peercoin (PPC) on: November 26, 2013, 01:42:59 AM
Most everything you mentioned isn't right. XPM does not use PoS, they do not have the same inflation rate, and they were never designed to be similar  Grin
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PPC] PPCoin Released! - First Long-Term Energy-Efficient Crypto-Currency on: November 25, 2013, 10:40:07 PM
another milestone for PPC.
http://coinmarketcap.com/

$ 46,817,371 market cap.
$ 2.25 price
20,782,980 PPC total supply.

What is the total amount of PPC that will ever be created?

2 billion technically, but since it already has a lower inflation rate than BTC we'll be lucky if we seen 50 million in our lifetime.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [PPC] Jays Jerky and Goodies Now Supports Peercoin on: November 25, 2013, 10:15:18 PM
Awesome, thanks for the info. Might buy some as Christmas gifts.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Masses are Coming! The Masses are Coming! DON'T sell. on: November 25, 2013, 09:04:25 AM
I don't think there's currently enough interest in coins for one with a 1M to fly to 150ish in 3 months or less ( in addition to all the other ones ). It would take as you say, the masses. They would need to pump out a pretty huge ad campaign, starting very soon according to your timeline and there's a ton of people who would call it for what it is. Plus we have you here who apparently already saw through this anyway.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Masses are Coming! The Masses are Coming! DON'T sell. on: November 25, 2013, 08:39:01 AM
A lot of what Vlad said about alt-coins may be true, but he clearly should be less obvious about pumping his ixCoin, and putting all his BTC into ixCoin is very brave and reckless, especially since I can't even open the website of this ixCoin, just to read about it. Is it just me, or the site is down?

Less obvious about pumping ixCoin?

So I should be deceitful?

I'm not pumping ixCoin, I don't know how many times I have to say this.

If you thought you owned a stock that would make you rich would you not tell everyone about it?

Is that pumping?  To me pumping is:  cleverly colluding to drive the price of an asset up under false pretenses while lying and exaggerating with the intent of dumping said asset for a quick profit.

That is not what I am doing.  I will not sell any ixCoin even at $1 which would be a 100 fold increase for me.  I will not sell any of my ixCoins until my 30-90 day price target of ~$10 is reached.

So how am I a pumper?

You think this coin is going to have a 161M dollar market cap 3 months from now?
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Masses are Coming! The Masses are Coming! DON'T sell. on: November 25, 2013, 07:27:58 AM
I would not trust Vlad. My opinion on his motives have cycled through various different possibilities, from pure trollage to nonsense to trickery in his favor. Just what exactly do you want Vlad?

I want fucking profits, troll.  Profits.

My $8,000 ixCoin investment is now worth $44,000 (and I'm not selling even 1 coin), and so is everyone's who took my advice.

How you doin', mental midget?

So you're telling everyone this for your personal profits then?  I'm doing great! My investment has been better than yours, I saw a 14x increase.

And how hard did you try (while being called a pumper) and how many coins did you give away to try and bring as many people up with you?

Just answer the question. You're just a benevolent guy who wants everyone here to succeed. Is that right?

I am not good nor am I even a decent person.  I am here for one reason only and that is to make money.

But when I think about making millions and being the only one (as nobody was buying ixCoin when I got here, not one single person) it makes me feel very guilty and I feel really bad so I did my best to get people to buy some ixCoin.

And to prove I was sincere I put up pics multiple times showing my balances and my trades to show that I was never dumping and I also gave away ixCoin to people to encourage them to buy some.

And on top of all that, because I didn't selfishly accumulate ixCoin like I could have, but instead kept telling people about ixCoin, and so I had to compete at times for the few ixCoins that were for sale and so I ended paying about 20 Bitcoins more for my share of ixCoin than I would have if I had kept my mouth shut.

Now you show me how hard you tried to bring people up with you and how much it cost you when you made 1,400% profit to make you feel so self righteous as to judge me for trying to make a profit.

And please, post pics, like I have, to back up any altruistic story you may have to share.  Because a quick to judge hater such as yourself surely didn't make 1,400% without helping those around him and without giving away a significant amount of coins in the process to help and encourage others.

This isn't about me at all. I've never claimed to be altruistic or generous. As often as you come into the community shouting 'This is gonna happen, look and see' or 'I told you this would happen! It happened! Now this will happen!', it shouldn't come as a surprise someone is questioning your motives. If what you just said is how you really are or  at the very least how you're gonna play it, so be it. Carry on  Kiss
