81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 20, 2024, 01:42:08 PM

It would be very naive if Madrid did that because in the end we also cannot assume that Bayern is an ordinary club, especially with the release of the Bundesliga trophy at this time, so the goal is the Champions League because it is the only way for Bayern to save their face so surely they will try as hard as possible to get good results so it is wrong if Madrid considers Bayern underestimated in the semi-finals this time.

But for now with Madrid winning against Manchester City some time ago, their probability has increased and they are the favorites in this competition.
I personally still feel that until now Madrid is the favorite for the Champions League and indeed I feel that now is the place for Madrid to get their 15th trophy.

There's no reason for Madrid to underestimate Bayern
They have always been one of the most dominant team in the UCL in recent years so caution would be employed while playing them no matter their form.
Madrid can be considered a favored child in UCL
No matter their form
They always are the likeliest to win the trophy and who ever manages to win them has already won the UCL.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has bitcoin prices not increased just after halving ? on: April 20, 2024, 01:29:23 PM
The fee increase was mainly as a result of rune protocol launched
It's quite normal,Bitcoin price doesn't necessary pump on the day of halving
It's a gradual movement before it kicks off.
This is why I don't like introducing individuals to Bitcoin or others
If it doesn't go as they believed you to blame.
If you had told them the holding would be for a year plus they won't be this impatient.
Can't really blame them, they barely know how bitcoin works so is not surprising they panicking.

If you think the word 'algorithm' is a word that I am using to simply sound smart, then you have an extremely low level of intelligence. This is probably because you were breastfed by your father instead of your mother when you were young.

Lol this is fun
Do it again.
84  Other / Meta / Re: Post per day/ per month falling. on: April 20, 2024, 11:40:46 AM
I think the OP should have used several graphs that could be used to compare the trends over a bigger period of time as it would allow a greater understanding of how the number of posts per day were affected. Clearly 300,000 active users versus 57,000 does make a difference and will contribute to the number of posts being made.

How did you define active, was it any member that logged in the previous 3/6/9 months?

When I launched https://bpip.org, there were over 300,000 active members. Now there are 57,000.  That prob has a lot to do with it.
I only based it on post without considering active users
I was of the notion that getting the Accurate number of active users would be hard because of alt account and all.
But this link was kinda unique  https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adstats
It can be seen that the users active using "unique logged in users" has been relatively stable for some time now
But facing some kind of a downward movement.
There are old members that haven't logged in for years and was surprised to see an old account MemoryDealers posting after how many years.
Well to post about BCH.

Yes halving might not have much effect but it still has some as can be seen from the chart above.
Post count increased, is like a breaking out from a falling wedge
85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is celebrating about the fourth halving but what is this? on: April 20, 2024, 11:01:14 AM
Bitcoin heading more towards been more of a store of value than medium of exchange.
The rune protocol hype can't be maintained for long.
Like has been said the fee is already falling.
The price of Bitcoin is relatively which is to be expected
Is like the fee is holding many back
Lol to buy or to sell.
86  Economy / Reputation / Re: josephvname is a science hating fraudster. on: April 20, 2024, 10:32:56 AM
I don't understand, is this some kind of a play? It's interesting though.

Bitcoin has a mining algorithm that was never designed to advance science
ahhh Algorithm, a word that always make you feel smart.

87  Economy / Services / Re: [FOFF] Jambler Signature Campaign on: April 20, 2024, 09:05:42 AM
A shame, campaigns that are associated with Bitcoin and privacy are getting extinct by the day in BTT.
Is like a fight against Non KYC not just mixers.
I understand Theymos view and reasons but will the government stop only on Mixer or move actively towards Non KYC.
88  Other / Off-topic / Re: The act of getting loss when writing.. on: April 20, 2024, 07:50:04 AM
The best is to speak your mind
The more idea you have on a particular topic the better you would be direct in getting it across.
You don't have to make your work bulky to make a point
Just make sure every word has a purpose
We all learning
Can't say am the best or any better
But the more you read others reply and make replies the better you get.
Practice like they say makes perfect.

If the user you mentioned used a tool like you believe it wouldn't have been that enjoyable and direct when reading.
AI assistance lacks human touch and some platforms that help with grammar are already inculcating AI's.
Just be yourself and improve on your personal skill

92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "Jontay Porter receives lifetime ban from NBA for violating gambling rules" on: April 18, 2024, 08:58:17 PM
He deserve it. Selling your future for a couple of bucks
Can't understand why people seeing short term benefit neglect the long term effects.
As a professional there are certain information that shouldn't be disclosed and especially been exploited for their benefit.
Insider trading smells the same with punishment ranging from bad to worst.
I believe the punishment is worth it, This would limit the actions of those doing or planing it from engaging in such.
93  Other / Meta / Re: Why is merit not common on trading discussion board on: April 18, 2024, 08:50:32 PM
I know some good guys also on trading discussion with good posts. I do not say technical board posters are not good but do not undermine trading discussion board posters also. I am not talking about spamming, I am talking about posts that are worth to be given merit.
When I joined the forum I thought board like trading discussion don't receive merit because that's how everybody's mind is programmed.
I believe the same reason gambling board doesn't is the same reason Trading and discussion doesnt too
There are many boards where merit are rarely found and what's common is their major theme ain't really Bitcoin.
But despite this there are merit source there that still try their best to merit post they could find.
To be sincere merit source ain't really the issue
Like I said before, it has become something like a norm that trading discussion don't receive merit
That those who frequent it don't even send merit in the said Board.

94  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it possible for Liverpool to qualify today? on: April 18, 2024, 03:12:29 PM
Anything can happen in football, but taking a rational view I don't see them qualifying
All it would take is a single goal by Atalanta and their built up spirit would die.
They don't have to only score at least 4 goals but also prevent Atalanta from scoring
That's a dauting task to me.
They can give their best but I still believe is going to be hard for them to qualify.

96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Concept to Currency: Bitcoin’s Origin on: April 18, 2024, 10:49:00 AM

Bitcoin is actually fun to read about.
The history and applicability sure but going deeper especially the technical aspects isn't fun at all
Like what's letter doing with numbers
Sign coding sure is complex and requires time and patience which I'm currently lacking though.

Okay other members realised that your work was plagiarised
This action is actually frowned upon in this forum
Is better you create your on post that might be sub-par than stealing another without acknowledging them.
Atleast the more you post and listen to constructive criticism the better you would get.
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New phishing leverage to target crypto users, sms and voicemail, be on alert on: April 18, 2024, 10:14:03 AM
Social engineering. The thing is how was the private information of the victim leaked.
This is why many are been warned against KYC but feel their security and privacy is worth a couple of bucks.
Their first victory is gaining access to the victims phone number /email
The Other steps just need minor work.
Many people tend to be SMS from reputable firms and won't even consider it a scam because of the formality of the text and the name attached.

98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to Appreciate Your Favorite Casino Beyond Playing on: April 17, 2024, 09:24:22 PM
Give a good review and share your story. Many people are easily influenced by the success of others and if they ask you can tell them about the casino. Mind you you should be cautious of your marketing because any loss, would be linked to you by the referred user.

Just give a good review on their site or app or better still mention them on your page on social media or wear their Avatar or signature here for free.
99  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tracking inside of CEXs on: April 17, 2024, 09:04:08 PM
I'm surprised an hobby like that exist, what's the essence in indulging in such?
To your question is not possible to trace wallets inside a wallet.
Exchanges like binance protects their users privacy from everyone but themselves and who they choose to share with.
Moreno233 has already answered you
The coins belongs to the exchange not the individuals, they are just shown numbers as proof of their claims.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Short-term holders now have about ~1.8M BTC on: April 17, 2024, 08:46:16 PM
This is a bad sign to me and opposite of what you think.
These are holders that bought because of the halving not ones that are accumulating for their believe in the system.
I believe this is one of the reasons we experiencing this fall and volatile
Some are already taking profit. Imagine what will be done post or before halving
They going to drop some bags with the hope of buying cheaper.
To be sincere I would feel more at ease seeing $50K tomorrow than seeing $80K.
A fall is a momentum that gives rise to a pump.
Is like pulling a string, to go farther you have to push it backer imagine it's a word
Once released boom it's off at speed that can scare you
