You could try to contact them on twitter or via email.
Thanks andrew24p, the Twitter account is appreciated and is a great lead. He seems to have gone dark in 2015 without a single post here or tweet since. You mentioned email... do you know anywhere I could dig up an address? No luck as of yet. Thanks again

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Need Some Wisdom For Finding Mr. BitcoinWisdom

Is there any way to contact the creator of the BitcoinWisdom.com website? Anyone know him? It is such a great site and we have a good idea to add traffic. Any help or suggestions to reach the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain is greatly appreciated! Alternately, if anybody knows of any other similar good sites (how could they be better?), please let me know. Have a great day https://spendabit.co/go?q=4k+tv

I believe you all are under the mistaken belief that it was the woman that was invited to be on the panel. Where you went wrong in your logic is that is was actually her Shoes that were asked to be on the panel. The woman, was simply there to facilitate getting the Shoes there in a timely manner.
Also, you will notice there is a typo on the screen, it should have said Elizabeth Rossiello's Shoes.

What exactly is going on here with postnapping and why??

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL Is Craig Wright Satoshi Nakamoto?

Nope. This Wright guy is vain. Look at Satoshi's posts on this forum and there is no sign of that vanity.
That was before the project was a "success" though and there was oodles of work yet to be done. Search the posts and you will find the one that blurs the line. To me he shows conflicting signs of pride, ownership, honesty, drive, vision and a believed right to privacy.

i think you are overthinking the situation. this is more like a shitty photographer's fault than Coindest releasing this photo with the purpose of removing the woman out of the photo, and it doesn't look like a photoshopped picture either.
No matter how shitty the photographer is, the editor still has eyes and can see the woman is cut out. Definitely a poor choice in photo composition. I wouldn't be surprised if she was disappointed to see that photo was chosen. Bizarre as she is probably the one on the panel readers would most prefer to see. One could argue, however, that she is more than adequately represented by her enormous name and company name on the wall while 4 of the others are missing in that respect.

You're welcome Kprawn, glad you found a place to shop with Bitcoin on your holiday spree. Yes, Ray is talented. We don't have anything on Fiverr but the link to Ray's artwork in the article and below has stuff you can get with the painting on it like art prints, canvas and even mugs. I think the designs would look very cool on a mug. http://www.artpal.com/ray?r=68032

Spendabit supports the arts and growing the Bitcoin economy. Each week in May we will feature new Bitcoin-themed artwork. See the unique artwork logo: https://spendabit.co/Ray was born in Louisiana and has been creating art since childhood while working at his uncle's printing shop. "In my art, I contrast the Bitcoin logo with other historical forms of money, such as coins and paper money. Anything can be used as money if the seller is willing to accept it as payment" Read more about the artist and his inspiration: https://spendabit.co/blog/may-is-art-monthIf you are an artist who has been motivated by Bitcoin, let us know! https://spendabit.co/feedback

People used to talk about "losing sleep thinking about BTC all the time", and it wasn't just about money. We wanted to set people free.
In 2010/2011 Bitcoin was really exciting! Are you excited now about the Bitcoin project/economy? Why or why not?
The recent price stability of Bitcoin is really remarkable. This stability helps to open new opportunities as a currency.

Thank you for sharing this web site, I tried it and quite impressed by how many things I can buy from this web site. Do they run their own search engine or relies on Google?
Thank you for your kind words nanonymousx and the original poster chrisvl is to thank for sharing the article to the fine community here. To answer your question: We run our own search engine with our own software including web crawlers (spiders), servers and lots of hard work, kind of like "Google for Bitcoin". Though we don't use any technology from Google other than tangentially searching for or investigating new merchant leads by Googling them manually, and usually it's to confirm their acceptance of Bitcoin. We have a blog where you can read about our technical milestones, challenges and musings: https://spendabit.co/blog/https://spendabit.co/blog/full-speed-aheadYou can join our mailing list too, right at the bottom of each blog post: https://spendabit.co/blog/search-back-up-and-new-backend

And referall redirects?
All referral redirects from what I can see. If you search for something and hover on the links it has a "r=bitcoin.com" at the end. Its def a step in the right direction
Ref. spam is a step in the right direction? They could have done this without the referral part and it would have been much better. Not sure I understand what you mean by referral "redirects". This is just an id (text string) for our API to associate which Search Partner is submitting the relevant query. It could just as easily be "btc", "abc123" or "Lauda". You can try it for yourself: https://spendabit.co/go?q=suspicious&r=Lauda
