1841  Other / Meta / Re: Report new changes on Bitcointalk forum in this thread on: November 06, 2022, 08:39:06 AM
We're still waiting for the major release of Bitcointalk 2 though /s
Did you mean the new forum software? Keep the hopes us :-P

@OP, how about introducing merit, changing DefaultTrust?
There are also April fool events every year. You can have a topic to have a collection of all April fool events.
1842  Economy / Gambling / Re: STAKE.COM - VIP HOST REFUSES TO SEND REWARDS AND REFUSES TO CHANGE MY HOST on: November 05, 2022, 05:55:49 PM
I see you already made a post on this topic. It's better to wait to get a response from them. But if not then you can consider PMing Stuna who is looking after their bitcointalk presence.
1843  Economy / Services / Re: Shiley - organic traffic from engaged audience powered with AI on: November 05, 2022, 05:50:28 PM
It looks like an announcement to me rather than a service. Even if this is a service, are you offering it in bitcoin?
By the way, nice design on the ANN.
1844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - Rakeback up to 60% wager-free on: November 05, 2022, 05:46:04 PM
However consider posting good graphics too so that it caches the attention. Good luck Metaspins.
It is a very good advice for Metaspins.com team.

Graphics are good to attract forum members and gamblers. For this, they can use internal resource to create graphics and use it for each announcement.
Even with free version of Canva can produce some good images if there are no dedicated graphic designer for the team. It's unlikely though.
1845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - Rakeback up to 60% wager-free on: November 04, 2022, 08:02:47 PM
TAKE SCREENSHOTS, WIN CRYPTO
Good way to keep the community engaged. However consider posting good graphics too so that it caches the attention. Good luck Metaspins.

the maximum odds I have won was 58, I hope one day to be lucky and the odds are more than 1000
Long long ago I had very similar feeling, a bit less than you though. My highest odd that I own was somewhere from 47 to 50. I was confided so my stake was $20 or something. I can not recall it correctly. Whoever this guy, he is lucky. There are skills but skills are not enough unless you are lucky in a 10 or more selections.
1847  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX comedy and might be another exchange that bites the dust? on: November 04, 2022, 07:47:59 PM
Maybe this is off-topic, I don't know. I heard from a friend that Huobi was scamming their users by giving misleading information. Now they are denying their wrong part. It happened sometimes in the last 24 hours. It has something to do with "Gala" (token or something).
1848  Economy / Services / Re: Chinese and Korean speaker needed on: November 04, 2022, 07:43:47 PM
We have 中文 (Chinese) and 한국어 (Korean) local boards. The members who are not good at English or afraid of English they usually spend their time on the local boards. Hopefully you will find the right guys from there.

Cheers,

Thanks everyone for updating the sig and avatar. We are fully set. Looking forward to a great week.
Please check the payment information from the spreadsheet. If you find wrong information for payment then this is time now to notify me. You will only use forum PM for updating payment information. For anything else you can always reach out the campaign management Telegram group and one of my mod will take care of you.
1850  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Access to Ledger Nano S (2018 version) without PIN and seed words? on: November 04, 2022, 07:29:24 PM
The situation is complex. In short: the owner was running a badly structured business and died. The business partners are trying to recover their funds from the wallet. There is nothing criminal.
I understand this, but if he died he probably left some will and documents containing seed words and PIN, maybe even passphrase(s).
The documents (and maybe the seed words) are stuck in court. The crypto business the owner was running was formalized loosely on a blockchain and the court does not understand nor accept that. The business partners have spent years without success in that front.
Does it have something to do with the exchange which owner suddenly died but later it was rumored that he did not? A lawsuit was filed against him for scamming and then disappearing. I can not remember the story correctly but there was Canadian (maybe) exchange few years ago that was gone by telling this story.
1851  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: November 04, 2022, 07:22:33 PM
they are the casinos that I like to make accounts and I think I am able to put my KYC if necessary
You like to make accounts? How many you did? :-P
I don't know about sportsbet.io, haven't used them for long time but Stake requires KYC before depositing even if that is Crypto. Not all Crypto users will like it but they are big now means they can afford to filter their clients to have less hassle and pressure from the government.
1852  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | on: November 04, 2022, 07:18:23 PM
~snip~
This should not be a big deal. Obviously these guys are doing Google CPA for the keyword "VISIT DUELBIT" or only "DUELBIT".
It seems they are a review website and spending their money to get affiliate signup and receive commission.

Edit: After looking closely to everything on the site, I am sure they are only promoting Stake.
But the thing is, they're using Duelbits name wrongly and they're promoting other websites and those domains are also different. It could be harmful for someone who knows Duelbits but searches it on through google and may land into this false advertised website.
From their perspective they are using it to convert Duelbit's users to their affiliate site. It's their goal. In this kind of black-hat CPA marketing, most of the time users close the site but before closing they already clicked the affiliate link which means the browser stored the cookie information for few months (3 to 6 months are standard as far as I know). When the user register to the site using the same browser that the affiliate guy was promoting between the duration, he eventually get that newly registered user as his referral. So in a way, the marketing works.
1853  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betcoin.ag-$4k Sports ROI Leaderboard Promo-BTC ETH XRP LTC XMR USDT DOGE Casino on: November 04, 2022, 07:08:46 PM
You were THIS close buddy! So unfortunate. Even a $1 bet could make you $188+ and if that's a brave one with a $10 then your could have a great weekend :-)
Accumulators are great when your have less number of selections. Increasing selections increase the risk too.

So close!  Fortunately, during week 2 you will get the shot for the win again!  Good luck.
I will be waiting for Mahdirakib to share another slip in the next round. Let's hope he hits the jackpot :-)
1854  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 StarBets.io 🎲 || A Crypto-based iGaming Platform 🎲 on: November 04, 2022, 07:07:03 PM
I think StarBets has a lot of potential, but its current marketing strategy is not doing it any favors. The company needs to step up its game if it wants to compete in this industry and to stand out from other gambling platforms.
How do we know? Maybe they are doing well in other platforms. New casinos really do not pay much attention to the traffic of the community. Sometimes they take time to realize the ways of monetizing the traffic of bitcointalk.

Casinos get hot and quick leads from advertising networks, streaming from influencers, affiliate promoters.
1855  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | on: November 03, 2022, 05:53:38 PM
Edit: After looking closely to everything on the site, I am sure they are only promoting Stake.
They aren't promoting Stake only. The second casino link redirecting to the correct site.
There were three casinos advertised on that homepage and for me all of them had stake as their landing page :-P
1856  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Access to Ledger Nano S (2018 version) without PIN? on: November 03, 2022, 05:46:02 PM
The way I understand it, you do not need the same pin. Pin are just to keep the device locked. All you need is the seed phrase. If you have it then you can use any ledger device with any pin in it and restore the wallet.

The private keys are stored in the Secure Element (SE) of the Nano S: the ST31H320 chip.
The SE is asking for PIN before any action with the keys
What is this SE? Haven't you store your seed in physical form in a paper or any other form?
1857  Economy / Gambling / Re: Galaxy.bet | ⭐ | 🚀 | 🎲 | 🚀 on: November 03, 2022, 02:02:09 PM
Just a waste of money if they do this for short term because it will not give them good result. To many casino owners and all of them failed so planning to make run for long time is much ideal to do. New casino should look after those old successful casino since from there they might acquire an idea on how long they run their campaigns and also expect that they can afford to spend more from it since marketing cost a lot of money but its really worth it if they are consistent.
I have a specific section explaining how to make it effective when it comes to brand awareness in the community.

  F.A.Qs

We have small budget and we need quick ROI:
Building a brand takes time. There are many successful projects who launched on bitcointalk and now they are one of the leaders in their own industry.
Consider Chipmixer. Their weekly budget is 55*$300 which means $16,500 per week.
To build the brand they have been promoting their product since March 2017.

Another example is BestChange. We all know how hard it was for them to even launch their signature campaign. People were tearing them apart just because BestChange team refused to agree with them on escrowing the campaign fund. But today they are one of the best in their own industry because of consistency to build their brand.

We have example of many casino and sportsbooks too. Sportsbet.io, Stake, Fortunejack and many others are constantly spending money on their advertising for years to build their brand. Today all of them are market leaders.

To conclude, if you have a small budget and want a few weeks advertising but expects massive result in return then it's unrealistic. For a successful project, it requires long term advertising plan to monetize the traffic of a community.

What typical weekly budget do you recommend?
$50/week for Hero/Legendary members are considered a low payout since average of signature campaigns pay around $70 for Hero/Legendary members, moreover the campaign already run at least 30+ weeks.

If the @OP want to get high quality posters, he need to give a guarantee at least 6 months the campaign will run and the payment for Hero/Legendary members is $100+
When designing a signature campaign one of the most important aspects a manager needs to consider is the attention the campaign will receive from the community. There are many factors to consider to make a campaign attractive, it's not just the budget. Number of required posts per week plays a big role along with the duration of a campaign. When manager is asking for 25 posts per week and rewarding $50 for it then it's too much to ask considering the ecosystem but if s/he is asking to make 15 posts to reward $50 per week then it's completely okay. The campaign will find many average participants.

Another scenario could be like this: Manager is paying $100 per week and asking to make 50+ posts. S/he will definitely encourage spammers to spam on the boards. The campaign will fail to attract reputable forum members who have influence on different boards, even though it's paying $100 per week. Having high end members also matters for a brand promotion.

A campaign manager needs to consider the project owners psychology too. Most of the project owners are not aware of the behaviors of the community members. For them it's just another place to advertise their platform. So if a manger thinks a project owner is going to spend $16K+ per week straight way like Chipmixer then it's wrong. It completely make sense that project owners will try to start from an economic budget to check the outcome. But in any case the duration can not be compromised if a project wants to create a positive brand awareness.

A project wants to run a campaign with $5k per week budget but only for 4 weeks? They are going to waste the $20k only for few signups. It's the hard reality. After the four weeks everyone will forget about the brand (maybe they will remember it for few more weeks and that's it). But instead, if they spend $1k or even $750 (tight but still) per week and continue the campaign for 20+ weeks they will receive better response. For long five months, members are going to see the brand in front of them and slowly they will start trusting it. The longer a project continue the better influence it starts to create towards the members of the community. The secret for successful projects those are now leading the industry is their long term plan to build a positive value for their own brands.

At the end, the manager and project owners need to balance between them.

I remember hitting a 2000x in demo mode after just 10 spins lol.
Wow 10x spins get 2000x, and the results will be very different after players change to the real mode and the results of the demo mode should not be used as a reference for players to play with real money because they think they will get the same results, demo mode is just for fun or learning the games or when you feel bored and want to play but are in a condition that can't make a deposit

I strongly disagree with you here. Demo mode is programmed exactly the same way the the mode with real money is. It is illegal to do it differently, and reputable slot providers will never do such things.

I like to play in demo mode myself, and from my experience I wouldn't say I'm getting bigger wins in demo mode than in real one.
Have you even felt you are winning in the demo version and so confident about the game. Then you start playing in real version. You start with small and win, you win - lose but the rate of winning is better than the rate of losing. Then you decide to go big. Rest is history :-)
