221  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: December 20, 2016, 05:50:32 AM
I'm not sure if this has been stated before, but why not get a bitcoin debit card and use them in real physical stores to buy clothing? It works, and can even maybe promote bitcoins.

On the contrary, due to fees, it might be better to buy with fiat. However, the feeling of buying something non-digital with bitcoins is always appealing to me!  Cheesy
222  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin exchanger's debit card on: December 20, 2016, 05:46:05 AM
I don't have experience with bitstamp debit card but you can actualy use any other Bitcoin debit card to withdraw your coins. I can recommend Xapo because I.use it for a long time and I could withdraw coins to it from any site or exchanger with no problem. Fees are reasonable and it's accepted everywhere so you could try it.

I agree, is there a specific reason that you want to use bitstamp OP?

If not, go with a more reputable bitcoin debit card service. There are many out there, but you can read reviews of the top 4 services here:

https://www.weusecoins.com/bitcoin-debit-cards/

Good luck!
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Soo, I'm planning on buying €1000 in bitcoins. Yes or no? on: December 20, 2016, 05:44:22 AM
For me, this is kind of a huge investment, but should I actually do it?

What are the risks of doing this?
Yes, becouse if you want to grow your money, bitcoin is really potential for this. But there are still some risk in bitcoin, it is a new concept of payment system and the price is move so wild, you can get so many profit or suffer a financial lost. I also suggest you for only hold your bitcoin until the price rise or if you have a skill to do trade, you can do it.

You don't have to sell when the price decreased anyway. People that are going to invest their money by holding bitcoins should be aware that it would take years before they can get serious amount of profit. Otherwise, they'll be panic selling when there's price decrease. I'm sure that there are some bitcoin holders out there that sells their coins when they see a huge price decrease.

The people that are in it for the the long haul doesn't even care about this price decrease because they know that bitcoin will eventually pick up and continue to rise. Whatever happens within the years that they hold bitcoins is nothing to them since the only thing that is important is the price of bitcoin at the time they bought it and the price of bitcoin at the time that they are going to sell it.

This is true, at least for the moment, I speak from experience.

For example, last year, the price of bitcoin dropped from $600 all the way to $200. A lot of people were really scared, and there were a lot of topics about "the death of bitcoin." Some people even advised me to sell my bitcoins. Now, I'm glad I didn't, because the price is now $785 at the moment and is probably on it's way up.
224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http bci or https bci ??? on: December 20, 2016, 05:41:38 AM
You should always use the https protocol for something important such as handling bitcoins.

2/68 isn't that bad, and is possible an error, or a false alarm. Keep on using the https protocol, as it encrypts your data.

Furthermore, if you google blockchain info, it shows you the https protocol. This means that this is the protocol that they want you to use.
225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we lucky with cloud mine bitcoin now on: December 20, 2016, 05:39:12 AM
Mining bitcoin only worth it if you have such a big mining rigs and cheap cost of electricity. However, if you don't have those things I've mentioned above you can still mine other alternate coins which are still profitable.
Mining is now always about bitcoin but there's also various coins you can mine.
And my opinion about bitcoin mining is it's really not worth it. The difficulties were too hard and halving already occurred therefore the profit you will get will cut in half if you compared to before halving occurred
I won't do it though, for now

I think OP's talking about cloud mining, not physical mining. Either way, it's not much different.

Cloud mining can be profitable, but is more often than not a scam.
Physical mining isn't profitable unless you have many rigs.

Either way, I don't think you should look into any type of mining whatsoever if you are new to bitcoin, and instead look into a different method to make bitcoin.
226  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying GIFT CARDS on: December 20, 2016, 05:33:38 AM
Thanks guys, you've helped me make an informed decision, I needed some gift cards for a few people this xmas at a cheaper cost but this fella doesn't seem real and I'm keeping off this thread.

You can buy gift cards for bitcoin at gyft.com, they are trusted and have been around for a long time. You shouldn't have any problems there.

OP is selling gift cards? If so, why is "buying GIFT CARDS" the title? It's misleading.
227  Economy / Services / Re: hire me to do your Computer Science homework and assignments in Python, C++,Java on: December 20, 2016, 05:32:08 AM
What background and experience do you have in order to complete the job successfully? It's great that you're offering this, but you'll have to elaborate on your qualifications.
228  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hasheer on: December 19, 2016, 04:13:57 AM
Looks a ponzi scheme. Their rates are very high for a legit cloud mining. I suggest you to withdraw any money you have there while you can, because any time they can run away. If a cloud mining is profitable, it's not a cloud mining, it's a ponzi scheme.

This, stay away from cloud mining. If you really want to invest in cloud mining, check out this guide: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=878387.0

(Do note that the guide is not updated anymore, but for now the information should still be relative.)
229  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining without mining hardware? on: December 19, 2016, 04:08:48 AM
Perhaps you could try mining on paper: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3dqhixzGVo

This method is very impractical, and is probably a waste of time. It won't make any profit, and is just for fun.

OP, I'd advise you to not mine without hardware, like others have said. Try looking into a different venture to profit.
230  Economy / Digital goods / Re: christmas prize on: December 19, 2016, 04:02:35 AM
Is there a bug with your site? I visited your site stated in the OP and I can't do anything, it's just a Christmas display. Is this a mistake? If not, what is the purpose of this thread?
231  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: francisdean is a SCAMMER on: December 19, 2016, 04:00:11 AM

This seems really weird, as you can see in the thread you posted, he replied with an empty textbox. Why even bother to reply?

Can you post details of your transaction with francisdean so we have proof that you bought something from him? PM screenshots would also help.
232  Economy / Services / Re: Need visitors/traffic to my blog on: December 19, 2016, 03:38:28 AM
the best can get much trffict ,low cost and fast
you can use traffic exchange, sample hitleap, revenuehitz and more

I don't think OP is looking for just page views, he wants interaction with his site.

As for ad networks to promote your blog, try anonymous ads or bitmedia.io. They are both reputable ad networks that accept bitcoin. Good luck!
233  Economy / Services / Re: [HIRING] Make 3 Minutes of Unique Music and get paid! on: December 19, 2016, 03:33:04 AM
What kind of music are you looking for? Music is a broad topic, there are so many different types of genres. Also, how are you going to use these tracks? Are you looking for background music, or video game music? Or just personal listening? You'll have to elaborate more.
234  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Interested in buying a profitable bitcoin casino on: December 18, 2016, 05:41:31 PM
Do you want to buy an already reputable, up and running casino, or would you be willing to buy a script? If you want to buy an up and running casino, try emailing the casino's support to see if they would be interested.
235  Economy / Services / Re: Facebook, Google ad agency account for rent on: December 18, 2016, 05:37:47 PM
This thread sounds very similar like this one here... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1717527

Like I mentioned in the other thread, these services don't really make sense. Why can't we just create our own account? It's not like we need to go through an approval process or anything.
236  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: End of FaucetBox [addendum] on: December 18, 2016, 05:36:11 PM
Another alternative would be to pay users directly through the blockchain API, that way you don't have to go through a payment processor.

However, choosing out of the three, I'd probably pick faucethub as the owner is well known and active around the forum.
237  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to create bitcoin ads network? on: December 18, 2016, 06:57:05 AM
if you ask this question, you should not do it.

Yes, unfortunately OP, if you don't know basic code, you shouldn't start an ad network as it is a complicated system.

However, if you really want, you can hire a developer like some other people have stated. There are also people selling pre-made scripts, (For example, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1219316.0). I cannot vouch for their legitimacy though.

Maybe learn some code, and come back, or work with a friend who knows how to code. Good luck!
238  Other / Archival / Re: Selling a few domains, A few 3-4 characters long! on: December 18, 2016, 06:44:30 AM
It's great that you are trying to sell your domains, but most of them don't make sense. For example, kard.pw. What does that mean? Most people will buy a domain that means something and that can be promoted.

Good luck!
239  Economy / Digital goods / Re: buying reddit account on: December 18, 2016, 06:39:23 AM
I can sell you a 1 year old account, let me know what you are willing to pay. Does the account need a certain amount of karma, or not?
240  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Faucet Software on: December 18, 2016, 06:37:24 AM
I think OP is trying to make 0.01 quick, which is why he is trying to ask for faucets with 0.01 in an hour.

As a faucet owner, FlamingFingers is correct. There is no way a faucet can sustain 0.01 an hour.

OP, if you want to make 0.01, try selling some of your old stuff or a skill in the services subforum. Good luck!
