381  Economy / Gambling / Re: [JUST LAUNCHED] DiceVsDice BTC Gambling Site #1 Player Vs Player BTC Game on: October 30, 2016, 04:29:55 AM
How can we be so sure if the player am playing is not a bot? Is there a prove this game is fair?
I was wondering the same!

Since the game's luck based, bots cannot be used as using them wouldn't do anything, as due to the game being purely luck, they wouldn't affect the outcome of the game at all.

However, I would suggest OP to make a way to verify that our bets are provably fair, that would be a nice feature to have and would probably attract more players.

Another prediction:

Game: CSGO
Match: Selfless vs QuetzaL
Prediction: Selfless ML

I would bet medium here on Selfless, as on QuetzaL, MarkE is the only player that really stands out, but I don't think he's anywhere as good as the Selfless fraggers. Bet medium on Selfless.

Unfortunately, this bet got postponed, so we didn't get to see the results. My earlier bet on FaZe also lost, I am a bit disappointed in FaZe.

Game: CSGO
Match: G2 vs SK
Prediction: SK ML

I'd say it's pretty safe to bet on SK here, as they are the best team in the world. G2 has talent, but they haven't been performing lately, losing to lower ranked teams. Bet medium on SK.

Looks like I was correct in my prediction, SK won 2-1!

Game: CSGO
Match: OpTic vs Liquid
Prediction: OpTic ML

Liquid just lost their coach, who was a big reason to their success in Cologne and NY. OpTic is doing very well right now, and while being the underdog, I do believe that they have a very good chance of beating Liquid based on their recent past games performance. Bet low-medium on OpTic.

It was a very close match, but unfortunately Liquid won.

Game: CSGO
Match: FaZe vs NRG
Prediction: FaZe ML

FaZe has a new roster, recently acquiring Karrigan from Astralis. NRG is a low tier team compared to Faze, so I think without an upset, Faze should be able to win quite easily. Bet medium on Faze.
383  Economy / Gambling / Re: [JUST LAUNCHED] DiceVsDice BTC Gambling Site #1 Player Vs Player BTC Game on: October 28, 2016, 04:06:27 AM
Pretty neat game, I think it definitely has potential!

However, I think you need to create more lobbies. One $10 lobby might not appeal to everyone, they might want to bet small at first to test out your site. Good luck!
384  Economy / Gambling / Re: is freebitco.in or freedogeco.in worth my time? on: October 28, 2016, 03:56:00 AM
I think that the site is a fun way to get some small amounts of bitcoin, but of course, you won't be able to make a living off of freebitco.in. If you are lucky, you can win the lottery, which I think can be a good profit.

Man, in my point of view this webpagew don't worth the time you spend using (surfing) it. I mean, this faucet with lottery is a good strategy for ads and the domain name contributes a lot, so, the admin of this site pays almost nothing and win sure he win (more than nothing... Just take a look into the statistics in seo analytics). So that's what I think about this kinda "system".

Actually, while freebitco.in might look huge now, and nowadays the owner probably makes a decent profit, the owner probably put in a lot of work to get freebitco.in to the point where it is now. Running a faucet isn't all fun and games, and while it looks easy, I assure you it is not.
385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: October 28, 2016, 03:34:05 AM
What is the definition of being good at gambling? I guess when you gain profits from it, right?
SO when you see that someone is claiming he is "good at dice" because he won some high bet or had series of lucky bets, what are your reaction?
Do you really believe than aomeone can be good at totally random based games?

There is no such thing as being "good at dice", whoever is betting is just lucky. No one can be good at luck based games without hacking or exploiting, just lucky.

However, if someone is good at poker or sports betting, that's what I would consider as "good at gambling", as you need skill for those games.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best bitcoin casinos with easy registration? on: October 28, 2016, 03:31:13 AM
Try playing at nitrogensports.eu; they automatically create an account for you. It is not only a sportsbook; they have blackjack, dice, and poker!
387  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Showers Dice - Get Free Satoshis And Multiply Them By Playing Dice! on: October 28, 2016, 03:18:04 AM
There is something odd.
When I claim it said that I have got 200 satoshis. Then after a few seconds, I tried to claim again using the same wallet address and it's said that Duplicate IP Detected. It should show the time when I can claim again, right?

Same thing happens to me,and I use same BTC address so this is not problem with two different BTC address claiming on same IP.I also try to withdraw 200 satoshi but minumum withdraw is now 500 satoshi so it is not possible to save balance and if that is not possible then balance is lost.

Do I missing something here or?

That's weird, I have made a change to the script, see if it works now. Let me know on how it goes!

I need to have 500 satochi before I can send it to my faucetbox ?

And yes, the withdraw limit is necessary to prevent bots. The withdraw limits makes you play, so bots can't just come, claim, and withdraw.

Except the reduced withdrawal limit from 500 satoshi to 400 satoshi I do not see any change as to the issues that I have described.Faucet pay 200 satoshi which can not be withdraw and balance can not be saved.

So only thing we can do is to play with that 200 satoshi and if we have luck to get 200 satoshi more then we can withdraw that balance to FaucetBOX.

If it is set up to work like this then there is no problem, first claim-then play-if you get lucky to reach 400 satoshi then withdraw.

I've stated that this is how it works; the withdraw limit is there to prevent bots just coming, claiming, and withdrawing. This ensures that you have to play first before you withdraw.

The fix I made was regarding the "duplicate IP" error reported by alfaboy, please try out my site and see if it has been fixed.

Yes you fix that error with duplicate IP.Now if I try to claim again there is no such message, but there is also no any message for user to know time for next claim.

I try to bet with my 200 satoshi and unfortunately I lost.Better luck next time Smiley

Thanks for testing, I'll try to implement that feature!
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In what gambling games are you good at? on: October 27, 2016, 06:30:36 AM
I can't say that I'm better at any particular games, but I think the odds improve when betting on sports games where you can do some research on the teams. Games like dice are just games of chance with no way to improve odds.

That is true. In sports betting, we all have a better chance to win compared all other casino games which need only luck to win money. But now a day due to a lot of match fixes in sports betting made tough to guess the results very accurately just based on players past performance. So now we need some luck to support guessing in sports betting as well.
it would just useless if someone didn't even like to gamble on sports , they would prefer to remain gambling on a games like dice , roulette etc. so yeah gamble on what you have passion on. don't force yourself to gamble on something better like sports but you don't even have ability to do that..

True, but some people gamble for profit and don't realize that the house edge will not let them profit in the long run, when they could be playing sports betting which has no house edge which enables you to profit.

If you are playing for fun, don't play sports betting if you don't like it, but if you want to profit, play sports betting. Even if you don't know much about sports, you can follow a tipster on the forum.
389  Economy / Gambling / Re: For the favor of the players on: October 27, 2016, 06:28:14 AM
It's very true that casinos are able to buy their positions on site rankings, however I feel that user rankings can also be unreliable, as casinos can just pay users instead of the ranking site, or the users might write a negative review due to losing on the site, even if the site is provably fair.

Perhaps the owner should weigh the site in addition to user reviews? That would probably be the best option.
390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and mystic on: October 27, 2016, 06:23:50 AM
I don't know whether it has something to do with  mystic, but gambling a lot I've noticed this: when gambling with 50% win chance you have already had 10 consecutive losses and you are almost 100% sure that you will hit the right number in the next 2 bets (which is also reasonable becuase you are betting with 50% win chance), you are losing those 2 bets too, always. Although I know this from my own experience I can't stop myself from betting being in exactly this situation. Isn't that a mystical thing?

I think this is more of a psychological rather than a mystical thing, as it is completely reasonable losing 12 bets in a row on 50/50 chance because of the house edge. You can check your bets with the provably fair option if you are unsure.

No, no I'm not unsure or anything like that. I know that the numbers are completely random and I know that the game is provably fair and that I can check any bet. I'm just talking about this feeling that you will definitely win in the next 2 or 3 bets and for that reason you are risking big amounts and you lose them.

Oh yes, definitely, this happens to me as well. I think it's because we pay much more attention when we bet big, as opposed to when we bet on small amounts, so it feels like we lose every time we bet big. For example, I don't care much whether I win or lose when playing with faucet money, but I get very nervous and pay close attention to big bets. That, or the site is just cleverly rigged.
391  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diggit.io | Over Dice? | Brand new game! | 800+ BTC Invested! | 1% Edge on: October 27, 2016, 06:04:32 AM
is this site dead or is it my ip?
The site is both dead and had been turned into a scam. IIRC, owner left with the funds a while back
thanks for the update. that was one of my best sites though. hope someone picks up the layout idea and starts a new one

Many alternatives to diggit have popped up, try out satoshimines.com or cryptogames.io. They are both provably fair bitcoin minesweeper games.
392  Economy / Gambling / Re: Fantasy Football on: October 27, 2016, 06:01:08 AM
that would be nice  Shocked
i've played fantasy football sometimes but never heard of a online fantasy football accepting bitcoin... maybe it is a good business idea.

I don't think the demand is high enough at the moment, which is why there are no bitcoin fantasy football sites.

For the moment, OP, why not just play with fiat? You can change your bitcoin into fiat. Many people play fantasy football, and it is 100% legal as the US Federal Administration considers fantasy sports a game of skill and that is why most states in the US offer fantasy sports as opposed to banning online gambling.

394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Graduate student conducting betting survey for thesis-please help! on: October 26, 2016, 05:26:31 AM
Just a suggestion, if you don't get enough replies, perhaps you can open a thread in the "Services" subforum of bitcointalk and offer a small bitcoin incentive to fill out your survey. I'm sure that lots of people would participate if you did this. Good luck OP with your thesis!

Normally it shouldn't be a big problem to find enough people to help fill in a survey, especially for a graduate project.

If the only incentive is money it not really how it should be imo.

TS, good luck with your survey and thesis!

Yes, of course money shouldn't be the only incentive, but at the time of my reply, OP had 0 replies and no one had completed the survey. Glad to see him getting replies!

If you need even more replies OP, there are other sites as well where you can post such as reddit, hope you have all the info you need!
395  Economy / Gambling / Re: Boiled Brains - new game on: October 26, 2016, 05:25:00 AM
I thinking about sending e-mail to other players when any player will be online. But I don't want to be spammer. What do you think about it?

You could just show it on the site itself which players are currently online, which of them are waiting and which are now playing. Indeed, you should also set a rather small inactivity timeout after which the player should be logged off so as not to confuse those looking for an opponent. Sending unsolicited e-mails is a big no-no, obviously.

I really like this, perhaps you could add a live chat feature as well?

A revange button after you lose to bet the same player again

While this idea is interesting, I don't like this option, as perhaps your opponent doesn't want to gamble more or wants to stop for the day. I think this could be implemented, but with the option for the person challenged to decline playing again.

397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: October 26, 2016, 05:15:20 AM
How to make a decent amount with 0.01BTC  in good time? Any good strategy or any method? Or any tips please?
i will suggest you to earn some more btc and then start trading at the trading sites like polonix , yobit , bitrax etc . this will turn your Profit in a better amount but you need to first take some better knowledge about the better trading of bitcoin with altcoins .

Honestly, for a newbie, altcoin trading can be even more detrimental than gambling, so I wouldn't recommend it as it is very complicated. Also, 0.01 isn't easy to make a profit from trading. OP should look into obtaining more bitcoins through another method, and when he gets more, invest.
398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a good amount with 0.01BTC? on: October 25, 2016, 05:26:49 AM
There is a way to earn 0.01 but it need a lot of bankroll and it is very risky, if you got that momey to play you can try to bet 0.1 btc with 90 % chance of winning and if you are losing then you need to bet 1.1 btc to cover the lost, so wvery lost you need to 1100% from your previous bet

its better if he bet it all in YOLO bet, and take chances, since 90% odds will only bring dust and his bankroll will lose more in the long run

Exactly this, 90% will just draw it out and feed someone's addiction and make it grow due to excess gambling. However, this depends on the person, and losing it all in one bet might also fuel their addiction, and others won't be affected by addiction at all. Just know what is right for you.

I wouldn't even suggest trying to gain major profit with 0.01, save it for a different time, or just play for fun.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and mystic on: October 25, 2016, 05:20:28 AM
This still happening in my country, many people try to win a lottery by using mystic ways. Something like ask lucky numbers from shaman or by doing meditation in a haunted place in a hope that the ghost will give them lucky numbers. It sounds crazy and out of logic, I my self do not believe it but I'm so surprised that it is still being done by some people.
I guess they are only people who are so frustated in gambling, had lost much money and want to win it back plus some profit.
ys mate because of desperation chasing their money back they will try all the resources which is available to make some wins and even its not logical or there's no relevance between being lucky and using any spells or something guess from shaman i really amazed that i can still see this kind of topic here but if there's still someone who uses it like what you've said its just something as a desperate move.

That's true, if the shaman could predict lucky numbers 100% of the time, why wouldn't he predict the lottery numbers every single time and profit off the lottery? It just doesn't add up. There are some cases of extremely lucky cases where people have gotten winning numbers from a dream or something similar, but the authenticity of these claims can be questioned, and if they did happen, it doesn't happen to everybody.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Matched betting (risk free) with bitcoins? on: October 25, 2016, 05:17:53 AM
In general this is true only if:

1. You are living in Class A country.
2. You are willing to provide all bookies your ID and Utility bill for KYC procedure.
3. It's only applicable once per bookie. Only in FIAT bookies. Only with KYC procedures.

So in Class A country you could make 1K-3K once per set of documents.

Also, even if you live in a class A country but you live in a place other than the UK, it's hard to profit from matched betting, as most fiat sportsbooks don't let Americans play, and there are no options for bitcoin.

Matched betting is a very good way to profit, but not everyone can do it, which is why online casinos aren't out of business.
