I'm really wondering what caused that stain. The scan looks messed up but the coin looks fine in the photos you've posted.
None of the second batch of images appear to show the problem. My guess is that the CGS image is not a scan, but a regular photo... and something was in the background partially blocking a light source or causing an odd reflection. I would have to agree with you about that being a reflection. If the hologram looked that bad the other pictures would show it. I still think it is a waste of time and money sending them into CGS UK for grading. ANACS is clearly the golden standard we use (I know ANACS is not the greatest, but they are the best that will grade for us). Yep. And now that I am taking a closer look at the CGS photo of the obverse, there is clearly a dark spot at the top. Same-ish size and shape, and same location as the one on the reverse. Pretty confident now this is shite photography of on the part of CGS and not representative of the coin. OP, good luck on the sale. Price might be a bit ambitious, but not totally unreasonable. I sold an ANACS MS65 error recently for about your asking. I met OP this afternoon to view this in person. I am 100% confident that there is no issue whatsoever with this coin, and the fault lies with the CGS scan in this case. A deal has been made for the coin. |

Please explain what you mean by Original Gold or Silver. The Kialara Original is the original (series 1). Later, he came out a second series. Later again, he came out with Gold and Silver version. Then, he came out with the 'Art' bars. I know someone with All versions. That said, the Gold is the most limited and unlikely to be sold (unless offered an obscene amount). Hi Michail The Kialaras wanted were the Gold - 100 made, and the Silver - 250 made. A couple of sellers came on the market and offered one each for sale, these sold instantly. With Max opening ordering on the website we did manage to grab some Silvers. They are now sold out. I will agree that the Gold is the one to own. It is a very limited and desired object, and not many have appeared on the secondary market as yet. People are still trying to work out what they are worth |

I didnt disappear. You disappeared. Although you are the seller and should find an escrow person, you asked me to. So I found two people to do escrow, but you refused. I told you I was going on vacation without internet for 8 days. I just happened to have a local hotspot at this moment. But please don't tell lies on this thread. I may be mistaken, but usually it is up to the buyer on what escrow to use and set it up. Regardless - OP, did you refuse windjc's choice of escrow, and if so, why? I was about to ask the same question. There are only a few trustworthy escrow users to choose from, and they are indeed that - trustworthy, so to see the OP refuse two of them is a bit off. I'd like to know who was suggested, along with their reasons for refusing. |
