2061  Economy / Reputation / Re: You are welcome to tell me how much i suck! (including butthurt form report) on: August 09, 2016, 02:09:44 PM
i am feeling butthurt because it hurts my feelings. should i fill out the buthurt report? The people from the inderwebz are sooooo mean.
Yes please.

I have decided to submit a completed butthurt report form on behalf of all of the scammers of bitcointalk, just for the fuck of it Tongue
All the options have been filled in, with the exception of a few. There are notes alongside the exceptions.

  • They and their ilk deserve to be rounded up and herded into concentration camps.
  • There should be laws to punish people like that.

  • It was Vod.
  • It was Quickseller.
  • It was Lutpin ( a needed addition )
  • All of the above.
(Note: There is no proof Vod is an alt of QS or the other way around! ) ( The same applies with the Lutpin addition )

DID YOU TAKE ANY ACTIONS YOURSELF REGARDING THE BUTTHURT?

[ ] I wrote a six thousand word response detailing the extent of my butthurt and posted it in Meta. too much work.
  • I sent an incoherent flame and -ve them and you from newbie accounts.
[ ] I used a spam program to send them multiple flame emails. can you teach us these things?
[ ] I organized a DDoS attack on bitcointalk.org. - same as above ^^ ?
[ ] I got all my bestest friends together and organized a flamewar and -ve campaign. what friends?
  • I am using all my alt accounts for the specific purpose of flaming this person and/or you.
[ ] I posted this person's RL information everywhere that I could think of; they'll get a Molotov cocktail through their bedroom window sooner or later. That'll teach 'em to mess with me. we have tried, unsuccesfully I might add, to get dox. we have failed. this causes extreme butthurt.
  • I will scream at Default Trust members to -ve you, also mods, also Theymos!
[ ] I realized that arguing on the internet is usually pointless and found something else to do with my time. need to find something to do with our time if we cant scam, yaknow?

2063  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Titan Bitcoin 0.5 BTC - Normal/Silver - Private Key Version on: August 08, 2016, 05:32:57 PM
BTCump..

I am still looking for these..

If you have either of the 0.5BTC coins from Titan that you are willing to trade, or sell, send me a PM.

Thanks

BTCump..

Two forum members have told me they have these coins, but so far have failed to mention prices.

Therefore I am still looking for these.

Thanks

I tried as well, with I guess the same 2 forum members but no prices yet.
I guess they may pop up for auction...

I'm also looking for the two 0.5 as well as a 0.1 (Private Key Versions with COAs)

I am going to go out on a limb as well and assume they are the same Cheesy

I have now managed to obtain these coins through another source.
I will let you know if there are any spare, coin@coin.

Thread closed.

I'd like that one with the 1 extra satoshi... Would you take 0.80 BTC for it?

I have a few coins with satoshis added to them. I know of other people that do as well Smiley

Check your PM Spectre... I am in the UK too.

Sure, my phone isn't great at taking pictures of stuff up close but these are a bit better. For the coin faces I actually carefully removed the cap (I didn't touch the coin itself to do this).

Thanks for the pics spectre Smiley

As a newbie, you cannot upload pictures unfortunately. This is done to reduce spam.
It doesn't take long for the restriction to be removed though from what I recall.

Can you please take some more pictures? Sorry for being a pain in the ass, but I would like better pics.
By better, I mean - close ups of the coin and the hologram please. I cannot tell if the marks I see on the hologram side are on the capsule, or the coin.
Can you give us pics of all the coins you have to sell? So if you have 2 x 0.5's, please take close up photos of both.

Also let myself and eddie13 know what you are wanting for them. If you only have one, then eddie13 has first dibs.

Thanks Smiley

edit: also please state where you are located/sending these from.

Hi there,

I have some 1 and 0.5 BTC Casascius 2013 coins I can sell you, they aren't graded though, but they are in great condition. The day they turned up I put them straight in to protective cases and have literally never taken them out. Let me know if you're interested!

Cheers
Joe

Could you possibly take a photo or two of the coins you have available, along with your BitcoinTalk username and the current date?
Not saying you aren't being truthful, but this forum sees it's fair share of scammers!

Edit: Beat me to it Wink

eddie13, remember to use escrow if you guys come to an agreement Smiley

spectre1989: it might be worth your while uploading some pics. I would be interested in a 0.5 as well. For the right price.

Yeah I want the brass half because it fits my budget..

Okay, good to know, thanks Smiley

Quote from: eddie13

So the premium over the BTC spot price for a 1 vs a .5 is basically the same, spot + .25-.3 wih the 1btc coins being maybe a bit less premium and easier to come by..

Everyones opinion varies here, and the premiums are very different for all the coins Casascius made, and they adjust again depending on how they graded ( if they are graded ).
For example, a Series 3 Silver 0.5 has a premium of multiple times its' face value.
A 10BTC All Silver or Silver with Gilding is worth anything upwards of 17BTC for a coin in mint condition.
A 2013 1 BTC Brass will have a very low premium over face value, so ~1.3BTC and maybe a bit more depending on the condition.
Graded coins will be a little more.
I would say the price of ~0.89 for a good condition Brass Half is a more reasonable assumption of its' worth, than the price I paid for mine.

Edit: I see that you currently have 0.811 to spend. Hmmm.
Does the coin have to be a Casascius? 0.811 is not going to be enough to pick up a slabbed brass half. You will need a bit more BTC.

I could maybe squeeze out/liquidate another .1 - .15 BTC but it would be paypal from there on and that's prolly not going to happen..

Has to be Casascius, doesn't have to be slabbed..

If I was in your shoes, and somehow could get an extra 0.5 together, my choice would be to go for a 2013 Brass 1BTC coin.
These are relatively easy to get, unlike the half. Both coins make a great entry into the world of physical crypto.
Premium wise - these 2 coins are about as best value as you are going to get for a Casascius.

Me too Sad Pretty pissed that it has gone missing, to say the least.
I'll actually update that thread. Apologies for the derail eddie13.

I just read that thread and was all "DAMN I want that!!"

No problm at all..

That specific coin went for less than it should have done, I would say. It was rather the exception, than the norm.

You say that you want a Casascius 0.5BTC Coin. Is this because of budget, or are you specifically after a Brass Half? If your budget is low, then going for a brass half might be a good idea. If your budget is higher, you can get more bang for your buck.
If you can afford a bit more, I know of some Casascius 2013 Brass 1BTC coins going for less than 1.3BTC each..
if you are after premium coins, there are also some ANACS Graded Casascius Silver 0.5BTC Coins floating around ( not on the forum, but can be arranged ). They demand a much higher premium than the brass, and are therefore more expensive.
Is this something you would be interested in? Let me know if you want a picture of an example of one of the Silver 0.5's from Casascius.

Edit: I see that you currently have 0.811 to spend. Hmmm.

So i had to give up my bid because of some shipping issues..

Anyone else is welcome to take the coin , it's pretty clean and i have bought worse for alot more than this

Thanks

I have agreed to buy this coin from OP. I am arranging escrow currently. Will update when more info is available.

Cheers,

~Z

Update.

I used escrow for this coin through OgNasty.

1John8Lare posted the coin with DHL on July 27th from Germany according to the tracking details supplied.
Unfortunately, the coin has not turned up. I am in the UK.
The tracking seems to be stuck, and does not show the package moving at all - actually, the last update to the tracking was when OP dropped off the coin.
OP has been in communication, and advised that he will be chasing this up with DHL this week.

Fingers crossed it arrives soon. But it doesn't look promising Sad

Thanks,
Zepher

This is all true. The cheapest ungraded brass 2013 .5 I can find right now is from wtbbs - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1529099.0

(I Just bought the first one from him, and I also bought the one from woodson for .89 the other day, as Z mentioned).

I have never seen any ungraded 2013 .5 brass go for less than .8 myself... They are becoming harder to find too.

Thanks

This First Batch Brass Half was bought by myself for 0.745BTC.
I have not actually received the coin yet, it has gone walkabouts... but that is a separate matter entirely Smiley

 Undecided

Did you use escrow?

Yep, used escrow through OgNasty. So at least my funds are safe.
But I want the coin Cry
