@blazed: ok, will ship to bg4 as he provided shipping details already. I got those bonus coins as compensation and some of the participant tipped me. So I guess it's all fine. Post an address so the rest of us can send you a small tip for your time and efforts Edit: @L6E - Need to clear something up. You mentioned at some stage that the proceeds from those extra coins were going to charity. Is this the case? If so, then am happy to give you a tip. If you are keeping the money from the auction of those 10 coins, I think you are doing quite well already

Well, no one can complain now. It's been completely removed from the site.
There was only 6 for sale anyway. All 6 have now been purchased. The remainder of the 10 or 11 they said they had, will be auctioned on the forum.

Impossible to get one on the site. It appeared at 11:01 but was sold out once in the cart...
Yep, the same thing had happened here. Yep, here as well. Now some people have managed to get 2? This has really turned out fair... It truly is a race to get the coins for this sale price from the store. I'm offering to sell the coin I bought before the auctions begin. There are less than 100 of these made, so it's really hard to estimate the auction price. I may sell this for higher than auction price, or lower. But I am now offering this possibility to secure one of these coins before the auctions begin. Fair, right? Fair? This is what you call fair?? You exploit a flaw in the system to get the very first coin, somehow get "lucky" enough to get another one - you then go and sell them to private buyers at inflated prices to line your own pockets - and then you manage to get yet ANOTHER coin as well?! You call this fair?? Right.
I have been trying, like everyone else, to get one of these coins at the allotted time. There is no chance in hell that a human is making those coins disappear so quickly. This is a script. End of. And until it is proven differently, my stance on that remains firm.

Hi All, I bought the 3 silver coins from a guy on the east coast. He had a good reputation in a couple of forums with people vouching for him, etc. He was more worried about me since I had no history. I was just looking for collectibles. I gave him some assurances and we did the deal. All went well. They are beautiful coins. He said he did not open the coins and got them direct from Mike Cadwell. I believed him. The silver coins have the gold plating. The three graded brass coins came from a reputable coin dealer in New Jersey. I was comfortable buying online from them. So, Saturdays are crazy with my kids schedules. I have to run out again to pickup and drop off kids at ballet rehearsals. It's Nutcracker season. I will try to figure our Imgur this evening. I am open to using an escrow company/person from this forum. Or, if someone has a good reputation and wants the whole lot, I may consider two smaller deals without escrow. But, it depends on the buyer. I don't want to figure out the btc wallet. I am sure it is super easy. But I find USD easy too. Thanks. If you don't want to figure out the BTC wallet, and you still want to sell these on the forum, then your best bet is to deal with Blazed, who has commented above. Speak to him by PM, make a deal, post him the coins, and he will make you a cash payment in one form or another. I cannot think of anyone else on the forum who will give you $. I think all of us will vouch for Blazed. Get us some pics later on, and shoot him a message. Sure you will be able to work something out!

Wait what!? The watch weighs 500 grams? So like over a pound? Are you sure that's right? I would have to think it would be more like 50 grams wouldn't it? What is it made of?
There is no way in hell that watch weighs 500g. As you have said, more likely 50g or so. This is an obvious scam, be it a "legitimate" one. Reel people in with a great price for a great looking product, but don't mention the cost of shipping. Notice how the cost of the watch was mentioned instantly, but it took several requests to get the OP to mention the price of shipping? This is because they are trying to delay making it public to make their offer seem attractive for longer. The OP makes very little money off of the actual watch here - the shipping is where he makes his money. Notice that even at $32 for shipping to the UK, that insurance is not even included in that? It is "optional", and therefore adds even more to the cost. So, how much for the added insurance then, OP? A breakdown if you were in the UK and wanted to buy 5 watches. Watch x 5 @ $6 = $30 Shipping x 5 @ $32 = $160 Insurance x 5 @ = $ ? Not such a bargain now, is it? ikydesu - you have tried this at the wrong place. Most bitcoiners are not stupid, as much as you wish they were. Not many people are likely to fall for your pathetic attempt at this "legit scam". Either do things properly, as in charge ~$20 for a watch with real shipping costs, or don't bother at all. As for me, I am no longer interested in these. I am not prepared to deal with a user that uses shady tactics like this. To everyone else: If you are going to deal with this user, make sure you use escrow. Yes, he has admitted to being okay with that, but don't let that lull you into a false sense of security and deciding to send the money straight to him. Check his trust. Stay safe. Zepher

Yes, that's around 21 USD. Yes 21 USD/500 gram or per watch.
If you order 5 watches it's counted 1kg, because the box shipping can be split, for reduce the weight, but its still safety.
I'm sorry bro, but 21 USD for shipping a single watch is too much in my opinion. The watch costs 6 USD. Can you look into alternate logistics providers to lower your cost? LOL! So... $6 per watch, but you want $21 $32 shipping PER watch on top of that?! Hahahaha. Good luck with your sales. I am not paying those prices, and I don't think anyone else will either. Edit: thanks cryptoheadd

I would have liked to order a few of these as well, but checking OP's trust has made me a little wary, so I will go the escrow route if I do make a purchase.
I know the amount is insignificant, but better safe than sorry. How much is shipping to the UK? I'll take 5 of these if the price is economical.
Thanks
Just checked his trust. Yes, you're right. OP, are you open to using an escrow? If so, I'll take around 5 of these as well. Yeah, need to be cautious OP, if you will accept the use of escrow (I will pay the fee) then I would like to take 5 of these please. Again, how much is shipping to the UK?? Thanks

Hey,
Is 85k IDR around 0.01 btc? If so, I'd like to order on or two of these watches.
Also, can you please give me a quote for shipping these to India?

Welcome to the forum! We all love Casascius coins, so you have come to the right place! As others have suggested, please upload some pictures of your coins (along with a note with the current date and your forum username) to Imgur and make a post with the links. One of us will then show the images for you. As for escrow, usually the seller and buyer would choose a mutually agreeable person on the forum to act as escrow in a deal - not a company. There are a number of people on this forum that are trusted to act as that third party - such as Blazed, OgNasty, and minerjones, to name a few. Nearly all deals made on this forum are in bitcoin, and not fiat currency such as US dollars, unless you are able to arrange a face to face meeting with a trusted forum user from your part of the USA. If someone sends you a message asking you to meet for a face to face deal, make sure you do some due diligence to ensure they are legit. You have some valuable coins there, and you are new here - be wary of scammers. Have you ever used a bitcoin wallet before? As this would likely be required for you to sell these (as this is how you will be paid). If you then wanted dollars, you would send those bitcoins to an exchange such as Circle or Coinbase for example, where you can cash out into US $. Bear in mind that registering with these entities requires AML/KYC checks - so you will have to prove your identity and link a bank account/debit card to cash out. It is a lot easier if you had all of this set up already. May I ask how you obtained these coins? Did you buy them on this forum, direct from Mike Caldwell (Casascius), or did you use somewhere like eBay? As for the values of these coins, here is a rough estimate. Your Casascius All Silver 1 BTC coins are not worth 3.5 BTC in current market conditions unfortunately. Ungraded Silvers have been selling for around 2 BTC each lately, maybe a little less depending on the quality. Some high graded ones have even gone for less than that recently. 2 BTC is ~$1,430 as of the time of this post. Your MS63/65/65 Casascius 2013 0.5 BTC Brass coins are worth around 0.7-0.75 BTC each, maybe a little more depending on a few factors. If those coins were graded by ANACS a good while ago, then they could potentially grade higher if sent back. This would increase the value of them slightly. A rough estimate of value for an ungraded 2013 Brass 0.5 BTC in US $ is around ~$500 - $550 each. Again, we need the pictures to give you a better idea of value, this is just a rough valuation. All in all, you have around 8.1-8.5 BTC worth of value across your 6 coins - which is roughly $5,750-$6,000, for all of them. Getting cash is going to be hard, unless you put them on eBay. If you know how to use a bitcoin wallet, this will be much easier for you. If you don't, selling your coins on this forum will be difficult, unless you find a trustworthy member in your area who will meet you and pay you cash for them. Hope this post helped! Looking forward to seeing the pictures Cheers

I would love to pick up one of these to round out my collection of BTCC coins. Sucks they do not ship to the USA when they have buyers here that have purchased a lot of coins via proxy I think the ones that will be auctioned on the forum may be shipped to the US as in previous cases. But better double check when the auction start. Tried again today to grab one from the store but no luck!!! Yep, me as well. No luck from here either. Think we might end up having to fight at auction for one of these
