11222  Other / Meta / Re: My account masterzino is hacked on: July 01, 2015, 06:45:28 AM
Just left the seller a negative feedback on selling hacked account. However since I'm not in the default trust, I'll remove the feedback once a trusted member give him a negative trust.

11224  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Record breaking block: 363270 on: July 01, 2015, 04:24:54 AM
It is because the stress test is in progress and block 363266 is an empty block, making many tx stuck there... BTW today will be a memorable day because of this record, stating that bitcoin is at a new level!
11225  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking .5 loan on: July 01, 2015, 03:30:41 AM
Serious Inquirys only.

To the Trolls , I don't want to hear why you think I will not find anyone to help me. Keep that to yourselves. mmmmmmmmk
If you don't want any you-think-trolls (however they aren't - just you think we are) to post in your thread, you may start a self-moderated topic, and normally no one will post in your thread and only serious ones will post. However I think that there mustn't be anyone lending you that much.
Thanks , that's all I needed Smiley
So what?
11226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next level Bitcoin stress test -- June 29-30 13:00 GMT 2015 on: July 01, 2015, 03:23:01 AM
I don't think we should be so quick to give credit for today's test to the OP, he has made zero announcements anywhere about it, which is out of character for him. Could have easily been someone else or multiple different people, especially since the majority of transactions had no fee and the bursts of spam came at random times.

In any case it's over, mempool clearing out. I've had no problems sending and receiving Bitcoin even when the mempool was at peak levels. Paid 3 cents per transaction and it was not delayed at all.

There certainly were delays for many.  I had a payment to me delayed by several hours---but this wasn't as bad as when I got caught in the "test" last week and had a delay of 11 hours.  But if we shouldn't give credit to the OP, the who should we give it to?  Something was clearly going on.  11K unconfirmed transactions (which I witnessed earlier today) isn't the norm.
Me too... I supposed to have my payout from my sig. campaign few hours ago, however it is still unconfirmed until I've sent my transaction with extra fees (I've paid 20000 satoshis for just a 3xx byte tx!) and the sig. campaign's payment and my payment confirms in the same block, with my tx just after the sig. campaign's tx (so all the participants should thank me for paying extra fees to let their tx to be confirmed Smiley). I think such tests should stop immediately, and none of them should be carried anymore. Please stop spamming the blockchain.
11227  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed report on user kralle on: July 01, 2015, 03:11:31 AM

11228  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking .5 loan on: July 01, 2015, 02:21:32 AM
Seeking: .5 loan
Collateral: BTCTalk or BTCJam account.
Interest: .007 / day
Length: 30 days max

Send To Address: 1GM6bEdzJdZN535cwposfRoFfiqk1YgBQf

Serious Inquirys only.

To the Trolls , I don't want to hear why you think I will not find anyone to help me. Keep that to yourselves. mmmmmmmmk
First, your account don't worth 0.5.
Second, BTCJam account isn't a valid collateral.
Third, because you have negative feedback, you won't get the loan for invalid collaterals.
Please don't spam the forum with false loan requests.
11229  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Empty blocks on: July 01, 2015, 01:04:15 AM
Today, there is a stress test on bitcoin, and lots of transactions have been made (>7k unconfirmed as of the time of writing), however there are still empty block: https://blockchain.info/block/0000000000000000088390da860e3624e9c6f3162dcce3f2f166bb371e018de7 (height=363266). So I don't think empty blocks should exist as they make people waiting for confirmations wait even longer!
11230  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Low transaction fee :( on: July 01, 2015, 01:00:16 AM
Nope, there is still a pool mining empty block now Sad See block 363266 (link: https://blockchain.info/block/0000000000000000088390da860e3624e9c6f3162dcce3f2f166bb371e018de7)
I don't know why while there are so many unconfirmed transactions, but they still mine empty blocks!!!
11231  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i start bitcoin mining? on: July 01, 2015, 12:54:31 AM
In my personal experience, I've started my cloud mining from my very first faucet earnings. However the ROi period is long, so I've cashed out my GHS and stopped my cloud mining that time. However, since I have extra coins from my signature campaign, I've invested in two sites now and I have about 32 GHS of hashing power now.
i have researched that mining is an very efficient way of earning some btc (bitcoins). where do i start with mining? should i invest in mining in the cloud or mining equpment? which is better?
However, mining is now not a efficient way to earn bitcoins, though it was few years ago. In my opinion, cloud mining is better than equipment (if the site is safe and not scam), because you don't need to manage the equipment yourself.
11232  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scrypt.cc is provably lying about their 850GH/s Scrypt mining on: June 30, 2015, 05:23:23 AM
All ponzi get popular after some months of paying but do not forget
Ponzi = scam
But ponzi aslo profit if you know how to make it and if you don't close the page.

Nope, not all ponzi get popular. Many of the newly emerged ponzis are being identified and people won't invest in it at the beginning. What I could say is scrypt.cc's owner is very lucky. Less than 1 in 1000 ponzis could become as successful as scrypt.cc.
11233  Economy / Gambling / Re: DaDice.com - Next Gen Social Gambling Dice Experience | Progressive Jackpot on: June 30, 2015, 03:17:43 AM
I've noticed that the minimum amount for getting 40% of the jackpot changed from 100 satoshi to 1000 satoshi. Is this true, or it is just a mistake of the jackpot FAQ? Because the last jackpot win is a 101 satoshi bet while winning 40% of the jackpot.

Hmm, just realized it too..perhaps they changed the amount after the last jackpot winner @freebee (won 40% with 101satoshi bet). But I dont see any announcements about it..so lets wait for official announcement from dadice.

That's not only @freebee. The 2nd jackpot, which target is also 0.00, the winner @ohyeah also made a 101 satoshi bet to win the 0.56BTC jackpot. Perhaps they are going to fix the positive expected value that makes them loss???

11235  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chile vs Peru on: June 29, 2015, 11:20:32 PM
I think that Chile should win the match, because, first, by fifa.com, Chile's global ranking is at 19th while that of Peru is at 61st. Second, Chile is the 'home' team (because they're hosting the Copa America) while Peru is 'Away'. Home team have an advantage because of stadium/climate/fans' support etc.
11236  Other / Meta / Re: Negative rating from a banned user on: June 29, 2015, 01:59:45 PM
Lesson of the day: never open a thread to complain about troll trust ratings. Things will get worse in the end, much worse
true, no-one will take my ratings seriously now

@Digital_Lord

No one takes trust ratings serious anyway.

They are completely useless due to non moderation and the ease of feedback farming.

~BCX~

The trust ratings from DefaultTrust (depth 2) matters because they affect the value of the account and it will affect the reputation because a 'Warning! Trade with extreme caution' tag will appear at the profile and the user's posts if they have negative feedback from trusted members. However almost no one will care on 'Untrusted feedback' (i.e. feedback from people not from DefaultTrust's trust list), especially for those have no reference and stating fake things/trolling.
11237  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTB] LBC accounts and BTCT accounts on: June 29, 2015, 01:47:53 PM
How much would you pay for a Jr member?

Think the going rate is about .04? I could be wrong, my first time buying a account
A Jr. only worth 0.005-0.01. What is your budget on the account? You can get a Sr. for 0.2BTC. Also, by 0.04BTC you could get a low quality Full Member (which normally worth 0.05) or a high activity Member.
11238  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.017btc no collateral on: June 29, 2015, 01:34:21 PM
Someone have marked your account as purchased/hacked/stolen. Also as of your rank, it is not worth for someone to risk 0.017 because the depreciation of the account due to negative trust don't go to that amount. However when you're a Sr. Member, then the depreciation reaches that amount (assuming that the account haven't been marked as purchased/hacked/stolen). I have loaned 0.015 here with no collateral successfully only by offering a 33% interest. Also as your account have a 'Untrusted' negative feedback (not DefaultTrust), even if you offering this as collateral, myself won't lend you 0.017 because it don't worth the risk.
11239  Other / Meta / Re: 2FA for more security in bitcointalk forum on: June 29, 2015, 01:27:21 PM
I like this idea, I use 2FA on many sites, very easy, quick and an extra layer of security.
I used to refuse any site that requires me to make a 2FA security setting, because I'm using the sites on my phone while I need to scan the QR code also using my phone... Until a site which force me to add 2FA, so I've been started to use the secret key option of the app (while I don't have to scan the QR code).

BTW, will the forum start the 2FA with the QR code one, or the forum will give the username+secret key to us to input?
11240  Other / Meta / Re: Changing avatar not available?! on: June 29, 2015, 01:24:23 PM
After you reached the Full Member rank, go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=avatar and you can add/change your avatar. However if someone lower than Full Member enter that page, it will show up an error.
