11261  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: looking to try mining for fun and cheap - what are my options? on: June 27, 2015, 12:56:58 PM
Some reputable sites like the long lasting cex.io and the newly emerged bit-x.com allows bitcoin cloud mining from 0.0001 BTC. I had used cex.io for fun when the difficulty was 1/3 of now, and the price was about 5x of now. So mining now is more profitable than before, however the ROI time is still long, like about 1 year. Also by the increasing difficulty you may never get a ROI. Better choose a site that allows you to resell you hashing so you can stop any loss/take the profit anytime you want.
If I'm not wrong, the cloudmining operations for cex.io has been suspended due to the price and maintenance fees. ROI has not been possible after factoring in the maintenance fees. The only was to make money there was by trading but that isn't technically mining.
you are not wrong it was suspended as the price went down to nearly $300 because they said the maintenance fees are going to be higher that what you can earn. and it still is not changed so far.
i think i read somewhere in the chat that if you still buy massive GHS there it can be profitable. but i am not sure. i only did small GHS trades there which was profitable back in the days.
Sorry I don't know that because I've left cex.io months ago and when I back to my account, the GHS price is just 30% of that at other mining sites (like bit-x and others). Today when I login I found my dust balance of 14 satoshis there and they don't let me buy any GHS because the amount is too small Sad
11262  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: June 27, 2015, 12:30:55 PM
I have this jr.member account with me (extra one)ehich I am thinking of selling .
I need 0.01 btc
do you think I can sell it for this amount?

member usually are sold for 0.05, so junior should be woth 0.01 at least while newbie is around 0.005 or less

you can try, but it also depend on the quality of your post
Newbies don't worth 0.005 and members don't worth 0.05 either. Newbies of 14 activity worth nothing, while those of 28 activity may worth 2-3mBTC. Members could worth 0.02-0.04 BTC, depending on their rank. Also Jr. Members could go for as cheap as 0.0044 (ref: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=992029.0), and is even cheaper than that of the price of newbies that you stated.

well i said it depend on the quality and the activity does matter but it isn't everything, i see newbies with +10 in trust, i'm sure that an account like that is worth more then 0.005

there is a guide to follow, but i like to give around 100k satoshi per activity, as a base price

The base price of 100k satoshis per activity point is only valid for Senior or above, or a newly created 14 activity newbie would worth 0.014 BTC (or $3) by this rule. However an account having low quality posts won't worth that price. And accounts having green trust and high quality posts will worth more than that (for Sr. or above).
11263  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Creating same priv. key two times on: June 27, 2015, 09:23:38 AM
The number of private keys in the universe is very big, and I've done the following calculation:
My computer have a hashrate of 4 MH/s, and it generate 650K private keys per second on vanitygen, so the estimation of private keys that can be generated by ALL the current hashing power in the world (let them be 400 PH/s for easy calculation), then the WHOLE world generate 6.5*10^16 private keys per second, compared to there are 2^160 (about 1.5*10^48) private keys that would ever exist and the 10^10 keys that may present if 10^9 people using 10 keys, then the whole world needs 4*10^22 seconds, or 1.3*10^15 years to generate a private key that someone owns, not to mention they are empty or not. So generating a duplicate private key is almost impossible.

11265  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: my new faucet earn evrey 15 minutes on: June 27, 2015, 06:17:01 AM
There is a problem on your faucet... After I claimed on your faucet, it supposed to show the amount that I've successfully claimed, however it just show 'You can claim after 15 minutes' instead of the amount... I need to check it at faucetbox.com. Please fix it.
11266  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: http://www.xscrypt.com - This is a scam, I made the script. on: June 27, 2015, 02:00:49 AM
Wow, that site gives a hourly payout of 6933 satoshis while the cost is only 0.029616 BTC (2,961,600 satoshis). Then the 'break even' time is only 428 hours (about 18 days). That very high payout of that site already implies that it is 99.99% a scam.

Hello, you is wrong, its not hourly, its each 6 hours. Its not const only 0.029616, that price is one week of 20% discount, its already ended. and now cost 0.03702.

Our roi is about 4 months and 8 months of profits.

Best Regards
You is wrong?! First you are wrong with the grammar. Second, your site said:
Quote
Hourly Mining Payment (send on each 6 hours): 0.00006933 BTC (Automatically sent to your btc account)
and this will mislead people that it is 6933 satoshi hourly. Please improve your English skills before you're trying to scam.
11267  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Senior Acc 266 Activity 400+ posts on: June 26, 2015, 02:30:48 PM
I can pay 0.1btc for the account.

U must be jocking...

This is why you should state the price you're after and see what offers you get otherwise you will get lowballs from jokers. Senior accounts aren't worth that much anymore though so I wouldn't expect to get much more than double what he offered.
If you can provide a signed message from a post with at least 3 months old, also if the negative trust is from a people who have a red trust rating with 'Warning: Trade with extreme caution!' tag, then the account could worth 0.2 BTC. This is the market price, so you may make this as the ask price.

11269  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, how much bitcoin do you have, and how did you get it? on: June 26, 2015, 02:18:34 PM
When I was a newbie I had never owned over 0.01 BTC at any given time. At that time I was using faucets that pays only 50 to hundreds of satoshis (when the price was $600). I don't bought any bitcoins, and sell them either.
However when I started to involve here, I found that signature campaign is a lot more profitable than faucets. I'm earning 9 times 0.01 BTC last week from my signature campaign.
11270  Economy / Securities / Re: [CRYPTO-TRADE] Crypto-trade.com IPO and official thread! on: June 26, 2015, 02:06:44 PM
I had an account at crypto-trade few months ago and few months ago it was saying that it will temporary shut down for 3 months. However when I check out it today, it don't even show up a page showing it is shutting down for 3 months... However at the same time I found this exchange on Google: http://cryptotrade.exchange. They have almost the same name, is this the rebranding of them, or just another site copying their name?
Thanks.
11271  Economy / Lending / Re: looking for 0.15 btc loan with collateral on: June 26, 2015, 01:52:52 PM
your account isnt worth anything near the loan amount you are asking for, and your coc account is not valid as collateral. you wont be getting this loan.
Yes the coc account isn't worth anything, even if it is at th5. I could make a th5 account within 1 week time, and the Member account is worth 0.02 as other said, so the coc account is worth 0.13?! Even my th7 account that I've played for few months don't worth that amount (if it worth that then I will instantly sell it!).
hi,
looking for a 0.15 btc lian with collateral this btctalk account and coc level 15 with th 5.

waiting for reply
BTW you can't lian or loan bitcoins here without collateral or reputation (higher rank).
11272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin To Cash Rate? on: June 26, 2015, 09:17:56 AM
Assuming you want to trade BTC for cash, what is the rate going to be generally speaking?  Such as $1000 btc would be worth how much cash?  I believe BTC is at least worth the usd cash amount right?  And thus there are people that would be offering 2-3% thus $1030 for $1000 worth of btc?  Also, I'm curious what is the minimum people usually do for btc to cash transactions.  I believe most don't bother if the amount is low since it involves meeting someone up etc.
When you are BUYING BTC, then the amount of USD or other cash will be higher than the bitcoins worth (like if 1 BTC worth $240, then they would traded for 260-270) and if you SELL BTC, then the cash amount would be $210-230.
Also I think that the minimum amount won't be low, it should be at least 100 USD worth I think (as OP stated that it involves meeting) and the seller/buyer needs time and cost (like transportation cost) to buy bitcoins with cash face-to-face.
11273  Economy / Services / Re: How to Make Signature In Forum With UID on: June 26, 2015, 08:55:11 AM
If you are talking about setting a signature then this page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=520516;sa=forumProfile is where you need.
If you are finding a signature campaign, then this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953 contains a full list of signature campaigns, their requirements and payout amounts. However most campaigns don't accept newbies to participate, so wait until your rank is higher, or buy an account in the 'Digital Goods' section.

BTW should this thread be moved to 'Beginners & Help'? I don't know if we need to do so.
11274  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: New bitcoin faucet! on: June 26, 2015, 08:51:16 AM
maybe you must change like this
Chance to win up to 125 satoshi every 15 mins and up to 20000 satoshi every hour!
thank you for my first claim 125 satoshi

Why is it 'up to' 125 satoshis? Their minimum payout is 125 satoshi (which have a 50.5% chance) and the maximum payout (5000 satoshis) is having a 0.5% chance.

So the statement should be 'Chance to win at least 125 satoshis'.

BTW thanks for the 500 satoshis that I've claimed by seeing the topic.
11275  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.1btc no collateral on: June 26, 2015, 08:46:50 AM
Thank you, guys!
... why are you 'Thank you' the previous replies though they all refuse to give a loan... In fact, no one will loan 0.1 BTC with no collateral to Sr. Members and below. Higher rank Full Members could have a value of over 0.1 BTC when they are put up to sell, but when they are used as collateral, they worth about 0.08 only. To lend 0.1 here you need a Sr. Member account or at least 0.11 BTC worth of major altcoins.
11276  Other / Meta / Re: Negative rating from a banned user on: June 26, 2015, 08:39:20 AM
If some banned users to leave you a false feedback, then it probably don't show up as a default trust in the future, because most members in default trust won't give this kind of random feedback. You may negative feedback him as 'He left a false feedback in my profile'.
This has been said 4 or 5 times in the thread before, lets hope the mods will see pass all the words and mark this as spam
Nope, because along with some existing points, I've added some new points into it. So if mods are watching through this thread and every word of my reply, then they won't delete the reply.

Hope I can guess the date correctly and win Smiley
Does this count? If yes then I'm the first one to guess 19th July.

I afraid this is a duplicate post of: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1096719.0.
They have exactly the same content, with it outdated '10,000 captchas = 5.5$' (should be 8$ as of the current rate).
11280  Economy / Auctions / Re: [WTS] Jr. Member on: June 25, 2015, 01:43:08 PM
Better delete that auction and start a new one. You give too many and too exact informations. The actual account can be found easily.

You should be able to delete the thread if im not wrong.
Yes and I've found the actual account. The quality of the posts of that account isn't high, most of the posts are just 1 line. Please consider this before buying it.
