1  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Myrig.com trusted? on: June 06, 2021, 12:14:08 PM
I'd have doubts about trusting them any more.
I know Yoshi Goto used to run it, but have no idea who does now.

Someone on my pool bought a miner from them recently.
It came with firmware that took a 2% fee - but the guy who bought it never knew about it.

Kano, we appreciate your comment.

Some ASIC miners, indeed, have third-party firmware installed. It allows you to increase the energy efficiency of the device and maximize profits, for which a commission of 2% is charged. Even then, the profitability and efficiency of such a device is much higher than that of a device with the original firmware.

Please let us know if third-party software is unacceptable for you, and we will install the official manufacturer's firmware on all your hardware within 1 day.

Thank you for your feedback. Your comments will allow us to improve our service.

Yours sincerely,
MYRIG team.

Myrig customers were always assisted with any of the issues detected or detected items were mitigated before item ended to the customer's hands.

Halong Mining Limited involves multi national setup with anonymous trails, once each documents were validated, those be uploaded to the investigations thread for others who are seeking legal action against them for their reference, however, each of them who decide to use those information should request official copies from each respective government or entities.  As there are more business entities involved behind the curtain.

some may be recored audios, some may be photos, some may be  may be recored screen of text/video chats, email with full heads, registrations documentations some may be from private communications and such.

Myrig announcement will always come from main account as one. as this is not a personal account as seen from day 1.

Mr. Scott Offord,

Miners you shipped under Halong Mining had large chunk of Hash PCB that were specified as 15.3TH/s miner while Quality Testing passing per Halong Mining was rated passed above 14.43TH ish and 14.1TH?  do I need to publish that Table for you?  Regarding addressing for Yoshi, please email his official email address you have on file.  I'm delegated by his authority to assist customers who were victimized by Halong Mining Limited and also yourself Mr. Scott Offord, your actions.  This 15.3/th was hardware specification based on PCB and Chips by the actual Intellectual Property Holder and Designer's specification which Halong Mining Limited or it's subsidiaries DOES NOT OWN

Did you address all customers who received miners manufactured with the wrong soldering paste was used during the manufacturing?

Did you address all customers who received miners that were built on the printed PCB that were discovered defect but SMT them anyway?

How did you address other miners that had known fire hazard and actually caught on fire for others?  Known to catch on fire based on the actual PCB design and components that were used?  (Its a sister pcb that was used on T1 you and Halong shipped)

I did not see any announcement how affected customers were handled on Miner showcased on the Video that had very efficient chips, however, the actual miners delivered to the customers used different chips than advertised due to cost saving attempt?  Chips delivered to some customers came from different (known inefficiency wafer with different engineering data that is why power consumption and performance on some T1 is way off the advertised specifications)  <== this is another reasons, why some customers of yours complains performance and PSU compatibility with the miners.

Oh, what middle eastern country that you own and operate one of your other business? Are you being honest to your USA Government and Canadian Government about business operating in one of those sanctioned countries?  You can dismiss me again as oh, Yoshi's crazy talk.  Item published here has documentations to back each one of them as I'm not permitted to post items here that does not have other data backing them. (I can not publish here many of them due to many of them have information that is too much in public forum but permitted in Investigation Thread, FYI https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=227.0)

Yoshi. I’m not here to air dirty laundry. Why ruin your own reputation by being so inappropriate online? Let’s not beat a dead horse. The Halong project was a success, but you obviously have a bone to pick for some reason that I’m sure the “community” would love to know more about. You continue to weave your web. I sleep well at night. I hope you can one day too. Maybe one day you’ll speak the truth.
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 07, 2019, 11:32:22 PM
FreshDesk does not delete ticket upon combined or merge with another duplicate.  Why is @QuestionQuest hurting for $250,000 USD?  (Quarter Million USD) and claims Halong's Miner being defective?

Regarding Tickets

The merge action is irreversible, and causes the following things to happen:

One of the tickets becomes the primary ticket (you get to choose). The others become secondary.

  • All conversations from the secondary tickets are moved into the primary ticket. You can also choose to keep the requesters and CC emails from the secondary tickets in the loop.
  • All the secondary tickets are closed.
  • All messages are sorted chronologically.
  • A note is added to each of the tickets with a link to the primary ticket.
  • If the note is public, an email notification (the Agent Adds Comment to ticket notifications under Admin > Email notification) might be sent to the requesters about the merged tickets.

Who can merge tickets?

Anyone in your helpdesk with one of the default roles (Account admin, Admin, Supervisor, Agent) will be able to merge tickets.

Source (FreshDesk)
https://support.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/80180-merging-two-or-more-tickets-together

Mr. Scott Offord, sadly, your pattern of lie just never stops. You really want to stop hurting your wife and people around  you! As an example, you lied to her and "borrowed", was it $30,000 USD from her close family friend and hide it from her until she found out about it? And this money was used to invest into Crypto Project.  Roll Eyes Cry  she works in the school system, please don't embarrass her like that.

If tickets were deleted it was because they were combined with another duplicate ticket. All warranty claims we supposed to be handled through MyRig, but instead we’re handled through Halong directly. Every claim submitted was properly fulfilled. I’m sure 99.5% or more of the customers monitoring this thread who did submit a claim will tell you that they are pleased with the after-sale service they received.

Mr Scott Offord,

Lets cut the lie.

Halong Mining Limited in Hong Kong was dissolved on May 10, 2018
(HALONG MINING LIMITED      Company Number:261169      Disolved)

Halong Mining Limited in Belize is also went into out of business in 2018
(HALONG MINING LIMITED      Company Number:168836      Inactive)

MAC Address registration for IEEE.ORG still uses wrong address that does not belong to Halong Mining Limited in Hong Kong.
https://regauth.standards.ieee.org/standards-ra-web/pub/view.html#registries
A0-B0-45 (hex) A0B045

How Halong Mining Limited in Country of Belize is related to HalongMining.com and Scott Offord can be seen from the USA Government Website.  This was registered by Mr. Scott Offord. (Canadian&American)  In case you need keyword to run search  Halong Mining

http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=87892531&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch

*Looking at any of these documents will lead you to no where as all registered anonymously and no human being is the director of the company, except IEEE.ORG and Halong's trademark were registered/applied by Mr. Scott Offord.

anyone interested can pay to each respective government to obtain more details from them directly.

Scott Offord is one of the official sales representative physically conducting business of Halong Mining Limited from Wisconsin, USA however, the company was legally dissolved but still claim to be in operation.  It is so sad how shady people can be in Crypto Business.  Once we see someone opens up an legit investigation thread, others can publish more details there as personal identifying information is not allowed here.

Here is the investigation thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=227.0

Myrig suspended servicing Halong customer was due to Halong failed to deliver parts they promised.  Myrig customers were all serviced directly from Myrig.  All halong customers were regretfully rejected (declined) service after their parts run out in our stock.  Myrig repeatedly notified custoemrs to ask Halong to either provide more parts required for the service or have Halong directly service them.  Also, Halong's fraudulent use of 3rd party companies tax identification numbers in attempt to deliver parts while reporting significantly under value to each respective government where Myrig Warehouses are operated in different countries.  DHL and UPS record showed each instances were reported and repeatedly requested by UPS and DHL for Halong to correct the issues instead, nothing was done but some shipment was forced to deliver and entity's tax identification was used fraudulently had to resolve the legal issues and had to pay penalties and interest also.

Also, Halong employees were falsely claiming to own and control Myrig and Myrig.com and redirecting unsuspecting customers providing false informations while Myrig solely belong to Myrig Inc as well as TradeMark of DragonMint.

if You are honoring the warranty, there are at least 30,000 hash pcb that qualify for defective manufacturing and majorities were still to date, not being processed by Halong Mining or Halongmining.com or so called BTCdrak.

Also, refund for undelivered miners from Halong is still outstanding and customers are contacting us also.

art of deceptions  Angry Cry

did they fulfill all their obligations or, ongoing support aside?  NO  (i'm sure will hear about that part more and more as time goes by)

Halong was a wrong brand and if you research enough you will eventually find it as a deregistered business entity. Part of it seized operation in May of 2018 and other half later in 2018.

I'm sure others have tried to look for them but had 0 success after retaining competent law firm(s). You may not want to underestimate what Social Engineering can find someone who is lost in plain view like needle in a massive haystack.

First time I've checked this thread in a long time.

So Halong is a totally dead operation? To your knowledge did they fulfill all their obligations or, ongoing support aside, leave a large number of people hanging?

The whole ride has been a strange one. From furious conjecture, to proving the doubters wrong to disappearing again.
8  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: January 07, 2019, 02:09:19 AM
@Steamtyme,

You can always try but probably lead you to the wrong path and end up loosing trace you need and few millions of dollars in the process as fees associated with each process.  BTCdrak has not logged into his usual communication tools and some will expire very soon and probably be purged for good.  He is known to communicate with some other big name people but unfortunately, we can not publish those names here as it can be seen as speculations.    Deleted tickets be deleted by one of the 2 contacts in USA or BTCdrak himself.

Halong (halongmining.com), there are 3 USA contacts and fortunately it is not Myrig.  You can start to shake those trees but more likely you will end in dead end as they probably will try to dodge it to buy time while responsible prepare for departure like Friedcat.  At least of of those 3 contact, he dodged it for months on.

Food for a thought.  Not easy to find someone who is being very conscious to remain anonymous and employ every unconventional ways to scrub your identity on the internet as much as he/she can.  Example Below

Here is the investigation thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=227.0

@Steamtyme
Yeah, you are right. But I can be happy, because that is not part of my job to sort all that stuff  Wink

@MyRig
Well, it was never about MyRig like you can read in my first message about that burned down container because of Halong hardware.
And starting an investigation in any internet board, even if Satoshi Nakamoto himself would appear, is not a good idea.

The game is working different.
Step one was writing "you" or the halong team a personal ticket to find a solution. Not successful, ok next step.
Step two is now making it public and giving the involved persons the last option to find a solution, but not on our investigation, time, labor or back!

Last step if we start an investigation it will be the official way and within this way you will be asked questions by the authority you better go to answer. You were the contact for America and you have the names, contacts and everything ready to serv. A personal message in here is always possible, too. My boss has enough money to fight any law case, but it is not possible to fight a law case in any country even with money. But the start in US is to find out more will be easy, but not priceless for any site.
It was never said that MyRig did any wrong action, but maybe just picked the wrong business partner - like we picked the wrong brand.  Angry

Thank you for the pointer!  If a topic is open up for BTCDRAK in investigation section, please let us know.  We will follow it and publish items after careful consideration of validity of the claims.

MyRig nor Yoshi is Halong or BTCDRAK...  Myrig customer service does not delete tickets.  If you had used "fresh desk" that is BTCDRAK/HALONG side.  support@myrig.com is independent of Halong and does not share customer service system.  (where halong had access to myrig support tickets temporary until myrig terminated Halong's access of myrig support system. but that was long ago)

You can always PM/DM us if you think our system deleted your support ticket as we can look them up.

If you provide us enough proof you are one of the victims of the Halong or BTCDRAK we may be able to provide you further information along with, factories, suppliers, and etc.

Unfortunately, this forum does not allow us to publish his personal contact information.  If Admin allows it, Owner of Myrig will publish btcdrak's information on this forum.

BTCDRAK is a known pseudo - and that is not helping.
While 20 machines are burned down including the whole unit it will take to give this information by pictures we shot before. There was an easy option to keep track of us, by not closing down/deleting the ticket of us.

Anyways what should this help? Will MyRig or any insurance of "BTCDRAK" pay the 250.000 USD for it at the end of which results? And if so, why not answering our ticket before where we already included a picture of the burned down container for you? And while all data and informations of all machines (and returned boards) was already included you just have to answer us. Why not?

Before we work again like monkeys for you to bring you documents, pictures or whatever which will not been seen, please give a good reason for interacting again without a public plattform and what will be the best result for us if your investigation is successfull?

So tell me - where is this leading to if you can approve something "wrong"?
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: December 29, 2018, 04:08:42 AM
Where did you purchase these?

Halong is operated and owned by BTCDRAK.  We are happy to provide you his contact information.  We do need the serial number information tho to assist you identify who or where it was manufactured.  Who may have tested it or operated Quality Control Lines.  Americans and US Persons are involved in many different steps.

Unless you are Myrig customer and contacted Myrig, please email support@myrig.com again, so the case can be escalated to the management.

Thank you

Everybody reading this mega post since the first pages will know:
I loved the idea of Halong and I knew that they are real, before most people believed it.

What I always said was: We will see what they will deliver!

RESULT:
STOP MINING AS FAST AS POSSIBLE WITH HALONG!
IT WILL START WITH FAILURE ON BOARDS AND CHIPS AND IT CAN END IN A BIG FIRE.

OUR MINING CONTAINER 3 of 3 BURNED DOWN BECAUSE OF HALONG! WE HAVE THE RESULTS ON THE START OF THE FIRE NOW!

SO BE VERY CAREFULL USING HALONG AT HOME AND WITHOUT FIRE PROTECTION!
We never had problems with Innosillicon, Bitmain or other manufacturers with that.

FINALLY!
5x Halong miners are left after 1/3 of the boards had big failures. (18x boards) They send us 5 new miners (15x boards?).

Anyways: They are done! Even if they would introduce a 100THs miner with 1000W at wall.
They showed they are unprofessional and cannot stand it.
(Important: MyRig as service partner and (whole-)seller was always 100% professional, as they tried to help as far as they can! It is not about them!)
A picture of the burned results and container can be shown public.

We waited 7 weeks to make it public, because we first contacted the support of Halong with the informations.
RESULT: DELETED TICKET Smiley

... and we had to await the official inspection report, after we got the report of the fire departement anyways.
RESULTS: The start of the fire was at place 32 to 35 (all Halong!)

Who ever is having problems like that or who is feeling that the miners are not as promised you have the option to get in touch with us in the next 4 weeks before we step up for the next moves - if Halong is not finally getting in touch with us - the customers - we are not afraid to find "Yoshi" and his team on the law way or on any other way!

250.000 USD burned down - we were very very lucky that this container was just started and not filled up.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 17.2TH/s, 1570W Innosilicon announces the most powerful and efficient BTC Miner on: November 08, 2018, 04:47:36 PM
just a cautionary note.  most units would perform at 10-15% higher power consumption with 5% less hash rate.  Try with Pangoline/Bitwei and Ants before jump on the gun

also, 25% tariff is not active UNTIL January 1.  still it is only 2.6% to USA  be warned!!  (If anyone is being gauged on the extra 25%)
13  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: October 25, 2018, 07:05:15 AM
Don't fall for wrong firmware.  It will cost you money to fix your miner if it breaks.  Components are different, circuits are different and etc...  Even works on some, may cause loss and I do not think Halong will honor the warranty

we already hear plenty of sad stories with B29 and B52 using improper firmware.  Short term gain may seems attractive but long term gain will look terrible.  Please remember, you gotta hope that the hardware will work for you over 12 months to be smiling for most users
14  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: July 04, 2018, 12:42:47 AM
If you have purchased DragonMint from Myrig, please email support@myrig.com for warranty and support.

Myrig PSU with Myrig Logo on the top of the PSU version are under warranty for the 180 days from the shipout date.  Please email support@myrig.com for the replacement.  You can return them to USA or Spain or Hong Kong or Russia or Ukraine or Japan or china whichever the closest to you.

I dont having issues with boards, but 6 from 75 MyRig PSUs are gone.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 28, 2018, 03:55:03 AM
if you are in USA, you might want to send it to us and get it fixed or replaced

17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 20, 2018, 09:25:58 PM
@NotFuzzyWarm

Yes, I know your point.  May be some explanations to come later but not at this moment.

We can only do our best to help out miners who got us to where we are today...

and....  Myrig is not an anonymous entity as some forum member insist stating.

If you have MYRIG PSU or DragonMint T1 purchased from Myrig (meaning paid to Myrig) please send support request directly to support@myrig.com to expedite the warranty or repair process.  There is no need to seek authorization from halong as we have to process those under our sales contract to you as customers of Myrig.
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 15, 2018, 03:58:14 PM
@NotFuzzyWarm

Myrig provided sample DragonMint miners to CKPOOL and KANO.IS (Shipping to Kano was delayed from mishapp at the warehouse) and a few other pool operators. if there are any pool operator who needs remote access, Myrig will provide it for them.  If need a physical device delivery, a loaner can be provided.  (some could be with or without deposit)

Some of the larger pools out there have patches that can be adopted already, but each respective pool operator has to make the decision to implement or not as pool operation to those larger pool is a business enterprise.  I'm sure when they are ready or when things reach their need to activate AsicBoost support, it will be implemented but again, lets respect each pool operator's decision if they chose to implement or not.

19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint T1 16TH/S halongmining.com on: June 13, 2018, 09:39:21 PM
Lets just wait for Kano to get it all ready!  At the end of the day, he has 200+Ph to protect and liability can be painful if something goes wrong in transition.  He did shown great interest to implement AB into kano.is  lets sit back and wait mean while, lets sing kumbaya with hope that BTC price to rise!

IF PSU was a part of DragonMint purchase and came with Halong's stamp on the commercial invoice, please email support@myrig.com
