1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Datacarriersize up to 220 bytes on: November 11, 2021, 03:23:16 AM

I did not expect btx to fall to such a low price. I bought 500 btx coins 3 years ago and have been holding them for more than 3 years. I don’t know whether to sell or continue to hold. With btx’s slogan "My Coin, "My Money" expresses my mood.

Might as well hold onto that dog. At 25 cent a pop it's not worth dumping Embarrassed

Got that right. I am riding my bag down to zero.  Roll Eyes

I sent you 4 merit points. I hope that helps with your loss.  Grin

Thanks jackbox awfully nice. It's not that bad I was averaging down quite a bit when price got as low as 10$ so those coins are only down 90%. I see you've got a Trezor affiliate link, If I get one I'll repay the gesture by using it. Just waiting for something to moon first!

Crypto is a roller coaster. If you have not sold, you have not lost anything. Like with stocks, the persons who don't panic and hold for a while are rewarded.

1 dollar is not too bad but I'm still down 97.5% from 40$

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: March 08, 2021, 02:23:25 PM
Has anyone else had problems with auto exchange? I cant swap out Eth for weeks.

Also why is the minimum auto withdrawal for Eth 0.01, and the fee is 0.003? that's extreme.

It is probably due to the high gas fees. They send it to exchanges to swap and that would cost a crap load of gas fees at this time. Probably better to swap for another coin right now?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: February 19, 2021, 05:00:35 PM
I like the new style, if you also look at the price development, I like it even better ...

price development? what is BTX at? 10 to 14 cents? (note this is what i found on the one exchange I have an account on)

Apparently it is around 50 to 60 cents now. But a long way from the $20+ I bought into it at.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: [ESHOP launched] Trezor: Bitcoin hardware wallet on: February 16, 2021, 04:08:34 PM
Web wallet says to update Trezor T to firmware version 2.3.6 but there has been no tweets, nothing updated on website or firmware changelog announcing this update that followed so soon after version 2.3.5. What's up Trezor?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: February 12, 2021, 10:48:35 AM
You need to update the wallet to get it to sync. I think they did a hard fork a while back???

Yeah, I bought at 36$, 30$, 25$, 20$, 15$, 10$, 5$ and stopped.

Purely pump and dump Lambo bullshiet.

Now, even the wallet doesn't sync. Seriously?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: February 12, 2021, 04:27:35 AM
It used to be quite high. I bought some at $20 a while back. Others I got for free from airdrops and marketing programs. I would say the "best" exchange you can buy it from would be HitBTC.

The next run for Bitcore will be well past $40 this time Wink Wink

where can it be bought and sold? any non-obscure exchanges?

and how do you get to $40 when its not even 40 cents?

The Bitcore website Bitcore.cc links to a different Github page then you listed. (https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/) and the latest release is 0.90.9.7. You link to a different Github page *https://github.com/bitcore-btx/BitCore/releases) with version 0.90.9.8.12. Why is this newer version and different Github not listed on Bitcore official website?

Hi,
I got a problem. Wallet won't sync. It lists main chain hashes up to block 589934 but the hash for 589935 is not in block explorer. I've tried reindexing many times and get the same result. Then I tried to send my BTX away from the wallet but perhaps good the transaction is not in block explorer, only in wallet which shows 0 coins now. 2500 coins gone?? In this coin going to $100?? What can I do?

Hello Cryptonicus,

which wallet version do you use?

Looks like FIRO is soon going to attain new ATH Smiley

How you figure? A couple of years ago when it had another name it was over $40 each.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet to use for 2018 coins on: January 05, 2021, 01:06:58 PM
Hi, I haven't been following crypto since 2018, and would like to know which wallet to use to gain access to BTX from back in 2018.  The latest 0.90.9.7 did not read my wallet.dat file.  Thanks for any help.

You can run the old wallet and back up your private keys (you do not need to sync it just backup private keys) and try to import them to the new one

Do you need to wait for the blockhain to download? mine hasn't been opened for a while and I'm not sure what I need to do, the progress bar hasn't moved since I opened it.

If your wallet will let you send the coins it should work. You do not need a copy of the blockchain to send coins. Only your private keys.

Same here, I've not been on for a long time and had forgotten about BTX, my QT wallet is V 0.15.2.0

What do I need to do to withdraw them? Thanks

Unless you had millions they are pretty much worthless now. Just hold onto them and hope goes back up someday.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zcoin (XZC) - Implementing ZKP privacy without trusted setup on: December 02, 2020, 07:11:16 PM
I have a Zcoin QT Core wallet version 0.14.0.5-4c7291cdb (64-bit). I just installed Firo but it is mnemonic words based and the Zcoin Core wallet was not. Do I have to send coins from the old Zcoin wallet to new Firo wallet to get them in the new wallet?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - New algo is online! on: November 25, 2020, 02:41:26 PM
I had Bitcore wallet BitCore BTX version v0.15.2.2-gba8ed3a93be (64-bit) running but it got 9 weeks behind in data. I installed the new Odarhom v0.90.0.7 wallet but all it does it scan block index and then goes away. There is no user interface to interact with the wallet. I am running Windows 10 64 bit updated to the newest version. I hope someone can offer a suggestion to get the wallet working properly.

I would re-sync the new wallet from scratch in such case. Alternatively, there is a 1-2 month-old bootstrap in the Github (https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/releases/download/0.90.9.6/bootstrap.zip). If you want something more fresh, I can upload it to Mega, but I suppose official one is always preferred...

Thanks. The issue wasn't the blockchain. It was the GUI would not show. I rebooted my computer and kept rerunning the wallet. Finally, on the third try after rebooting the GUI appeared and the wallet reindexed and completed syncing. All up to date now on the new wallet. Now the only issue is for BTX to recover some value (I have a pretty decent amount). When I got into it BTX was worth a lot more than it is now.  Cheesy

I think I am going to get an Antminer L3++ from a local seller. You said you are solo mining. Would you care to share how to set that up? I have only mined in pools in the past. Could never get solo mining to work. Thanks.

I am on https://gos.cx/site/GetCoin?c=DGB

settings are easy for L3++

URL: stratum+tcp://us.gos.cx:3438
worker: --- your dgb wallet address
password: --- if you want solo you put m=solo if you want pplns (what they call share on gos.cx) you just leave it blank

so mine is:

stratum+tcp://us.gos.cx:3438
DQXJGhG2yq9T35shAjP4cbP5HAErkXCKjV.ltc3
m=solo

Thanks for the info. I just sent you some merit points.  Grin

If I may ask how much did you pay for the ASIC, how much is electricity costing per block. Are you at least breaking even per block or losing money right now hoping for future appreciation (that assumes you are keeping the mined coins). I used to mine ASIC coins on Antminers but sold them a few years ago. I was able to use Qubit algo to mine quite a few DGB on my computers at home but that was a ways back. Good luck to you. I got into DGB early. Always been one of my favorite coins.

about $80 per miner and my electric is 5 cents per kw/h used over what my solar produces.

in 2.5 days, I have hit 6 blocks for a total of 3,582 dgb, roughly equal to $23 USD and used about $6.48 worth of electricity. So, it is a small profit if I was to cash out.

Just hit my 3rd solo block about 20 mins ago - thats 3 in 11 hours.

What miner program are you using and are you GPU mining?

No, I am mining with L3++ ASIC running at about 635 mh/s
