Is coin payments.net still part of moolah? I see it is still active and was wondering if it was spun off or somehow just left moolah? Will it be caught up in the mintpal issue?

When did they ever have anything to do with Moolah?

Why do you want to post some useless response like happy smiley or something like that? You need to write at least something constructive.

Really. It's crazy to think a happy face response can actually piss someone off so much. Have you read the dumb shit people say in forums?  A happy face should be the least of the worries. But it's in the rules, no problem.

Thanks a bunch, never saw those. A little tight ass, but I can dig it.

regional managers and branch managers? your everyday village idiot could secure those positions with ease. If you were to ask the real decision makers or people in executive positions i am sure they are all well aware of bitcoin. the average minion bank teller could just as well be the same idiot behind a supermaket till

Yes and no.  Bitcoin seems big to us, but every time I inquire at any organization or speak with management really anywhere, they are completely clueless. It's easy to get lost online and think everyone understands it. The reality is,probably well over 50% of people you see everyday have 0 idea what it is.

Is it illegal to respond to posts in this neck of the woods with an lol, or a happy face, or something? I had 4 of my posts deleted because they were one character responses. If this is not allowed I will not do it anymore, but doesn't a reply sometimes warrant a happy face, on my own threads even?  Is it typical for mods to scroll your history and delete posts here?  Just let me know so I don't keep breaking the Bittalk rules plz and thx.
386  Economy / Long-term offers / Potential Funding for Bitcoin ATM Lethbridge AB Canada on: November 23, 2014, 11:08:24 PM
Hi there!

I am considering the potential of investing in a Bitcoin ATM to partner with a local business and be the first mover in LEthbridge Alberta Candada, we're a town of 90-100 thousand depending on greater area or not.

Here's a little BG about the motivation...

I am the person behind www.yocrypto.ca. Basically, we provide content to businesses considering Bitcoin integration.  I have been at it for 4 months, previously www.dogehouse.ca was my project, but, well you know, dogecoin.. So,  I moved to YOCrypto as a way to provide businesses with content that will get them to go the extra mile with Bitcoin and not just spank up "Bitcoin Accepted" badge but to actually promote bitcoin, and reap the benefits of consumer loyalty.

Bitcoin fascinates me, and it's coming to the point where I really need to start monetizing the hobbies, or look for a FT job locally that would kill my Bitcoin hopes and dreams.  So, have been working on direction and our strategy a little bit and decided to focus less online, and more in the community.

The next 2 projects for YOCrypto are expansion into ATM distribution as a way to create a buzz within retailers accepting Bitcoin, and a complete coupon/VIP Bitcoin program similar to the SPC card in Canada which is a MASSIVE hit discount program.

I come to inquire about funding for my first Bitcoin ATM that will be placed in Lethbridge Alberta Canada.

At the moment I am crunching numbers on demographics and small businesses within the area that I will target with Bitcoin adoption.  This is not something I am going to be considering... half assed.  Based off surverys and earlier projections, I am going to be focusing on businesses with a concentration of male traffic, 20-44, and employed in a a number of fields (mainly technical, retail, and web based business).

Including the demographics above, and roughly 34% consideration rate, I am looking to reach 2100 local citizens that directly possess the attributes that compromise the average Bitcoin user.  I have a handful of businesses in line to approach, but I am planning to inquire about funding prior,so I can get a feel for the bigger picture before I set up meetings.

This is simply the framework and background for anyone taking the time to read.  I am putting a complete plan together as I write this, but would like to understand this part of the process a little before approaching retailers with a presentation of possibilities..

Basically, I am looking to get a feel for how this situation would work. I am new to the "forum" lending community and would like to learn a little more before I peruse another type of funding.

I would be looking for between 3-4 K USD to acquire a Gigabytes ATM and starter marketing materials.

Aside from everything, I am also seeking out partners for these projects as the plans for YOCrypto defiantly exceed my ability to complete everything in a timely fashion.  If anything above is something that interests you, or YOCrypto is a brand you could see yourself aligning with, let me know.

Love to hear thoughts and opinions before I actually peruse anything, and wanted to see what the community thought here before I began to look for opportunities locally.  I am pretty new here and have seen postings in which people ask for collateral, which makes sense, but i haven't seen much offered. My daily vehicle that is worth the value of the loan is probably my largest asset at the moment. Not to sure how everything works, but given the right circumstances, that is most likely what I would have to offer.

All my life savings is in bitcoin , I even sold my son's bike to buy bitcoin.
My mental health is based on the btc market. So I'm very bipolar.
Today was a very depressed day , I tried to kill myself but now I'm a bit better.
For now I just lay in bed with a bottle of wisky trying to sleep.

Does anyone know if there is a small change we ever see 1000$ again?

thank you

Hey buddy.  Reconsider.  A Bitcoin isn't worth shit compared to your life.  The ups and downs can get a little hectic, especially for lots of us who sit on computers all day separated from the real world.  We gotta be there for each other.  Send me a PM if you need to chat I can send you my digits.

K...  question. Has it not been publicized 100,000 times that Tor is not anonymous? Or are all those articles BS, because i swear it's not and that comes out in a new media outlet once a week?

Also. Hell yeah. The Bitcoin browser. Has a nice ring to it. Much Firefox Bitcoin integration app to follow?

Question... A thought kinda popped in my head. I was cruising the Moolah site, and came across their verification process.  Remembering that I have emailed them multiple pictures of my identification and shit.....

"We'll need to see the following in order to verify your account if you wish to use our currency exchange services, merchant conversion services or accept credit/debit cards on our storefronts.

Government issued photo ID (e.g. passport, drivers license, identity card, etc).
Proof of address (e.g. utility bill, bank statement, etc) dated within the last 6 months.
You can provide this information to us by opening a help desk ticket at the below URL and uploading your documents. Please include your username in any requests. Please do not send us documents via email."

Considering his family is made of known fraudsters and cunts, it can probably safely be assumed that copies of all this shit will be all over the place, and anyone who sent any form of verification might be at risk of alex assuming them in the future?  Is there any way to go about this? I pulled my $$ before he left with it, but i really don't feel like waiting for the next 5 years to find out this asshat has 15 credit cards in my name. Has this been brought up to any legal entities? Can anything even be done about a fraudster running around with thousands and thousands of ID's. Does the legal system protect against this stuff, or do I need to start organizing and advertising the UK Bitcoin convention?

Good point. Good question. Where are those documents now, exactly?

Where? Probably on multiple hard drives, multiple devices, sold, ya know, just anywhere and everywhere.

Bitcoin << trade with ----- trusted members >> PayPal <<----->> Payoneer

Unfortunately, that is extremely inefficient and unnecessarily time consuming. There is a better way!

Is this something that would interest either of you?  I am a marketing person with no development skills. But I can see a strong need for this product and I am sure we would do well.  Brand, marketing, html, css, I'm good for bringing it to the market, just lacking the essential piece to the puzzle. If this is something of interest toss me a DM, let's make it happen.

So I came across a site called Dice Madness. The link to the website is: http://dicemadness.com/

I was wondering if the website was legit or fake!

It looks suspicious and better avoid these kind of stuffs.

Quote from the "Fair" tab of the site...

"Note: Decimals from 3rd place are cutted off."

Are they, cutted off.  Probably don't want to trust any funds in the hands a 12 year old.

Ferdous is the one seeking justice against Ryan. Ferdous was raped big time by Ryan that got him to invest in buying Mintpal. We know what happened then. So now he hired a lawyer firm (same as Syscoin's team) to attack Ryan and try to get back control of V2, and hopefully force the BTC back.

I chatted a bit with Ferdous. And as far as I know, he is probably the one who lost more in this affair, and he is pretty fair. There is not that much serious effort done to recover stolen money - and Ferdous case is a solid attempt, and I support it.

If we want to fight back, we have to fight the right target.

Completely agree.  I understand that he had a lot invested and a shit ton on his hands at the present moment.  I do however, feel like there is a whole bunch of people who are not involved with that process due to headache, and fishyness of donating more money to a cause that little is known about.  I think the correct way to go about fundraising for Fedorous (he seems very popular, I have no idea his history/who he is) is to at minimum have a central place for the donations, and legal updates. This is fine, but messagesget lost.If he had weekly updates, a website, for this whole process, i bet more people come forward and more people are down to donate to the legal fund. I follow on twitter and stuff, and I want to see Alex go down, but nobody is getting my donations without a face, and not a picture, i am sure others feel the same way. Too much scamming, time for 100% accountability before my shit goes places now.

LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT: WHEN YOU INVEST OR AND OPEN UP A BUSINESS THERE IS ONE FIRST RULE: YOU ARE GAMBLING AND THINGS COULD GO WRONG.
NOW IT COMES THE SECOND RULE: YOU DO NOT ASK YOUR CLIENTS FOR MONEY TO RECOVER THE LOSS OF YOUR BUSINESS, REGARDLESS WHAT YOUR SITUATION WAS(NOT ENOUGH CLIENTS, WRONG LOCATION, GOT SCAMMED, ETC..)
FERDOUS INVESTED IN MINTPAL TO MAKE MONEY, AND IT WENT WRONG, AND I DON'T CARE WHAT THE SITUATION WAS.
AS MUCH AS I FEEL SORRY FOR THE MINTPAL SITUATION I THINK IS COMPLETELY OUT OF PLACE TO ASK US FOR MONEY FOR A LAWYER.

BUT HEY, EVERYONE IS FREE TO DO WHATEVER THEY WANT, IF YOU ALL FEEL LIKE IS RIGHT TO SEND BTC'S TO GET HIM A LAWYER THEN GO AHEAD I GUESS.
I AM NOT SENDING ANYTHING.

MAN MAKES THE MONEY, MONEY NEVER MAKES THE MAN.

To be clear, I personally didn't lose anywhere near as much in Mintpal investment as many of the customers of Mintpal did. I also don't really care too much about the money I lost; as it was money I could afford to lose. I knew it was a high risk high return investment. Note that if we do recover the stolen BTC, the customers are the ones that benefit the most from this, not me, as I will be the last in line to get anything back.

What bothers me is not the money; it's scammers like Ryan getting away with stealing people's money over and over.

I have so far spent lot more in the legal expenses than the funds raised by crowd source and we will find a way to fund the legal expense one way or another. It just makes it easier with your support. After all, the money recovered benefits every customer, and to every community member in crypto space in broader terms. I know that it's frustrating if you lost money in Mintpal, and it doesn't seem fair to donate even more. You have no obligation to contribute, and we are trying our best to recover that money for you.

Right? Meanwhile, a guy can't run an anonymous survey without getting blasted all day for being fishy.  The only thing that hurts Bitcoin is our own community.  Accountability where it matters lacks. My fractions of a BTC are going to gather dust in cold storage for the next bit.

Listen you fuck.  I lost 0$ in Moolah, but i am not pointing the fingers at people who lost their money, and as a person interested in Bitcoin, I am not going to watch someone take advantage of a complete community because he can temporary behind a computer screen.  Reconsider where you are DIRECTING YOUR CAPS.

Many people have tried this in the past few years and for some reason they all get kiboshed.

That's where i see an opportunity. It's a service that would be used by everyone that has yet to be done right. Bitplastic.com is close, just no cigar.
399  Bitcoin / Project Development / Bitcoin Debit on: November 18, 2014, 03:17:10 AM
Hey guys.

Today I came across https://bitplastic.com/ which pretty much 100% solved what I wanted for so long, a cold storage wallet that would let me use the funds as debit, and interact with my account through mobile or desktop to deposit bitcoin. Until,  I did research before I deposited.  It sounds to me like the person in charge of bitplastic has a number of projects, and tends to neglect bitplastic.  There is negative reviews everywhere.  It's killing me because i would have loved to use this, and this is the service you find on google, so, everyday, people are putting money in a shady service.

This service needs to exist and i think is a huge entry point for new adopters

I am considering taking on a project and would be looking for a developer who could help integrate a payment system with a bitcoin checkout similar to what https://bitplastic.com/ has.  Someone who would be willing to take on a PT project that with a little TLC we could make a full time project.

I know that mastercard issues these branded cards that are interac ready, shouldn't be to hard to get ahold of them.

Anyhow, any thoughts, ideas, lemme know
