61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - MintpalJustice.com - Report Missing Funds on: February 23, 2015, 08:37:10 PM
Ferdous still controlls the v1 wallets. He told me via PM he was planning to setup a withdrawl page, but that was over a month ago.

Hi there,

Sorry for lack of communication on my end.

Of the wallets recovered from V1, we have processed withdrawal of TES, KARMA, FAIR, FLT with the help of the developer teams of these coins.

I currently still have the XMR wallet. Every other altcoin wallets are empty, as they seemed to have "migrated" to V2, aka., Ryan emptied them out AFAIK.

The criminal investigation against Ryan and Chelsea has speeded up in the last few weeks, and I was advised to not process withdrawals at this stage, so I'm left holding this XMR bag that is not even mine! I don't feel comfortable holding onto coins that are not mine, and I am looking into setting up a withdrawal page as soon as I can.

I know that some of you have contacted Action Fraud UK and also reached out Selachii LLP to list yourselves as creditors against Moolah. You should be able to receive updates on the criminal investigation directly from Action Fraud UK under confidentiality agreement.

I'm working on rebuilding a high quality exchange and finding ways to reimburse users of MintPal. A lot of you have reached out and offered help. Thanks for your patience, trust and support.

you are as guilty as ryan kennedy is if the btc is not returned

very convenient of you to sell the exchange to    A HACKER AND KNOWN THIEF  right before everyone lost their money

if ryan goes to court ,you should be in the doc#k beside him because IF  you didnt participate in the scam you most certaintly facilitated it

pretending to be the good guy now returning  a few wothless shitcoins was probably part of the plan all along ,eh ?

I hate to say it, but you are on to something. Not sure if you are 100% correct, but there is more to this story.   Fraud happens everyday, from my perspective, the complete absence of anyone who lost funds in this case seems to be extremely fishy.  Could be wrong, but for a court case that is settling the loss of funds, which were the funds of END users, not the funds of a business, it seems there should be a little more transparency.  Either this scam is actually a bigger picture like you stated, or the court case is to save the businesses funds and the consumers who lost their coins are getting left out of the picture. Don't want to point fingers but this seems like quite the sheltered case, and quite the select information that gets processed, something just doesn't add up.

why don't you send the coins back to the holders?

Left this thread a month ago, nothing has changed. Something still is shady, this isnt right.  I don't believe anyone is representing the people who lost their coins, perhaps the business that went under, but not the people who lost their coins.  How are people who lost their assets not involved in this situation, at all.  How are the user coins being held.  They are around, and there is access to them, why are the former holders not involved? Something is fishy, just as fishy as day 1, and nothing has changed. At this point i would actually have to be in the court room to believe anyone in this thread.

66  Other / Off-topic / PHP Question For a GURU on: February 21, 2015, 10:43:22 PM
Hello! I have a PHP question that has been stumping me for the last 24 hours and I think someone who knows what they are doing would have a simple answer.

If this is returning single values for an exchange

Code:
$btcbtcchinaPrice = $btcbtcchinaUSD["ticker"]["last"];
$btcbtcchinaVol = $btcbtcchinaUSD["ticker"]["vol"];

How would I change those tags to return all values under certain rows on this api

http://api.bitcoincharts.com/v1/markets.json

I just cant figure out the way to write the selectors, everything i try gives errors  Embarrassed

ofcourse.... you are trying to sell a shi* & bumping for longggggggg...

 Angry

What is selling a shi*?  Are you referring to a website I have worked very hard on, and a 63.00 theme listed at starting rate of 40.00, thank you very much for your opinion of my work.  Really appreciated.

You are noob...... you paid shi* theme for $63 & want to sell it $40 & took profit of $40 !?

Hey there, I am very glad you are spamming each and every thread I have created thank you very much.  This was an auction for a domain, theme and content that has been a little work to upload.  It's a project that I just don't have time for unfortunately, however was hoping to locate someone with similar ideas who might!  Thank you for calling me a newb and referring to my project as shit. It's really great to hear feedback.

PSA: Don't use that script. Even really basic security steps not taken.

Address input form inserted straight into database using deprecated mysql_query without escaping  Roll Eyes

Code:
<form method="post" action="faucet.php">

<label for="email">Bitcoin address:</label>
<input type="text" name="address" id="address" size="32" maxlength="128">
</tr></td>

Code:
$run = mysql_query("INSERT INTO ".MYSQLBTCTABLE."(id, address, ip, date, time) VALUES('','" . $_POST['address'] . "','" . $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] . "', '".date("Y-m-d")."', '".date("H")."')");
if ($run !== true) {

Wow, haha.

@OP, use mysqli. If you don't know how to, it's worth the money hiring someone to do it for you.

Looking like that's going to be the route, this stuff is way over my head.  Got some learning to do.

Hey guys!

I am trying to put a faucet on my Wordpress site.   More specifically, this faucet https://github.com/Kafkamorph/Simple-Open-Source-BitCoin-Faucet

As a complete newb to this, I am lost at the MySQL part.  Looking for someone who can join me in a slack or skype chat and help me through the process as I would like to understand this for the future.

I am working with a very limited budget, let me know your cost in a PM or however you feel fit. I do marketing/design/socialmedia work, willing to offer services in exchange as well.  Thanks for your time looking forward to hearing from some MYSQL gurus!

If it was a .com extension I would buy it in a heartbeat.

owner is also trying to sell the site as far as I know, looks like he gave up on the project already.

proof : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=928439.msg10216353#msg10216353

Removing the article from CryptoArticles.
That is too bad that his business is not going well. But I guess he would be better selling it off. I wonder how much he wants for this domain it is a nice name after all.

Hey, why is it the case that .com is so valuable compared to others?  Always wondered, I understand the .ca & .me and other national pecifics coming second, is there a reason .com's are the SEO domain of choice?
