it is a very good site for coders

Thanks for the suggestion.  That site has pretty much been my guide to learning everything thus far, very awesome.

I'm here to vouch that he indeed returned the old mintpal wallet of karma coin with billions of coins to us (karma team) . We are getting close to send out an email to karma users from old mintpal data base to claim their coins back.

i believe he is out there trying his best to return the coins to the rightful owners. Why don't you wait until users respond before bashing

That awkward moment when "Senior Members" call you a scammer because you asked them a wallet address where you can return their coin. Only on bitcointalk.

That awkward moment when you believe this is a trustworthy place.

if you want borrow people's time maybe go for service section and offer a bounty?

No, and people directing which category a thread fits "better" in is getting ridiculous.  This thread is just as good in off topic as it is in service you can look at it any way you would like. And if you took about 2 minutes to read all of the lines, I have no money for a bounty, clearly stated.  Some people just HAVE to get in and give their opinion on everything hey. Can't post a thread these days with this might fit here, or here, or here, yeah, it could, or, it could fit right here, where it fits.

Affilorama http://www.affilorama.com/ is the best site on the planet to learn php. They have pictures, videos, and articles all designed to do just that.

<3 thank you

Haaaaaaaaaaaalp

Hey guys,

looking for someone who might be able to lend me 10 minutes of their time and join a slack channel or skype or some form of chat.

I have been having PHP troubles with referencing apis and getting the information.  Can do this with 1 value, but i am getting confused when it comes to returning arrays and looping lalalala.  Hoping I could find someone to give me 10 minutes of their time and maybe point me in the correct direction if i showed them what I am working with.  I think it is a simple answer, I just can't seem to put it together.  Also kind of broke so really can't offer much in return, i do have a few domains or some social media marketing or design work in return if need be.

Thanks
53  Economy / Service Discussion / Seeking partners - Retailers/ecommerce accepting Bitcoin & Bitcoin news outlets on: February 24, 2015, 05:58:03 PM
Afternoon friends,

Currently seeking a handful of partners for www.enjoybitcoins.com.  We are looking to expand our enjoy member offerings and social media presence by locating a number of partners in different areas.

1. Retailers/ecommerce outlets accepting Bitcoin - We are searching for a handful (10-20) retailers that have opened the doors to bitcoin and are willing to offer an "enjoy bitcoins" discount or purchase incentive exclusive to our site.  In return, you will receive back links around the site, social media promotions, and inclusion in our banners and image based advertising.

2. Reputable news outlets - Within the enjoy dashboard, we host RSS feeds from the top Bitcoin news outlets.  Searching for 2 or 3 more news outlet partners that will be featured in our dashboard RSS.  In return we require a similar service, you will host at least 1 of our RSS feeds (we have feeds for all listings, wallets, exchanges, communities, POS, ATM service providers etc) in your sidebar or main body sharing resources with your visitors.

3.  A handful of reputable social media accounts to assist us with our Facebook and G+ precence.  In return, we will assist your twitter precence.  At the moment we utilize 4 accounts each with 3500+ earned, not bought, followers.  It would be great to find a few complimentary services (news or retail) outlets that would like to notify their visitors of quality bitcoin services, while we join in with sharing your offerings.  This step is up for discussion regarding implementation, dependent where our needs meet.

Interested?  PM me and we can discuss future potential.

Thanks guys, have a great Tuesday!

Coinfire said they saw a document confirming this is legit, is it really that hard to confirm ?

Just wrote a little something about this: https://network23.org/dogecoin/2015/02/24/coinfire-coinburned/

"This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources."

Know why ?

no, works for me.
I didn't say the page didn't load, it did, but you have these SSL issues..

And Firefox: "Some unencrypted elements on this website have been blocked"

55  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 24, 2015, 04:01:26 PM
Just pondering ... the "paycoin foundation" is run by someone who apparently lost a lot of money (personal money? his church's money?) on paycoin. If the same sort of claims were made to him that were made to the guy in Mumbai, fake "insider" information about deals with paypal and so on, then I wonder if this might have been a hostile takeover. Maybe he thinks he'll recover more of the money by trying to make a success of paycoin, than he would by legal recourse.

With control over the paycoin/paybase code they might try to turn it into a viable coin. Getting Josh out of the picture would be a positive step. Getting rid of the hyper-inflation and burning the excess coins would be a show of good faith that would be easy to do.

But then what? The problem is, without major funding what can they do that would even justify the current market cap of over ten million? Even if you had a significant development budget, which doesn't seem to be the case, what could they do?

Getting rid of the bad stuff in the code just takes you back to having a peercoin clone. Even if they could scrub the stench of scam from it there's nothing about it that would appeal to major retailers. The original whitepaper was junk. The zincsave browser plugin failed before they bought it, but it's probably the best thing they've got to work with.

As things stand it has less going for it than a lot of clone coins with market caps one tenth the size of xpy's market cap. For what it currently is, it's massively over priced.

The problem is, that paycoin just needs to go away. It is claiming to be the peoples money, better than bitcoin, but it rides bicoin's coat-tales the whole way. No success will come to a brand that is surrounding by negative publicity 24 hours a day. There is like 20 people who are behind this coin. It's been a proven waste of time and money for a lot of people.  People need to get it through their heads that your little alternative currency is not the new bitcoin, you might like it, doesn't mean the world finds utility in it. No coin will reach bitcoins merchant integration, no coin will be globally acepted the same it is just not going to happen, at least not for a long time. All pay coin does is confuse people and put money in Garzas pocket.
56  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Affiliate Programs. on: February 24, 2015, 07:11:49 AM
Hey guys,

New affiliate program here accessible from your enjoy bitcoins dashboard here - http://enjoybitcoins.com/my-account/enjoy-dashboard/.

We have made a point system that rewards based on

  • Forum topics
  • Forum replies
  • Visiting bitcoin services
  • Leaving feedback on bitcoin services
  • Referrals
  • Referral sign ups
  • and way more

The way it works is 1 point is equal value to 1 bit.  The points shop is the place where you can trade your points in for bits.

We have it limited to increments is because we are manually processing these so it protects against hundreds of little trade ins.  As they are manually processed, we try to get them done within 10 minutes, but sometimes it can take up to 8 hours, dependent upon if we are awake or sleeping.  Right now the points shop is only open for bits trade ins, but in the future we plan to offer physical items and enjoy bitcoins goods. As you climb the ranks, unique rewards and perks are unlocked such as forum signatures, charts and exchange tables, converters, other tools and in the future we are planning for an exclusive enjoy bitcoins coupons book, partnering with a handful of bitcoin accepting retailers.

Affiliate banners can be found here http://enjoybitcoins.com/forums/topic/affiliate-banners/ , since we are just getting up we will have a quick link in your enjoy bitcoins dashboard tomorrow!

59  Economy / Auctions / Re: 80 Blank mini iPhone hoodie cases on: February 23, 2015, 09:57:34 PM
Hello!  Cheesy

Description:

I have 80 blank miniature hoodie iPhone cases from my first taste of entrepreneurship, 40 are grey, 40 are black.  Fabric is cotton/poly mix and are great for promotional merchandise for any company, as they are very unique and everyone likes to pick up your phone when it's dressed up in public... They are stretchy  and fit all iPhone models except the new gigantic ones.  For adding logos, we used simple transfer paper for both colors and have a custom case in minutes,  for Bitcoin, it would be super simple to create custom phone case wallets to hand out in your area, and a cool way to show BTC's application of wallets.

Starting bid: BTC 0.4
Buy it now: BTC 1.25
End date and time: Weds Feb 25, 12:00 NOON (UTC-7)
Payment methods accepted: BTC
Additional information: Shipping from Canada! Open to whatever shipping method you would like (tracking #, first class, just mail, etc).  If the sale goes less than 0.75 the shipping will be on the buyer, anything over 0.75 I will cover the rate for ground shipping.  Let me know if you have any questions.

Hehe I like it! Pretty!
Why dont u sell them by units?  I think 80 is too many.
Regards

Hahaha!!! Great question! Originally when I bought these (just over a year ago) I got a completely custom order of 1000.  The reception was great but i found it hard to motivate myself promoting phone cases..... That being said, I realllllly just want them out of my view as I dropped a pretty decent penny on them and really have no use any longer.

I guess the target of this auction ideally would be a small business looking for an outside the box medium to promote their brand, or perhaps a person looking to promote anything in general.

Forgot to include that I can also send a few sheets of dark and a few sheets of light transfer paper with them so you can get started.

Here's a few examples of what I was doing with them -
