261  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Exotic woods from around the world with Bitcoin on: December 25, 2014, 07:02:56 PM
I would just like to say thank you and happy holidays to all of you who have helped supply me with wood this past 2 months. Unfortunately at least for the next few weeks i am unable to get the BTC to place any significant orders. Coinbase has closed my account as they said that it is "suspicious" for me to have bought $1.5 million usd worth of Bitcoin on an account that is only 2 months old. I tried explaining to them that i buy wood from all over the world with it and even gave them my business info and they still ruled that i did not satisfy the KYC requirements.

As i do not trust any of the other exchanges like circle or bitstamp further than i can throw a Volkswagen and i have twice had people try and scam me on LocalBitcoins i am left dealing only with the few contacts i have made who will deal in cash and face to face transactions. At current i am barley able to exchange $20k a week into bitcoin which is heavily hindering my buying power from you all. I am in the process of trying to work out a deal with a large off book broker who lives relatively close to me through the dark market which will resolve this issue in the future but as part of due diligence i have hired a team of top investigators to try and track a small test transaction we have made via the dark market to see if it is traceable as if they cannot trace it, neither can the fed.

In the mean time for any of you whom would like to help out i have started a buying Bitcoin thread in which i will buy as much bitcoin as you can sell via Vanilla Reload cards. I am paying stamp rate for BTC only as i do not believe that i should have to pay a premium to be able to use bitcoin for commerce as that defeats the purpose of using bitcoin all together.

Unless i have messaged you and let you know already that i still need orders filled from you, i will have to suspend all other purchases until i can resolve the Bitcoin acquisition issue unless you are able to provide Kauri in large volume from NZ as i am still in desperate need of a supplier.

Again i would like to thank all of you involved whom have helped me acquire rare and exotic wood over this past 2 months, Thanks to you i have been able to re-stock one and a half of my 2 warehouses and purchase almost $1.7 Million USD worth of wood via this forum saving myself over $1 Million usd if i would have had to use Fiat and go through a broker. This truly is a great community and Bitcoin truly can be the future of commerce once someone solves the exchange issue with a confident solution.

262  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS:GOLD/SILVER .999 CASH OUT FAST! RARE NORFEDs - LIVE PRICE-BIG ORDER DISCOUNT on: December 25, 2014, 04:59:40 PM
Do you ever come across junk coins @ .999 or higher? I go through a lot of 200 mesh .9999 silver powder doing inlay work, The markup got crazy through the suppliers so now i have just been running scratched and damaged coins and bouillon bars through the grinder then turning them to powder in the ball mill. I can't justify destroying a perfectly good looking coin but i may be interested in quite a bit of damaged goods right after the holiday. I normally try to process a pound at a time so possibly looking for 16 coins / bars that are ungraded and marred up enough that i dont feel bad about grinding them down. The closer to Spot price the better.

Thanks Techshare  Wink
I do have some 90% silver for your purpose, as well as some generic bullion @ .999 purity. Just let me know when you are ready to buy and I will get you a total. Thanks for your interest!

Happy Holidays Techshare,

Can you get me a price on 4oz .999 pure bullion please. Does not need to be fancy or nice as it will be getting ran through a crusher, then milled into powder in a ball mill. I would like to purchase some next week as soon as i am done paying for all my wood orders from this week to see what i have left over for BTC. I have been having a hell of a time buying enough BTC this past few weeks to keep up with all the things i need it for to make purchases as Coinbase has banned my account after 1.5 million usd purchased in two months as they said that it is "suspicious behavior for a new account", so i have to budget my BTC purchases to make sure i have enough to cover the wood orders i have been buying.

Thanks

267  Economy / Currency exchange / [BUYING] BTC with Vanilla Reload Cards [STAMP RATE No Premiums !!!] on: December 24, 2014, 02:42:05 AM
Many of you know me from my wooden Bitcoin art, another larger part of that operation is my "buying wood for bitcoin" service in where i buy TONS of wood from around the world from forum members using Bitcoin.

The wood buying operation has grown to immeasurable heights and i am having difficulty purchasing enough BTC to keep up with demand. Coinbase locked my account yesterday as it was "suspicious" that i created an account about 2 months ago and have already bought over $1.5 Million USD worth of Bitcoin. I dont trust Circle or any of the other exchanges any further than i can throw a Volkswagen so that option is out, and the few guys i am buying BTC from with cash face to face are having a hard time keeping up with demand. To help keep on top of the problem, i am now buying BTC from forum members for Vanilla Reload **ONLY VANILLA RELOAD**

Status: Closed

Rate: Bitstamp

Skype: thewoodcollector

Amounts Available Now:

Out of cards until tomorrow

Terms:

1:Do not bother replying/messaging if you have a default negative trust rating unless you intend on sending first or using escrow

2: Do not bother replying/messaging if you do not intend to redeem the Vanilla reload immediately, PM's on this forum are not guaranteed to be secure and i am not going to be responsible if you decide to "hang on to the code" for a few days and your messages get hacked and the funds get stolen from you. Our transaction is done 10 minutes after the exchange is made and i verify the funds before i send the PIN.

3: I am always very busy either making art or buying wood, i do my best to go and buy a few Vanillas every day to have on hand but sometimes i will have to go buy a card specifically for you, this may take a few hours, so please be patient, i will NOT have you send the BTC before i have the Vanilla PIN in my hands.

4: Again, i am always very busy making art or buying wood, it may take a while for me to reply to your trade request. Please be patient or find other buyer.

5: Due to the time it takes to run to the store and buy a Vanilla Reload card, if you make a request and i have a card in hand already within $50 below what your request is, i reserve the right to buy a lesser amount of BTC for the lesser price.

6: "In a hurry" is not something i can accommodate very often, There are other buyers on the forum who might be able to accommodate you better if you are in a rush. I just want to be honest and up-front about it, i dont want to waste your time and i dont want my time to be rushed.

7: I am online often after my local store where i buy cards is closed, If you have something to sell and the status says after hours, send me a message and let me know what you want to sell, as soon as the store opens in the morning i will happily grab a card when i do my morning pickup to facilitate your needs. If the status says closed that means i am out of cards and unable to run and get more at the moment, you can still message me with the amount you would like to sell and as soon as i am back i will run and get your card.

8: I WILL NOT purchase BTC with any other means than Vanilla Reload, it is the safest means i have found so far and Vanilla has been happy to help me prosecute people who attempt to scam me in a court of law. Thanks to Vanillas vigilance i was able to receive restitution and watch someone get a 90 day sentence last week for trying to rip me off using Localbitcoins last month.

9: This exchange is for Vanilla Reload Cards as stated in the thread title, NOT vanilla debit cards. you will receive the PIN from the vanilla reload card during this transaction. Due the added headache and time involved, i will not be e-mailing pictures or any other special requests.

Damn, this is an amazing looking coin. Well done dude!

Thanks, It was the first of the 10 piece collection for 2015. The new owner of this coin just bought a second one from the collection as well. 4 have been made so far, #5 is in process right now and was commissioned by a forum member to be custom designed for them. There will only be 5 more made for the 2015 year, meaning the minute #10 is sold, the value on all of them will pretty much double as no amount of money will get me to make another one for the 2015 year and anyone who is holding one at the moment knows they cannot be forged or faked.

I have really enjoyed working with the Bitcoin Community, some of the best clients i have had in 20 years have come from here. I will be releasing a new project/collection that is not coins sometime in February as well for the Bitcoin Community.

Raffle

I have had a lot of people request a raffle for an item for those who like to gamble and dont have a lot of money to spend on one of my art pieces, being the holiday season and things being slow i figured this piece would make the perfect item to raffle off.

I am selling 20 raffle tickets to win "Claire" the Waterfall Water Pipe. This makes your odds of winning 1 in 20 per ticket purchased. The winner will be responsible for paying shipping to their destination. The winner also gets to choose from the 3 bowls i have on hand at the moment which one they want with the piece.

The drawing will be held once all 20 tickets are sold and the winner will be selected using random.org to pick the number.

Due to the busy holiday season, please post the number of tickets you wish to purchase and the #/#'s of the ticket you wish to purchase as well. I will message you directly with a payment address for your tickets. Although i will be online at least a few hours a day, i cannot sit behind a computer all day over the Christmas holiday, i will send you a message as soon as i am online.

Tickets will be reserved on a first come first serve basis, please check the posts above yours to see if the # you want has been taken already, i will update the list in the OP at least once a day.

50% of the proceeds from this raffle will be donated to the FEED THE CHILDREN campaign sponsored by Dabs

Beautiful artwork, wish it was something I could afford. What denominations so far have been created and what denominations are you planning in full for the 10 coins of 2015?

So far there are 2 1BTC coins and 2 10BTC coins. Nothing is ever really planned, 2 of the 4 made so far were commissioned and two i made as the design just came to me. After a brief conversation i am sure that coin #5 is being commissioned tomorrow and it will have whatever denomination the client requests. At this rate all 10 will be sold before the end of January. Good news for me as i can spend more time working on other Bitcoin art, sad news for those who didnt buy one as they will have to wait until December 2015 to buy one of the 2016 coins.

I have a 1,000BTC fully funded coin for 2014 but it is mine and in my own personal collection and the only one i made for 2014, it has 24karat gold, .9999 fine silver, and multiple colored diamond inlays into Gabon Ebony Wood. It is not and probably will never be for sale as it would take at least $1,000,000 USD worth of Bitcoin minimum for me to ever let it go.

wow, can we see a pic of the 1000btc coin?

Sure, right after the holidays when I get back to the gallerygallery.
