Hey admin

it's time to enable withdrawals again
Don't worry, seems admin is busy and there are dev works on website because of 1 august and also admin wasn't here online after 30 july. I think we will see withdraw option available on 3 august of forum time.
I play here sometimes and never had any problems, hope admin will be active soon.

Thank you shield...

I apologies for the delay, everything is clear and the site is currently on maintenance for the next few hours ( please expect some downtime ). Withdrawal will also be enabled soon Smiley

Is there any statement from SafeDice about the BCC fork?

Will you pay us on both chains?

What do you mean? I do not think that they gonna pay you in both currency. Each aite muat choose for their coin. For example if they continue to use btc then you will get btc instead of bitcoin cash. The problem is I do not know if they accept bitcoin cash, do they pay us in equivalent number of btc we hold or convert it 1:1 because I never saw any site saying that how will they do about their withdrawal to bitcoin cash

Each site must choose their coin, Ok, but other sites will pay the respective amount of the another currency (that they won't adopt) to our address.

Example: If I have 1 BTC on the casino, they will pay 1 BCC to the address I inform them. And the 1 BTC will continue there on balance.

I would like to know if SafeDice will do this too.

Hello all, my apologies for the delay responding this matter.

I confirm that your BCC is yours, no need to worry. I'm also considering to add BCC related feature in SD if there's lot of request. Regardless, you'll get your BCC from SafeDice.

Please be aware that automatic withdrawal will be disabled around Aug 1. I may need to disable a bit earlier to avoid problem with pending transaction. Sorry for the inconvenience, I hope this is understandable.

XMR hot wallet has been empty for a week.

looks like either they are out of funds or they don't care paying attention to the user experience on the site.

XMR is doing fine, people made deposit and withdrawal normally now and last week. Please note that PID is mandatory and you can't withdraw to your deposit address. If you still have any trouble please drop me an email and I'll check for the reason why your withdrawal was failed.

hey SafeDice, what about any possible disruption on the Bitcoin network that might happen in case of a split.
What are your plans? Will you stop deposits, investiments, withdrawals, bets etc.?

After your site was affected by several DDOS I have left but I would like to join and play again so I would like to know more about the above.

Thanks

Deposit and investment will work normally and it shouldn't affect us in any way. I'm considering to stop automated withdrawal for some short period of time, until the fork is becoming more stable. This is similliar to the same statement I made when we had discussion on bitcoin unlimited.

I don't see what could be the possible problems not removing automated withdrawals?

I have also expereienced an empty hot wallet, however, the next time I logged in I was able to withdraw without a problem
So, I see you're working on it, just try to have a bit more funds in your hot wallets as a lot of users have complained they weren't able to withdraw at a certain time.

Do you mean it's completely ok to remove automated withdrawal for the critical period? I think so, but I'll try to minimize the downtime for user convenient.

Thank you for confirming the withdrawal. I have refilled the hot wallet again, and will keep on monitoring the balance.

He can tell me an email I send, I do not want to send many emails but his attitude shows that he deserves to be scorned. . I'm not talking about the web and we're not talking about it anymore but there is one person who treats his customers like this, only safedice. Everyone has a job and not just him.

I know some of them are busy to manage this thing. And it ia really annoying to have some bad support like this, but I can assure you they will do the payout for sure. What you need to do is to wait them aftet they fix this thing. They have on this problem been so long, I do not know how long until they fix this. Just need to be more patient is what you can do for now

How pathetic to see their absence for those errors around and maybe its good thing to teach them a lesson so that they would think that its better to act nicely to gather costumer satisfactory rate. Since waiting for their counter action for so long is quitely annoying since at the first place its our money that needed to care off safedice should close down their business if they can't afford to give some time here.

Firstly I want to apologies to those having this inconvenience. We tried our best to solve all issue one by one ( remember those frequent DDOS attack last month? It has been solved and if you noticed there was no single downtime ever since ) but I admit that we are still far from perfect.

I reckon the lowest amount in our hot wallet in the last week was around 3-4 btc, with mostly around 5 btc, withdrawal below those amount should be processed automatically. I have put more and will try to manage larger withdrawal as usual.

I also admit I missed some of the email last week, usually I replied within 24 hours. But I should have replied all by now, and most of the problems have been resolved by itself since last week.

@ tiendientuvn, I can't search your username on my inbox. I have one email chain from vietnam username which sent me like 25 emails within one email chain (5 email in 5 hours initially) but I'm not sure its you. Just in case you still have any trouble, please send me email with your username and I'll ensure to prioritize you. I noticed that you are frequent player in SD, if you still have your patience, lets have a nice chat and see what we can do.

still losing connection........can this be fixed?

Cheers Jon  Huh

Yes, my apologies for this problem.

We will be undergoing maintenance within the next few hours to improve the site's responsiveness. Please expect some downtime.

Can't Login. Anyone else having issues?

I am online right now. I think the issue is fixed if there was one.

Thank you Juicey, I think it was me putting the server into maintenance for an hour or so ( should have announced, it took longer than expected I'm sorry)

wow safedice is very popular,
many people trying DDOS and hack site.

that mean is,safedice is best gambling site.

Smiley

DDOS most is only for extortion, it would cost them resources to continue DDOS.

Yes I agree, there were more than one attempt asking for money to stop DDOS . Of course I never paid them, as long as I understand the pattern usually it can be solved. It will still be difficult for some serious DDOS ( even blockchain.info and polo were down cause of this afaik), but I guess they are very costly for the attacker

The site has been stable for 2 days now, if everything is well in the next 1 - 2 days I think we're done with this problem
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: June 25, 2017, 04:01:50 AM

We are still reporting at safedice things are slowly fading. Ddos attacks have completely prevented participants from playing, and on my behalf, the team announced that everyone should stop playing in safedice until it stabilizes. If you keep playing, bring the money and give it to the poor. So it would be more meaningful. Thanks everyone

I hope you have tried the site yourself, the attacks were lasting only for few hours, all functions work normally after that. And our wager amount within the last few weeks are increasing.

SafeDice are getting DDoSed again. I can't login and can't pass the home page.

This is unacceptable. Nowadays there are DDoS protected providers at decent price. Safedice could have one of the lowest edge but this doesn;t compensate the lack of support and maintenance! You should do something or all of your players will find a more better supported alternative. Like me, lately playing mainly at duckdice and yolodice.

Site is back up now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you Juicey ...

Again I deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused by this ...

We used to have frequent DDoS attack few months ago, then we used a DDoS protection and it solved the problem for few months. In some cases these DDoS attack isn't so simple that DDoS protection does not work well , especially when I'm not online to change the security level.

I'm currently working on this issue , and for the time being I'll continuously monitoring the server and adjust the protection level accordingly. The side effect of this is that you may need to enter captcha frequently. Please expect this to happen once in a while in the next few days.

Thanks for the update - hope it gets solved soon!

New update ! We have found and fixed the issue as well as increasing our capacity. All functions work normally now and it has been a while since we found any delay on our service. I'll keep on monitoring just in case there is anything new.

Happy rolling !!

My apologies for the inconvenience, hot wallet should be enough by now. Please retry the withdrawal.

just had almost $1,000 stolen by someone who hacked my account on this site

almost means your balance is not yet been haced right? So I think your balance is still safe and that would be no problem here. But the only thing is why you can be hacked? Do you ot put any protection like 2FA? Because when you put this on, there is no possible hacker wil be able to hack your account

Put 2fa is still possible to be hacked especially if the hacker is his own close friends/families who can borrow his PC/phone where he install the authenticator or his PC/phone was stolen.
But not really sure about this case, probably yes he did not put 2fa and he clicked on suspicious link that steal his credentials.
Maybe it would be a good choice not to lend our PC or handphone to any of our friends when 2fa protection is enable in our account on casino sites, as whenever there is money involved, it is always a sensitive issue towards friends or even relatives, so it would be better to take safety precaution to safeguard our own assets.

I'm really sorry for the loss. To be frank I can't help you if the withdrawal / bet was made legally. But if you want , please email me your username and proof of account ownership , I'll take a look into your account and see if I can help you to identify the theft.

For the time being , I can only suggest to use 2fa to secure your account when registering on any crypto site.

It's very simple, you offer a service, provide it or don't offer the service. I am not interested in reading anymore dribble from you, take your built up inner anger and direct it elsewhere. There's probably some starving kids who should have researched which trash bin had the most scraps you can shit on.

Which service had he failed to provide exactly? Hot wallet got empty. Happens to every dice site from time to time.

You just wrongly assumed all withdrawals are always processed instantly, and didn't follow instructions because you're too lazy/dumb to find a contact details.

And yet you will read it. Interested or not.

Thank you pawel for your explanation !

I am having the same issue about withdrawal as stated above. Just wanted to thank you guys as a a Google search of the error lead me to here. Great to have a place to read people's past experiences!

My apologies for all the inconvenience, as always all withdrawal requests have been processed. If you have problem please just retry as the hot wallet has been refilled

The coin purse still has no money to let players withdraw. I felt safedice was no longer enthusiastic with their web

We have processed ~ 10 btc withdrawal recently and I also attempted to refill the hot wallet with regular 200 sat / byte fee but it is unconfirmed ( 2503c37828f821b82a8099d9005d13c43c4adee0653c121d770b2408045d2098 ). I have just refilled with bigger fee, it should be able to cover withdrawal for some time.

I absolutely trust safedice on every issue. I used to deposit money into my account and forgot my password so many times. Definitely it's more than 2. Just look at my mail sending is know right, support know that. But using safedice mail @ protonmail.com that is a mail to me is very bad. I send a lot of mail but it's spam and then type. Safedice has the only problem of poor support. He raises money to hire staff to support his services

Sorry to make you wait tien, I have replied to your email, please check again =)
And what do you mean by it's spam and then type?

What is the minimum deposit, withdrawal & withdrawal fee??

No min deposit, withdrawal will depend on investment amount / hot wallet, and we use fixed fee of 10k sat.

Wanted to withdraw

It shows

Something went wrong, please contact us directly.

Contacted the email, still has no reply :/

Did you try to refresh you browser? or even try to check your internet connection? if no problem in the said thoughts well i think much better if you leave some message in their account here in bct or maybe provide some screenshot of the problem occuring here so that if the dev will visit on this thread he can easily checkout that there's a problem on one of their player. And for now maybe the best thing to do is to wait for them to reach up on you and if many days will past then its better to file some complain.

Did you encounter this issue before?

After i enter the payment address, id, withdraw amount and 2fa

It shows me this

I have just replied your email, sorry to make you wait. Please share me the payment ID of your withdrawal, you can only use long format payment ID or the new integrated format which has no payment ID.

Hello Zach,

I'm sorry to make you wait. But again, there's something really wrong with your case. Out of our thousand players, I've never encountered a case similar to yours, even with those with much larger balance. No matter how much I investigate I found nothing on your log.

I appreciate your interest to keep on playing but as I said earlier, if you can't trust me, then please don't deposit here.

Christ sakes, I run a secure linux box and I live alone, and had 2fa, yet someone w/d btc from my account?  I have enough in the bank that I do not need to resort to scamming people.  This is unreal.
Yeah, it seems impossible to happen if your funds were transferred without any log information.
He is right, better to not deposit if you don't believe the site, but unfortunate for your lost, nothing we can do since its already gone.
However, we should aware to keep bitcoin on a site which I found sometimes really heard to cash out what we've put in.

I mean I found nothing wrong on the log, there was a withdrawal , only from Zach's explanation it doesn't belong to him.

Hello SafeDice
I am a frequent player at your site and today I made a very big mistake, and I am wondering if you could help me.
I am use to setting odds on most dice sites (e.g 2.2x, 2.5x, and so on)
Today I was playing and was supposed to play 2.2x (double every loss) I was in a very big rush
I accidentally played 2.2% odds instead
See screenshot below:

I did not mean to do this, it is obvious I was supposed to be playing 2.2x odds, I thought I was just unlucky not to win until I looked and realized I was playing 2.2% CHANCE and not 2.2x ODDS....

I am asking for a refund on this loss, I did not mean to do this and I am asking for staff to look into my case. $5700 is a lot of money to me, If i lose from my own gambling it is fair enough, but I did not mean to play 2.2% chance and I would have won on second roll if I played my intended 2.2x odds.

I am asking for some compensation at least. I am happy to donate 0.1BTC for my mistakes, I will even roll in this pattern again just to prove myself.

Please look into my case admins

Admin can't really refund you anything. You lost due to your own mistake. Your loss is the investors' profit (as the bankroll is crowdfunded). By issuing refund, admin would either have to steal from investors, or pay you from his own pocket. None of these will happen.

I know you're telling the truth and feel sorry for your loss, but you just have to accept it. I've made a similar mistake once before and I know how it feels.

And I'm pretty sure that if you happened to win at 2% chance, you wouldn't even be considering returning the money to the site. Sometime ago other player made the same kind of mistake, but he won and took the vast majority of bankroll with him. Things can go either way.

Thank you pawel for explaining the situation ...

I'm sorry for your loss bamin, the amount wasn't small for anyone , but there is nothing I can do with this one. I think pawel's explanation is already clear enough. I hope you can calm down and understand the situation.
36  Economy / Gambling / Re: IMPORTANT ★ Your password may have been stolen!!! on: May 05, 2017, 02:50:50 PM
Thanks for letting us know. You could always be silent about this issue and avoid potential PR problems.

If SafeDice wasn't compromised by any form of attack, then do you have any suspicion or theory which other casino/dice service was breached?
Was there any reports from users who complained that their online balance was stolen recently or they noted other suspicious activity?

I don't store plain text password, and the encryption that I use is invulnerable to rainbow attack. My theory is that the breached service ( it doesn't have to be dice / casino site ) is not a new service, it has more than 10k active bitcoin users. One of the potentially breached account was from an old user of Safedice that I know, this is the reason of my concern.

So far I don't think there was any report linked to this case. I think most of the breached account that does not use 2FA has very low balance.

Any further information re the source of these failed login attempts? Perhaps an email confirmation before withdrawal will help? or maybe withdrawal only allowed for logins using ip addresses from the same country/region?

You can use ip to verify if those accounts were opened from the ip user most often use to sign in. Otherwise send a confirmation msg to the user's email so that they can open the account from the link sent to their email or lock that account and post a notification on your site that any user who's account locked can contact you or support to get them unlock with some details like email or btc address he oftenly withdraws to.

I considered this one, but I prefer our users to be anonymous. I have disabled withdrawal for suspicious account.

I think the breach was from Bitsler.com . The admin doesn't want to reveal, but there are some account leaks happening from Bitsler website. Over 17k accounts plain text had been leaked here and another places.

I think this is very dangerous for the Bitcoin community, and bitsler admin should take some action! Many bitsler users are claiming they got their account hacked and I had my bitsler accounts stolen too.

I don't want to accuse anyone , I'll leave any judgement to the community

To all of our users, please check this:

=== disclaimer before I go into detail : this case has nothing to do with Safedice ===

As a dice site owner (SAFEDICE.COM), recently I noticed on my log that there were many failed sign in attempts ( thousand of them ). Those failed attempts were using a username that does not exists on our database. However, there were also many correct attempts, probably around 20% of them.

This is not a brute force attack, since each trial use a different combination of username and password. Not to mention that brute force attack will be rejected by our server. the attacker seems to have a list of username and password, this make it difficult for me to differentiate between an attack and normal login. I have a strong suspicion that the list was acquired from another bitcoin site.

To all of you concerned with the safety of your account, whether its on SafeDice or another site, please always use 2FA and different password for each site.

I have just created a tool for SafeDice users to check if there was suspicious login attempt on their account. You can type /amisafe in the chat room, the server will reply you with the result. For those of you just want to check your username, you can just sign up and check immediately.

Again I strongly encourage everyone in bitcoin community to use 2FA whenever possible, and if there is any other bitcoin site owner has information about this please share this information.

Ah so Safedice is also here. I used to play in this site few months ago when I haven't discovered bitcointalk yet. Looks pretty cool but I stopped when I got busy with my job. Sad that they have too many complains here.
Same here I think support are fixing this because this bad complain will affect the site many of us playing on this site but now we stop untill the complaint are all fixed
Precisely, support is very important. Having a bad complaint will be difficult to attract more gambles. And I suggest to add more features to be more attractive.
I think this sites is probably fair because so far no one complain that they are being scam.

And its over several days and there is no update on this issue. I am saying the site has cheated but it will do more to put the mind of new readers and even those who have opened the thread at any point in time to understand whether the issue has been resolved or not in other to boost their confidence on the site no matter the volume of the transaction involved. I hope this is attended to by admin.
