Hello pawel, sorry there was an issue on preloaded link with minimum wager, we have just fixed that Smiley You can try to register using the same link again or please let me know if you want the balance to be credited to hkloss2.

Works like a charm now. Thanks for getting this sorted out.

Your welcome Smiley Thanks for reporting!

Just adding additional feature: now you can set a minimum withdrawal for players registered using your preloaded link, this make sure your preloaded balance doesn't get withdrawn right away Smiley

Hi. I was just testing this option, created pre-loaded ref link (0.001) on my account (pawel7777). I registered new acc through that link (username: hkloss2) but my balance is zero, so nothing has been credited.

It would also be very useful to have a tracking option on preloaded ref links with the option to cancel if unused etc.

Hello pawel, sorry there was an issue on preloaded link with minimum wager, we have just fixed that Smiley You can try to register using the same link again or please let me know if you want the balance to be credited to hkloss2.

Are you guys still accepting bitcoin house investments or no? If so, how do I invest?

You need to ask either here, or in chat (if you see admin there) to unlock this option for you. That's what I did.

Yes, we still accept investment, but only under request. Let me know your username / account id and I'll unlock it for you.

I played today a little on SafeDice and hmm... it's the dice site I like the most from the ones I visited.
And it's not because of the graphics - which are nice, but some things I am used with are missing or at least not where I'd expect them, but not a big deal actually - it's because of how it works.

It's not something like 49.75% for low, 0.5% for house and 49.5% for high - it's 50% low and 50% high and only if you win, the house will also gets its share.
This implementation wonderful!

Yeah, I've lost 0.01 BTC - I had 9 losing bets in a row, yeah - but that happened after about 2h of gambling, so I had my share of good time.

Thank you for trying the site neuroticfish Smiley Happy to know that you enjoy your stay.

Happy week end guys!

1 million bets passed!

Well done to "Krostovi4". I was close at 999999.

But why the bets IDs are not in order?

That is strange, but your own bets (1000003 -> 1000006 -? 1000007 -> 1000010) and other players' bets (999996 -> 999997 -> 100000) are in order.

Yes, the other players' bets are streamed using a different stream (less priority and might get delayed a few secs) while a player's own bets are displayed using real time stream.

Congrats on hitting 1 million. Honestly surprised you guys have gotten so much business but good to see some up-and-coming competition for the bigger sites.

Thank you KoS! We are grateful that the community gives us a chance to start Smiley

I think we have one good solution since the invention of provably fair system. With the right implementation, its a brilliant trust less system. I understand that when faced with really unfortunate event, sometime we can't think straight and need to find something to be blamed (I hear some drama about this in JD), but in the end most of us will just accept the fact.

So far "most" players in SD doesn't complains about their luck, but I guess we are still relatively new and haven't promote the site outside this forum. Except for the trolls, most people reading this forum should be relatively smart and logical.
I just tried to help. Yes, the "provably fair system" is a GREAT leap forward, still, you have to agree that sometimes bugs can happen.
I've seen stories where better PR like "OK, written down, we will investigate this" could have had better outcome than (the more or less) laughing on the one claiming... things Wink
But you my be also right, maybe what I am talking about are very rare cases and you don't need to worry about.

Sure Cheesy, and of course I agree bug can happen.
By the way I'm not sure who did you refer by the one laughing on the idea, if it is me, then I'm sorry, it was never my intention.

And..... We also just pushed a small feature, investment profit now displayed under the invest tab Smiley (credit goes to rexxludi!)

Wow! Great addition indeed!

Thank you sir!

800,000++ bets and keep going!
Can we reach 1,000,000 before Christmas? Cheesy

That's too conservative, we're hitting 1,000,000 bets by tomorrow  Cheesy

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

By looking into his server seed, you probably lock his *destiny*, so no matter how many thoughts he gives to attract a winning roll, the result wouldn't change.

And of course, as a site op, it's hard for me to accept these kind of concept.

There are 3 big things, in no particular order: scams, bad luck and buggy software.
When somebody is losing "too much", he will complain of scams (altering the future, ha-ha!) and bugs.
When somebody complains, the site admin will tell it was bad luck.

It's a kind of war with no good middle solution yet.
When some of the gambling site admins will become more "trusted" and will also learn better PR (even with those claiming the future is altered), the things will get better.

say I want to run two martingales at the same time, I would need two different accounts.

you can use 2 different browsers at a time or you can use incognito mode in chrome..

You could use two tabs in the same browser, both looking at the same account - couldn't you?

dooglus' post reminds me of this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schr%C3%B6dinger%27s_cat Cheesy
Those bets are still independent and totally random (the cat is both alive and dead), unless the server seed is revealed (the box is opened).

I once had a player on Just-Dice who complained that I had looked at his server seed and "looked into his future" to see how many rolls it would take for him to hit the 1-in-10000 shot he was aiming for.

He complained that by just looking I had changed the future in some kind of quantum mechanical way.

So I stopped looking. But it seemed kind of silly to me.

There's also law of attraction: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_attraction_%28New_Thought%29

can we use multiple accounts on one browser at the same time?

What is the benefit of using multiple accounts at the same time?
The bets are all independent and so using different accounts shouldn't affect your luck at all.

All rolls are effectively predetermined. Some seeds will be luckier than others in the short term, based on how you play. But most significantly, gamblers are suspicious and superstitious.

also I noticed a bug, sometimes the auto bet will freeze and stop betting. It wont start even if I hit the auto bet button. I have to refresh the page.

i think auto rolls reached 0 roll thats why it stops Tongue

Yes, other than invalid parameter (not enough amount, bigger than max win, etc), those can also happen when I restart the server (which I did several hours ago) or when the auto rolls reached 0.
Did you checked your roll limit before you refreshed the browser?

No chaoman, I'm afraid that's not possible by default. Except you open another browser window in incognito / private mode Smiley

This should be the default behavior of other websites, FB / GMail also works this way.

any plans that we can have options to increase/decrease the risk of our investment? Smiley

it would be great if they could add this feature  Wink

Heyy Seket and Yenzae, yes I can still remember this request few days ago. Sorry that it hasn't been implemented yet,  we still focus on non-investment related feature first, but this is on our list Wink

Guys, we now have leaderboard! Check it out at https://safedice.com/leaderboard

is there any reward for being in the top of the leaderboard?

Currently there's no giveaway leaderboard program Smiley

We will focus on promotion, but probably not a sig campaign yet... Do you have any suggestion on how to promote the site?

You should try to get it listed on gambling directory/reviews sites, such as:

http://bitcoincasino.info/ thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=714266.0

http://www.bitfever.org/

http://bitcoinchaser.com/

There's probably many more.

I'd start with contacting NLNico:

http://dicesites.com thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=877078.0

Other than that, you can consider some small on-site giveaways or contests etc

Thank you so much for this pawel, we'll definitely work on this soon.

Nice site Smiley

Just a FYI, the "Get Started" button doesn't work on Firefox browser for some reason.

Hey, thanks Jamie Cheesy

We just tested using Firefox but it looks fine, are you sure it's not because of something else? Maybe it was waiting for the registration to complete?
Just tried it again and all was well, must have been an issue on my end.

Thanks for the quick response!

Your welcome, let me know if there's anything else! Smiley

There's not a faucet on this site?  Huh

The graphics are rellay nice, and the house edge is the lowest.. But faucet is primary for me Cheesy

Faucet is not a good idea, it discourages the small players from depositing. Instead of depositing small amounts, many would likely choose to abuse the faucet instead. And it would probably interfere with the current investment and referral systems.

What are the benefits? More low-quality traffic?

Gotta agree with this guy. Faucets just invite abusers, spammers and the like. Site seems to be fine as is without it. Why mess with a good thing?

Thanks for the feedback guys....!
We are more into pawel & rulishix idea at the moment. If a player want to test the site, they can bet with 0 amount first.

Nice feature. I like the leaderboard too, not sure is it new or maybe I didn't notice it before.

I see you finally got few 'bigger' players.

Are you planning to run any promo campaign anytime soon?

Thanks! Good to know that you like it!

Leaderboard is still very new, I haven't announced it here Cheesy

Yes, and some of them are frequent player too.

358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your strategy on dice sites? on: December 12, 2014, 02:18:01 PM
It depends.

What do you want to achieve?

1. I want to win most of the time
Play with high winning chance, martingale

2. I want to win a lot
Bet higher amount, utilize variance

3. I want to play for entertainment
Bet only an amount you can afford to lose, play in the place with the lowest house edge such as safedice with 0.5% H.E. Roll Eyes

4. I want to live from gambling, I want to win in the long run
Just don't, it's a -EV game
