1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is made for all men women and Children world wide on: January 20, 2015, 05:25:41 AM
oh yeah, women and children better get to learning on how cold storage works.

If women can't even create a txt file in the appdata roaming folder and change the file extension to .conf, then obviously they shouldn't be allowed money in the first place.

Lol I see what you're saying, I just asked one of my friend to send me a file, not too big around 2mb and she said she is not able to attach it with e-mail, I told her to use any of the 100s of file sharing website, she just replied she's not able to figure them out.

Bitcoin might finally begin to repair the damage to children and families that the government and its money have done.

As things are now, women "don't need men" because the government takes men's money and gives it to women for free.  The government and women have decided that children don't need their own fathers anymore.  Children without fathers are much more likely to fail in life and/or go to prison.

But if women can't figure out how to use Bitcoin, once again they will admit that they need men.  I'm kidding, but at the same time Bitcoin should make you more aware of how you use your money and who you allow access to it.

We spend our entire lives working for money that we can't control, and that money is used against us.  The work that kills us, the stress that causes us to die 20 years earlier than women, everything we do to support our own children - all of that is taken from us and used as a weapon to steal our children away from us.

I have a friend with a disabled wife.  She needs a wheelchair to get around, and he has spent 18 years of his life working to pay for her every need, and driving her everywhere she needs to go.  He sat next to her while a government worker told her "You could get more money for disability if you divorce your husband."  The government encouraged her to divorce her husband, and they plan to use HIS money as a bribe to get her to leave him and take his son.

She declined the bribe, but millions of women have accepted it.  The government is a man whispering in your wife's ear, telling her he can take care of her better than you can, as long as she kicks you out of your own house and lets him move in.

So it's an application that accepts your Bitcoin deposits, but you can't withdraw Bitcoins from it.

HOW MANY OF THESE CAN I DOWNLOAD?

As Netnox mentioned in his post above, the next version of the app allows you to withdraw your coins to any address, so you can just wait for the next release if you don't trust it now.

Why would I wait, when I could download an app that allows me to deposit Bitcoin but doesn't allow me to withdraw Bitcoin?  That's all you need, why wait for some promises of future fancy features?

PayCoin will SOON allow you to buy from Amazon.com!  Get it now, before it works!

The U.S. government issues debit card money which is only for Women, Infants, and Children.

In other words, everyone but grown men.

I prefer Bitcoin.

Grown men, also.
I sell insurance to plenty of men that use the Social Security Debit cards for their monthly premiums.
The government does not exclude any one group.

I, too, prefer Bitcoin.

WIC stands for Women, Infants, Children.

So, as I said, it is a government-issued debit card money which is for everyone except me and my age/gender group.

Then i thought hey gaw sold miners for so long they must be legit. Seems like legit went the way of greed and corruption really hardcore so i feel your pain

I don't think GAW was ever legit.  Supposedly the only miners they ever sold were just Zeus miners they bought from someone else and re-labeled them as Black Widows or whatever.

Then, according to what I've read, they kept taking orders for mining hardware but never delivered, and eventually just told people they could have Hashlets instead of hardware.  But the Hashlets never existed either, and they finally admitted that they never had any Scrypt miners at all.  Everyone who bought Scrypt Hashlets were just getting paid btc according to what a Scrypt miner "would have earned".

1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Will End the Nation State on: January 20, 2015, 02:39:43 AM
Imagine: When people demonstrate against something the state is supposedly doing wrong and there is police forces defending then the latter people are not voluntarily doing this job. They do it because they get paid for this. They get paid with the money the government controls and whose use it enforces on the people

If Bitcoin was the only money in the world, there would still be governments.  Governments would still pay soldiers and police, and those people would still need that money to feed their children.

Who signs something like that? SN.  It's not just some kid...this is a very intelligent game theoretical solution for a serious economic situation.

It is a brag almost, if its correct. The author seems to KNOW its correct.

The author, "snagain", is all over the reddit thread.  He seems to have plenty of time to try to convince the people who don't believe him or don't get it, sorry
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Disappear Day on: January 20, 2015, 02:34:06 AM
The mystique of Satoshi thing is good for the bitcoin, within 12 months we'll see the question growing in the media "Who is Satoshi?"

I can picture a silhouette with a question-mark where the face should be on the cover of TIME magazine.

Good guess, but it was Newsweek within 36 months.

1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A low Bitcoin is a good Bitcoin on: January 20, 2015, 02:06:39 AM

The price of bitcoin is always at the right price. using your 2 examples - if you enter the market place with 20 million dollars to buy bitcoin  you might well find you will not get them all for $1. they will go up. So you might only need say 5,000 bitcoins to send the 20 million dollars.
If 500 million people have bitcoin and want to spend $10 worth  you might find they can do that by selling just a satoshi.

Unless you are buying and selling bitcoin to make money (speculating) then  the price of a bitcoin is irrelevant.

So for the purpose of transferring 20 million dollars, I could buy a few million bitcoins for $1 each, and then I could pay $100 each for the rest of them, and you think I could feel safe sending those bitcoins and calling it 20 million dollars?

Who would I send them to?

Who would accept them for payment, when some of them cost $1 and some of them cost $100?

If I bought the first million for $1 each, and then I paid $100 each for the last of them, why would I send millions of bitcoins and call it $20million when the current price of bitcoin is now $100 each?

Maybe you want to just agree with me and say "If Bitcoin was $1.00 then nobody could use it to send someone a value of 20 million dollars"

1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A low Bitcoin is a good Bitcoin on: January 19, 2015, 09:54:40 PM
There are only a few million bitcoins in existence.

Therefore, the price will go much higher, or bitcoin will not be used around the world by millions of people.

If I wanted to send 20 million dollars in bitcoin, but the price of bitcoin was only $1.00, I would have to buy all the bitcoins in existence.  And I still wouldn't have enough bitcoins.

Similarly, if 500 million people wanted to spend $10.00 a day in bitcoin, the price of 1 bitcoin would have to be a lot higher than $100.  Otherwise there wouldn't be enough bitcoins for the system to work.

So a low price isn't necessarily good for bitcoin.  It just means that there aren't many people using bitcoin.

Ecuador's official currency is the U.S. Dollar, but I understand they want to outlaw Bitcoin and launch their own government cryptocurrency.

I'm really sorry to hear that man, hope everything works out.  The PayCon community is real and we will help if we can.  It sounds like your problems can't be fixed with a fundraiser, so if all we can do is take over your work then we will do that for you.  Whatever else happens, remember that you've done some good things for a lot of people.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm offering 4 Million NXT to buyout LTBcoin on: January 19, 2015, 03:14:10 PM
Dang, cool idea. Really curious what they'll say. Did you write them directly?
It sounds like an offer nobody could deny - and it's obviously great for NXT too. Very generous of you!

That's expensive.  We'll sell you PayCon for 1 Million NXT.

Well, OK - if nobody else steps up.... I'll take your NXT so you can give me Paycoin.

No, it's PayCon, trade symbol CON.

"An attack will be defined as an attempt that halts markets on, or triggers significant alerts from, all major exchanges,"

igotspots,

Are you inviting people to attack exchanges?

Please clarify.  Otherwise, this could mean delisting at Poloniex.

Attack successful!  I admit, that was fast.  They raised confirms, so obviously your topic here triggered significant alerts and was a successful attack.  Pay yourself the $1000 as promised.

Or would Bittrex have to raise confirms too before you win?
