If you clearly understood how merit works than you would not have made this thread, eventually account farmers/traders will run out of merit and it won't be possible to do.

What's the big issue with privacy? All the posts are public, and if you are doing something illegal through PMs, you should be doing it away from a public forum. Is it just that people want to post without accepting responsibility for their opinions?
Our emails and passwords are not public, nor are our IPs (unless we embed a pixel size image in a post to track that info) our shipping Info that we send via PM or privote are not public either. What is the big issue with privacy? Isn't that one of the reasons why bitcoin was created in order for a fast and private way to send bitcoins? |

I think you should suggest books to read, If a non-english speaker went to read huckleberry fin, or the original treasure island I think that would be counter productive. I don't understand how you can suggest reading books if you don't understand the language how is it supposed to help You think I could just pick up a book in spanish and read it and better understand it? |

I've kept the coin in a closed coin box for all these years.
Unfortunately I do not have the hologram anymore. Even if I did, I probably wouldn't include it. My real identity can easily be solved so I don't want my bitcoins or trades with bitcoins to be tracked. But that's just an excuse, I got rid of the hologram when I emptied the coin.
Well with what,, 14? 25BTC opened this year, unless you used a mixer I think it would be pretty easy for someone like Quickseller to figure out which one you owned. Maybe a little harder if you opened it last year as there were 82? opened in 2017 But I doubt if you opened it last year and held onto it so long but who knows |

So isn't the price of a loaded 25 cas btc, like 26-27? With the forks it has about 28 BTC worth on it. if you add in say 0.5 btc as the price for the coin peeled I just think it is crazy that its better to peel a coin than to sell it

You can't possibly think that taxes are theft because it pays for public goods that everyone enjoys. I think you could argue that the rate of taxes are too high and that more wealthy persons can use their assets to essentially pay less than the average middle class worker

People obviously do just do trades with the right people to get trusted feedback. The easiest to abuse though are people selling digital goods for fairly cheap and that is what was happening with TheButterZone's emails he was selling. The vast majority - if not all - the people who purchased them had likely just worked out they could buy a cheap 'green feedback' from him. Based on checking his feedback, he hasn't sold any email forwarding since he was removed from DT2. That confirms your theory as of why people bought it. Buying physical goods is much more expensive and you have to give out personal information that exposes you which is something I wouldn't want to do here for obvious reasons.
That isn't completely true. I can transfer a domain name to you without any information at all other than your registrar account name. I wouldn't call a domain naim a physical good. Those are things you can touch after they arrive at your real shipping address. How can you say that TBZ hasn't sold any emails forwarding service since he was removed? There are plenty of newbis that buy goods in the physical and don't get any trust |

I just observed that I can send merit to my own post but I am afraid that is not right or I'll be punished by getting banned for doing it?
Has anyone ever tried sending merit to themselves? Has that created an issue? Is it okay to do so?
I personally think that AS merit was created to reward meaningful and informative posts sending merit to self would be wrong. I just want to know that has anyone tried doing it.
Don't you think that if you could send merit from your own account to yourself it would defeat the whole purpose of it? Try it and find out. You cannot do it. |
