Owner keeps the right to cancel the auction at any time and keep the coin.
How about you go somewhere else and waste other people's time? Roll Eyes

Plenty of way more trusted users do this. Why is it a problem when a new user does it

Show me one, please?

It will probably take me an hour to find it but I am going to start looking now

Same thing but worded differently. Can refuse any bid for any reason.

Also the last one that was worded like the OP was a high value item I think maybe a 5 btc cas or those sussie AG

Bad example as it is not even close to the same thing.  I cannot think of a single reputable seller that does what you are describing.  I would not bid on an auction with the rule as written.

Found a few more.

1125  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE-ORDER] The 2019 Bitcoin Penny™ GOLD on: December 17, 2018, 02:43:52 AM
UPDATE on the GOLD (pt.2)

The custom dies should be ready next week. The minting process will start soon after. We're still on schedule for an early January release date. Grin

Also, we will have five (5) coins available for purchase. The sale price will be based on the current BTC value at the time of purchase.

Thank you all for your strong and generous support of bitcoin and The Bitcoin Penny Company!

Regards,
Chris

We slash prices on almost all our products when BTC spikes For example, in 2017 when BTC started spiking through the roof, we slashed all our prices by a whopping 75%! (See the post HERE.)

I hear what you're saying, and I understand your grief about it. I often feel the same way. Many sellers are happy to keep the same BTC price even while BTC is sky-rocketing. That's not me, and that's not how our company does business.

FWIW, we honored the .1 BTC price on all our gold pre-orders, even for those customers (more than 50% of our total customers) who waited until BTC lost 1/3 of its value before paying. We lost thousands of dollars worth of pre-order funds due to many customers waiting 2+ weeks to pay. We cannot continue doing that in the future. I'm sure you are aware that ALL BTC prices are based on USD, no matter the product or company. Mints do not accept BTC as payment, so our company must calculate the cost of minting each coin, then convert that into BTC. That's why all collectibles on BitcoinTalk are based on USD. That have to be. And when BTC crashes, we have two choices — take a loss or raise the BTC price to compensate. And when BTC spikes, we have two similar choices — keep the BTC price (which feels a little greedy to me) or lower the BTC price to compensate and help the customer (which is what we do.

I'm with you on the idea that it would be great if all bitcoin collectibles were 100% based on BTC. Unfortunately, mints (and most other production houses, such as manhole cover foundries, for example) only accept USD. Until that changes, we will never have a true BTC collectibles market.

I hope that answered your questions.

Thanks, KY.

Regards,
Chris

Quote from bitcoin penny that is too good not to share. I believe it's reasons like those that they are the number 1 crypto collectable that isn't loadable in 99% of the time.

Or someone who has the bankroll does the trade.

Op sends btc to say CITM
CiTM buys Google's and gets them shipped to OP

IF CITM feels like buying 12k of BTC at the time..

I don't want the trade, I was just stating a hypothetical of what it takes to make the deal happen and the risk involved since he thinks he is going to "save some money".

What you said was an example of someone who doesn't have the bankroll to do the trade
1129  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Night Vision Goggles -buy for me- on: December 12, 2018, 04:52:43 AM
I am in the U.S and am not asking anyone to break the law. I'm just trying to see what prices people would offer to buy at so I can save some money.

If anything we are going to charge you for our service provided.

For instance, I would provide this service for you for +10% ..

First you send me the BTC @ 150% expected.
Then I sell the BTC on coinbase.
Then I order your goggles after the fiat hits my bank and have them shipped to you.
Then I would refund you any overages (minus the +10%) in BTC after I put it back into BTC.
If I get fucked in any step of this process then you wait and eat the cost.

Sound reasonable?

My rate is 0.015 btc per week and I will put anything in my signature and avatar space that doesn't break any rules.

I will post at least 40 posts per week that are at least 4 complete setences.
