1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it worth trying COBINHOOD? on: March 20, 2018, 11:47:44 PM
They have high withdrawal commission;
Quote
0.001 for BTC, 0.007 for ETH, 20 USD for USDT, the equivalent amount of 8.4 USD for ERC-20 tokens and the equivalent amount of 3 USD for QRC-20.
They claim all these fees goto tx but recommended transaction fee for bitcoin or ETH is way lower than this one right now.

But paying higher fees on withdrawal might not affect you as you can save lot on trading fee. I have also heard about this exchange but haven't tried them till now.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges to avoid on: March 20, 2018, 11:14:04 PM
Both IDEX and Etherdelta are decentralized trading platform so they are comparatively secure and resistant to hacks.
Bittrex and binance are my choice right now.
Poloniex is now under new management (circle) so it might regain its charm back.

I will avoid using bitfinex because they have been hacked before and known for shady financial transactions along with their Tether token.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins with PASSIVE INCOME? on: March 20, 2018, 09:59:46 PM
I'm curious if there are more altcoins like COSS with a chance to grant some passive income in the future?
Actually COSS price is also volatile so total value of your coss holding might deplete more than what weekly profit you have got from them in total. There are different exchange tokens which can be used for discount in trading and also can get profit shared by the exchange. For excample Binance coin (BNB) and Kucoin Shares.

I don't think we can consider them as passive income opportunities, but they are good to get discount in daily trading.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Finally spring bull run is coming? on: March 20, 2018, 09:37:52 PM
Before another bull run starts, we might have few more pull backs to $7k and $8 level where whale will make entry and they will pump price up. Newbie will start to buy again above $10k when FOMO kicks in and we don't have to forget that those who sold their coins at as low as $6k during last dump will be the one  who will be buying above $10k, difference between this price is profit for whales  Grin
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1500 to spend - what would people recommend? on: March 20, 2018, 09:16:29 PM
Don't know about mobius but you can buy both bitcoin and ethereum as current discounted price. Bitcoin and ethereum both can pump hard in future, specially with ETH you might get more ROI.

You can also buy some LTC and NEO, both of them will be one of the first to pump on bull run.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which App Do You Use For Crypto? on: March 20, 2018, 08:58:41 PM
I am still using blockfolio as my first choice despite the fact that they are known for some visual bugs and also sometime their data api lags to give real time price.

But as they are free and don't contain lots of ads I prefer blockfolio, alternatively I am also using cryptoport.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are crypto currencies' are far better alternative to banks? on: March 20, 2018, 08:31:54 PM
- There will always be a bank supported by government because with crypto government can't impose tax and control money laundering.
- In future banks might also issues blockchain based tokens but centralized one.
- Bitcoin will remain as first choice as crypto for citizens to have financial freedom.
- Many countries might keep their ban on crypto trading because they want to promote their own tokens issued by banks.
- Cryptocurrencies are better than banks but I don't think it will replace bank at any point because governments will always stand against that.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Bitcoin post no risk to the world's Financial instability" on: March 19, 2018, 11:56:15 PM
Quote
Nevertheless, he believes that the technology underlying crypto currencies could be potentially applied for enhancing the efficiency and inclusiveness of the financial system and the economy in general.

They only want blockchain tech behind the bitcoin and actually hate bitcoin that's why they may impose strict regulation or global ban in future if total marketcap of crypto will grow to over 1% or like 5% of world GDP.

Quote
crypto market continues to develop, and the FSB may change its initial point of view if it is needed
They will change this view if market will grow and we all know market will grow in future. So this is not their final view towards crypto, they are trying to gain global effort to ban bitcoin/crypto.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: When? on: March 19, 2018, 11:42:36 PM
I think many bitcoin user choose to hold their bitcoin instead of use it to their personal needs so bitcoin price is decreasing.
This doesn't make any sense, price will not decrease if you won't use bitcoin to buy something. Most of the merchants who accept bitcoin as payment method will just sell whatever bitcoin they will receive instantly to not get affected by price volatility.

If everybody will hold their coins tightly than it will limit circulating supply of coin which will pump the price. Currently many people are selling their coins out of panic when they will start to buy again than price will surge.

Nobody can give you exact date at which price will start to increase...
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO VS TRADING on: March 19, 2018, 11:36:58 PM
- First learn what is ICO and how to find best ICO, this might take very long time for any newbie and if you will just invest in every ICO you will loss as there are lots of SCAM ICO out there.
- Trading is also not an easy task, you have to spend lots of time on it and you should only start with really small amount.
- Don't just invest in coins which are being advertised all over social media or recommended to you by your friend.
- Don't invest in coins that call themselves as cloud mining token or MLM based tokens where you will be paid commission on your referral purchases.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Unconfirmed Transactions where does The Money Go on: March 19, 2018, 11:27:51 PM
Where you lost 80$ ? Have you used bitcoin to pay somewhere through bitpay like thirdparty or used it to top up other payment processors account (like neteller or skrill)?

If you have used these third party than you can contact them and they will refund your bitcoin if your transactions stay unconfirmed for long time and get confirmed only after few days.

If you have just sent it to another bitcoin address and it is still unconfirmed, it will automatically drop from mempool after few days and should be added to your balance. Don't use coinbase, xapo like wallets they are not true bitcoin wallet. Use electrum where you have full control over your coins and transactions.

No miners will not take your unconfirmed bitcoin...
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what advice? on: March 19, 2018, 11:19:11 PM
- Search for few basic guides on crypto trading before you start and also learn about margin trading and how stop-limit works.
- There are different threads here in forum with same question like yours, go through them.
- Never panic and always sell for profit not for loss.
- Don't be emotional with any coin, sell when it pumps.
- Invest in multiple coins to diversify your risk.

Good luck...
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: DO NOT invest credit money on: March 19, 2018, 11:08:22 PM
Many people have already lost their homes and cars while trying to ride the bitcoin wave investing money they have taken as loan from banks or from friends. This is the reason why many banks don't allow their users to buy bitcoin with their credit card, only debit card is allowed. Also they suggest their clients to not invest their money from loan in bitcoin or other crypto whose price is highly volatile.

14  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What do you use Bitcoin for ? on: March 19, 2018, 11:00:27 PM
Hey guys ... do any of y'all use Bitcoin for real life purchases?

If so what and through which sources ?
And how do you calculate the crazy volatileness of the market ?
- Yes I am able to use my bitcoin for real life purchases these days as I am now in a country where we can pay any bills with bitcoin (using 3rd party)
- I store my bitcoin in safe offline wallet while keep profits I make with daily trading in USDT which later on I use to buy bitcoin and use it for purchases.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you support to open bitcoin or crypto in college level? on: March 19, 2018, 10:54:37 PM
Would you support to open bitcoin or crypto in college level,so people can go to learn exactly what they need to learn about bitcoin.
Don't tell us that you are going to open bitcoin or crypto related course through an ICO  Grin
I will be interested to run one of such class as volunteer if someone gives me an opportunity but most of the knowledge needed to understand bitcoin in both basic to advance level is available online which can be accessed for free. So people might not be interested in sitting in few hours long session to understand about bitcoin.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ad bans to affect prices long term? on: March 19, 2018, 10:40:20 PM
Actually ban on crypto related ad open up an space for crypto based adnetwork to flourish and offer higher rate to publishers, adsense have dominated whole advertisement market for decades now its turn for crypto adnetwork to take over.

This is another attempt to limit crypto adoption...
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if trading in Bitcoin was your source of income? on: March 18, 2018, 11:41:09 PM
What are the effects of these days dips for you as a trader?
Dips are always good for day traders because they can quickly make some bucks whenever there is small green stick between those red one. Also dips means price will swing between different support points, which is more profitable for day traders than a huge everyday price surge.

If you are long term holder/trader than just keep your coin with you and don't sell being panic at dips.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing on: March 18, 2018, 11:15:34 PM
We have even seen dump upto $6k few months ago so obviously this is not a end as price is still over $8k. Price is swinging because newbie investors are afraid of investing in btc again because of different fuds circulating that is causing panic on market.

When fuds will be over, we might get into next big surge like last year.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Price of bitcoin on: March 18, 2018, 10:20:21 PM
Fixed price?
There is nothing like fix price for bitcoin and it will keep swinging in future too.

If you are talking about price at which I would sell, I am trading bitcoin in short time that's why I keep buying and selling bitcoin for profit regardless of its price.

$100k per bitcoin is possible when fud will be over..
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODLERS are preventing prices going down further on: March 13, 2018, 11:28:40 PM
it seems that these are the level where prices are not going to dump further downwards.... thanks to hodlers...
Yes there is enough buy support at these levels which can absorb some level of dump but if there will be another big sell off than those buy orders might get eaten and we might go even further down.

However chance of surge is quite high right now.
