1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do people really make millions of $ transactions? on: October 19, 2016, 02:41:29 PM
Yes actually this million $ worth of bitcoin in transaction is normal and i think it may be even more than that if block size is not limited to 1mb only by now. Because there are lots of exchanger and whales who have to move several thousands of bitcoin from one account to another account daily whether to process trader's withdraws or traders depositing bitcoin to exchange. It is hard to know for what purpose bitcoin are being transferred but this is true that we may even see more bitcoin being transferred per block in future.
1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be blocked too by the government or isp ?? on: October 19, 2016, 12:45:30 PM
Recently many file sharing sites and torrents had been banned in my country to stop piracy.
They stopped file sharing and torrent sites due to piracy and bitcoin is open source and can be used by anyone.

Is there a way that the government or the isp may block the connection to bitcoin network by its users ??
No bitcoin is decentralized which mean bitcoin have thousands of nodes so you can connect with any of them and can broadcast your bitcoin transactions or even you can make your own ip as one of the nodes. So basically if government even tries to ban all known bitcoin nodes ip and web wallets domains they can't stop bitcoin transactions. That's why all trust bitcoin and it is quite sure that bitcoin network will never go down.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a revolutionary currency but a fairly inefficient payment network on: October 19, 2016, 12:41:01 PM
The problem related to price volatility will be solved as soon as bitcoin marketcap will be around 50% of total online payment processor so i think bitcoin can be efficient payment network in future. However even price volatility doesn't matter if you are merchant and have fear regarding getting less than expected as there are services like bitpay which directly converts your bitcoin to fiat if you like to receive payment in fiat.

Gold price would also be so volatile if it doesn't had this high marketcap, and bitcoin is also GOLD of new era which need few more years to get more investors and holders and we may see quite stable price.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin arbitrage on: October 19, 2016, 12:35:53 PM
the only problem that maybe we have face it about time transferred from one wallet into another wallet in each market exchange because sometime one transaction can do fast complete confirming but the other time, the transaction getting slow and we can not do anything except waiting the complete confirm of the transaction.
Actually the one who do arbitrage trading have to store both fiats and bitcoins in each of the trading platform they use to trade in so that there will be no delay between deposit and withdraw however i find arbitrage trading less effective due to different fee structures each exchangers have.

The increase in the use of virtual money might lead to a decrease in the use of “real” money, thereby also reducing the cash needed to conduct the transactions generated by nominal income.
Who need cash and who in the current world want to hold cash and go for shopping. Grin

Whatever they say, at end they will realize that they can only tighten the law/regulation regarding bitcoin and couldn't stop bitcoin transactions. So over time that rule/regulation against bitcoin will be not functional and not practical for sure.

Better you lock this thread and only unlock after you make your site fully functional and live. And also with complete ANN post , the bitpay sign at the footer area is making confusions.
1067  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What kind of service/business would you create if you had funding and.... on: October 18, 2016, 05:11:54 PM
I think there is still lots of room for altcoin trading site as well as blockchain based gambling sites so i may start one of this if i can have some funding. However running these platforms with investors funding will be quite riskier as we need to provide greater protection of bankroll while processing all withdraws/payments instantly.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happen with bitcoin after not mineable? on: October 18, 2016, 05:01:20 PM
Many small miners may left mining and only few big giant miner remain in business as they have very low cost of operation as well as lots of resources to remain profitable even just with transaction fee associated with transactions.
1069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: October 18, 2016, 04:59:42 PM
not all country will ban bitcoin. many developed country had already accepted bitcoin and many nation had banned but i am damn sure that bitcoin will not be banned by all countries. those country who will not ban bitcoin will enjoy it and citizens of banned nation will look at the developed countries.
No actually no any country can ban bitcoin as bitcoin run on decentralize environment so nobody can ban people from accessing or transffering their bitcoin actually they may restrict local bitcoin exchanger which can be passed with p2p trading system and face to face deals.
1070  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 18, 2016, 04:53:25 PM
- coinbase, xapo like wallets are just like bitcoin banks (centralized one) having all acccess to your bitcoins.

- paper wallets, electrum , hardware wallets can still be considered as real bitcoin wallet.

So we already have existing bitcoin banks and also lots of cases of account getting locked, frozen by them just like in other banks and who like to get this situation while using bitcoin, so no we don't need any bitcoin banks.
1071  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price will be fail to bottom line ? on: October 18, 2016, 04:48:54 PM
Do you really think that the bitcoin is  going to fall that low i dontt think that would happen becuas elots of peopel are not ok with it and that means taht the bitcoin will die
when he hits the bottom.
Price actually doesn't matter, its security of bitcoin network that will decide the lifetime of bitcoin. And talking about security bitcoin have been already tested several times by different attacks and it came as stronger to all of them. No matter how much price per bitcoin have, bitcoin may remain functional for a lot more time.

But price going to deep buttom seem impossible.
1072  Economy / Speculation / Re: $BTC Market Was Simply Too Bullish... on: October 18, 2016, 04:44:44 PM
I really hope that the price will still go down. Because for me I still want to invest in bitcoin. I'm planning for a long term investment thats why I want the bitcoin to go down.
I think you better keep buying at the current price also because it looks like next big pump is coming soon to drive price over $700 within this month. It will never be late to invest in bitcoin as price have lot of space to grow in future.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: October 18, 2016, 04:42:34 PM
I choose bitcoin this is what i can afford, i do not have more money to invest in gold, and also i love to invest in bitcoin because i got entertain during i do some method of earnings in bitcoin.
Actually price of 1 bitcoin is higher than 1 gram of gold so still gold may come cheaper but talking about the potential price pump, bitcoin will always win this bet against gold/silver or other assets. And also it is easy to own smallest amount of bitcoin while owning/buying small amount of gold less than 10 gm is quite hard.
1074  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Web wallets with no transaction fees charged, for how long? on: October 18, 2016, 04:37:34 PM
For transafering small amount to external address they still charge fees and the size they think are small enough and users has to pay fee can be easily modified by them in future if price of bitcoin rises so high. As well as they may charge fees for all withdraw to external address trasnactions, i don't see any benefits to them with paying transaction fees by themselves for users.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why it was completely irresponsible not to increase block size limit on: October 18, 2016, 11:10:59 AM
No matter whatever version we have with higher block size limit people will always try to remain with core and this blocksize debate may not get solved untill actual increase in block size is required. Almost all of the blocks are getting fulled these days which in some respect increasing the fees per byte.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Argument for Bitcoin as Private Property on: October 18, 2016, 10:20:29 AM
Bitcoin network or bitcoin blockchain can't be considered private as it is not control by any central body. However bitcoin can be said private as bitcoin can be owned by any private company, any person, any institution or even government and in case like when the owner of bitcoin get demised those bitcoin can't be used without private key and if owner have given access to their private key to other people they can easily use it own it just like in banks you can put your parents/relatives name and give them access if you don't remain in this world.
1077  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: October 18, 2016, 09:32:48 AM
Margin lending is one of the safest ways, several websites do that, including Poloniex. The only real risk is the fact the website might go offline at some point. So I strongly suggest differentiation.
Yes i also find this as safest way to grow bitcoin but it is quite slow process and many may not find this easy way to double their bitcoin but slow and steady always wins the race. Margin lending in different exchange platform to minimize the loss in situation like recent bitfinex hack will be good way to grow bitcoin in passive way.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why dump traditional payment options for Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 06:51:29 PM
I think few more can be added in the above list of benifit...

~ it is more secure than traditional centralized payment processor or internet banking
~ Bitcoin network can't go down like other payment processor or nobody can take down bitcoin completely offline so we always have access to our money/bitcoin.
1079  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: List of emails of Xapo bots to ban on: October 17, 2016, 06:22:39 PM
Actually I use an e-mail with a dot... And well, if you ban dots, they will come with underlines or numbers like asdf1@, asd1f, as1df, a1sdf, 1asdf... It's a both side evolution, it's hard to prevent bots...
I didn't say ban dots, I said remove the dot. So My.Name@gmail becomes the same in the database as MyName@gmail, and if MyNa.me@gmail registers, you'll know it exists already.
asdf1@gmail etc. is possible indeed, but a lot more work for the farmer, en Gmail itself has spam-protection for it. After a few accounts it will start asking for phone verification, slowing the farmer down further.
yes actually email farmers may not get hundreds of accounts as google ask for verification, better to use %LIKE% to search for similar letters in database query to check emails with almost same name with just some symbol difference. And banning whole known temporary email service provider can be good option for protection against xapo bot emails.
1080  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What do you look for in a faucet? on: October 17, 2016, 06:17:01 PM
As all like
- high payout per hour
- high ref commision
- no pop up ads or other short link traps
- instant payout
- good design and less ads

However you also better calculate what you can pay from what you can earn through visitors, its better you have one ad from one adnetwork rather than trying to use same banner ad in different places or site.
