Pools been working fine for me for the last few days I should add, thanks a bunch, best pool out there as far as i'm concerned. And I've tried a fair few. Cryptsy and multipool goes hand in hand for me profit wise at the moment.

Oh I'm not complaining - I like Multipool, it seems to be one of the best, if not *the* best pool right now. I just hope that stale block rate can be sorted out as Flound suggested so the stats get back to normal.

I also hope the DOGE/LTC rate can get back towards 0.00009 soon so I can cash out a few coins!!

Increasing the minimum DOGE withdrawal tenfold is kind of harsh...

Geez the DOGE minimum withdraw up-age seems kind of unfortunate for us small time miners, that'll take a few days to generate 10k DOGE with 1MH/s.

Also, flound have you thought about adding captcha to the login screen? I feel it would prevent a ton of these brute force attacks.

I'm assuming that most of the larger pools are probably having this same issue.  If the larger DOGE pools all connected directly to each other we could probably bring the stales down quite a bit.

I'm on a DOGE only pool with more hashpower than multipool.  In the last 24 hours, it's found 365 blocks, of which 5 were orphaned.  That's 1.37%.

M

I mine at Kano's Pool because it pays the best and is completely transparent!  Come join me!

I trust coinchoose's profitability rating more than coinwarz since you can sort by profitability accounting for stales. It doesn't have the calculator, but if you can do math you can do it yourself. According to coinchoose, about 8% of doge blocks will be orphaned or stale. Keep those numbers in mind

With 1Mh/s, you should be getting approximately ~9500 DOGE a day at current difficulty.  I know this because that's the hashrate I have and I'm getting 10k DOGE in roughly 25 hours when I'm mining it directly on Multipool.  If I'm using the switching port, it takes about 3 days (due to switching).

Don't add that captcha shit, its nothing but worthless and is pointless. If you want to slow down bruit force attacks add a delay say 1 sec for each time you fail entering password and have it accumulate the more times you fail at logging in.

Crytpsy tried and failed at adding captcha to their 5 min  relogging in, man that was annoying...

Also flound said on irc the reason for the increase was due to all the xsfers logging in the wallet.dat file think is over 20 gb now, on the plus side the fee was reduced from 25 to 1 doge. So just manually withdraw when you want to.

I noticed the multiport mining Earthcoin a moment ago, and it shows an exchange rate of 0.00000177
I'm puzzled where this came from, as it's only 0.00000144 on Cryptsy and 0.00000142 on coinex

Also... the coin doesn't appear to have much if any trade volume, even just a couple bitcoin worth of sales will cause it to plummet.
May not be a good idea for the multiport at the moment

I was talking more about stales than orphans.  You can't really see those stats.

Yes but now on-demand withdrawals are practically free.

The people with low hashrates aren't the problem, the people with high hashrates that still use tiny auto thresholds are.

I'll be implementing 24 hour payouts soon, which will pay fee-free every 24 hours regardless of your balance.

Just wan tto check with those mining LTC on multipool.
I have been mining at around 1.6 Mhz for past 5 days at still not received any payout.
Floud did explain that this is a long block hence the delay.
Is anybody else mining LTC experiencing the same?

What do you consider a high hash rate? Have you considered limiting withdrawals to one per N hours?

I thinks it's because Earthcoin disappeared off Coinchoose, and now its stuck at the last known exchange rate.

PLEASE DISABLE EARTHCOIN FROM THE MULTIPORT (at least temporarily)

If you are on the LTC port, you are essentially solo mining.  This is not a LTC pool.  If you want LTC, I suggest mining at a dedicated LTC pool.

I understand but I was mining before on multipool and getting 1 LTC payout at least every 2 days.
I know the pool hashrate has dropped as well as the network hash, but I didn't know it would slow this much.
I joined multipool, because the last 2 LTC mining pools I joined both went bust, or were hacked.
