I've already pmed burnside when I placed my offer, hope he answers soon.

btw: carnitastaco also wanted to transfer the shares with burnside.

thanks for looking out birdy Smiley

as i understand it, all the btct shares will be transferred to the same address, then burnside has to send the individual pt shares to our accounts on btct

450 HS Union, Springfield Missouri is currently in use by the Springfield Fight Club?

http://springfieldfightclub.com/contact.php

Maybe someone could give them a call - it might save a long drive for someone? I would hate for some board member to barge into this place demanding to see Ken and the machines - it might get a bit...dramatic.

btw, dont remember anyone posting about this- on axs.net, there is a link at the bottom that says: "powered by million dollar web hosting" the link to milliondollarwebhosting.com is dead.

There's a separate entity, milliondollarhosting.net, that doesn't seem to have anything to do with him.

umm, no.  reading comprehension man.  Kslaughter is claiming to be 450 S union, unit H.  Fight club is 450 S union, Unit L.

that address was all over the whois info for Kslaughters various business websites, I found it in multiple places in May when I was researching, its definitely not new.

OK that's fair enough I've not seen it on this thread before and no one commented on it yesterday. I don't think Ken has revealed this address on here till today was my point and as I said it proves not much atall except he's been using it for a few years. That would suggest he does have access to the mail at the address but not conclusively.

yeah to be fair, the research I was doing was in regard to my belief that Kenneth E Slaughter was a made up individual.  I'm not really 100% convinced that he isn't, and if I'd actually been interested in investing in AMC I would have hired someone to go knock on the door of that house and see who answered.

This is the satellite image of the address that Ken used for VMC's "Principal place of business" as stated in the NDA picture he posted today:

Indeed that is the address I posted yesterday after finding it buried in the terms and conditions of Kens old web hosting site (circa 2011) axs.net. The first time he revealed it here (in the pdfs today) was after I posted it last night.

It is either his home address, or perhaps a friends or a complete strangers address ie someone he doesn't know.

When you don't need mail to come through to you (or use a mail box for business mail) then you can pretty much pretend you live anywhere. When you post an alleged address on a website or quote it when you meet another businessman to sign a contract who is going to check it's your real address? That's one reason why dodgy business companies use mail boxes. Ken may have never been to this house so him saying it's his home address ads no aspect of trust or security.

Posted on the 10th June 2013:
Sure, I would be happy to meet with you at our NEW manufacturing site, which is 450 H S Union, Springfield Missouri, 65802.  Just let me know when you are going to be here.  Thanks for pointing out the typo on our site, I will get that fixed.  However, you get a trademark by using it.  It only needs to be registered if you are going to sue someone.  I see you did not mention axs.net which I own and has been registered since 1997 along with name-servers.net.  Our prototype boards are being spun up as we speak, should be here within a week, Avalon sample chips have been shipped to us for these boards.  Anything else?

686  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER fixed price auction 4.5BTC/share, 1000 shares on: July 01, 2013, 08:35:56 PM
over 1/3 shares, 342 gone in less than 30 minutes. I would have thought that wall would have held a little longer.

yeah seriously, guess no repeat of the 2.5 wall that held for, what, weeks?

1 @ 4.4, also to burnside (if its not too much hassle to just get one).  Would love to get more but I'm way too illiquid right now.

Let's try to keep things constructive and informative here.

The idea is to help people avoid losing their shirt to a fast talking huckster by providing facts.  And to provide constructive input on how to avoid this kind of situation in the future.

Baiting folks that view the investment in a different light isn't helpful.  Ultimately a lot of people are going to lose money in this situation.  Some of the pro AMC folks might even have perspectives that we can learn from.

And the ignore button helps me with those that don't contribute in a constructive way on both sides.

yes, and at some point, after all those facts have been provided ad infinitum and the asset issuer has proved over and over and over again that there's no reason to trust him, and the contract was horribly written and terrible for investors from the very beginning, and it's all explained in simple words and the math has been shown very clearly all you can do is laugh at defenses of the scam that ignore all the analysis and numbers.

I was very very surprised that this asset made it to BTCTCO, but in any securities market there's always going to be some amount of survival of the fittest going on, and I'm not sure how you stop someone determined to throw away their money from throwing away their money.

2010 is an impressively early signup date.  Good to know Ken is a very early adapter, way ahead of the curve kind of guy.  He may have paid for our Avalons with his cheap old coins.

In contrast, btc megamouth has been here all of 4 months.   Roll Eyes

Ken has contributed to the community by giving AM some badly needed competition, while providing us Joe Sixcoin types with an excellent investment opportunity.  I've already doubled my money a couple of times and am now playing entirely with the money given to me by scared little speculators waving their weak hands around.

In contrast, btc megamouth's main contribution is to ride our coattails with yet another crummy cafepress t-shirt.

I support family businesses.  The proprietors have extra incentives to succeed and benefit from dealing with less HR issues.

6 Avalons, 20k chips, and a lot of capital represent a substantial amount of "substance."  Certainly more than AM began with and more than btc megamouth's t-shirts will ever amount to.

No risk, no reward; if you can't take the heat GTFO the kitchen.   Cool

Its actually a lot worse because kslaughter cuts himself in on the dividends as well.  The whole thing has been amazing to watch.
691  Economy / Securities / Re: [AMC]-The Official Active Mining Cooperative Discussion on: June 27, 2013, 10:34:31 PM
Do I understand it correctly that:

1) for 0.0025 I can buy share that represents 1/100,000,000th of profits of AMC mining

2) from now to next year's april I will get 1/40,000,000 of AMC's profits (unfortunately the ASICs are scheduled for Q4 2013 - Q1 2014)

3) the AMC's hardware is preordered from this other company VMC

4) the VMC's hardware development is supposedly funded by kslaughter (stated previously in this thread), but in the Marketing Strategy part of the contract at btct.co it's written "AMC is developing an ASIC chip which will be marketed through VMC." From the new anouncement: "VMC is also announcing today that 100% of the profits from bulk sales of the
Fast-Hash-ONE chips will be reimbursed to AMC until the total amount that AMC has paid to VMC for the NRE to create this chip is totally reimbursed to AMC."

5) if VMC start selling their chips to public, the AMC will get 10% of their profit

6) kslaughter has put his hard work and 6 Avalons in the company, now values his share in AMC for $15,000,000. Also he takes 90% of profit from the hardware sales

7) kslaughter is now selling the shares for 0.0025, but can later sell more for 0.0005 as stated in the summary at bifunder (also that has happened before).

8 ) the profit calculation in contract is based on assumption that the difficulty will rise only by 6.5% on average for next 24 months

9) shares have no voting rights - does it mean that contract can be changed? Or that shares can be diluted (more than 100,000,000 issued)?

I've probably misunderstood something, if that is the case, please correct me.

I would very much like to see someone refute most of these points

There are so many insecurities, man-sized holes, and pure 'makes no sense' holes in the entire 'business' and it's relationships with other companies I don't even know where to start. I am 100% totally jealous of the company owners that have managed to secure their retirement in a few weeks. Buying shares @ current value? HELL NO!

pretty sure youve got it all right, except that initial investors paid for the 6 avalons, not kslaughter...correct me if im wrong.

Hello burnside,
can I ask how is the value of transfered shares in "My Value Analysis" calculated?
I have some DMS shares transfered from Deprived and most of them shows some value (but I'm not sure how it is calculated), but one transfer is valued at BTC0.

market price at time of transfer

The chip is expected in limited quantities in Q4 2013 and fully available in Q1 2014

Umm, this is bigger news than I expected. Well done, Ken. Well done.

yeah this has gotten pretty interesting

level of demand @ $400 does not equal level of demand @ 2 BTC, just like level of demand @ 2 BTC does not equal level of demand @ 1 BTC.  This is standard Econ 1 stuff.

what?

if these were priced at .50 btc i would buy 10 right now, the level of demand would increase and he would sell more of them to more people, thus increasing his profitibility long term. as they are/were priced i have not bought any.

yeah thats exactly what I'm saying, except in response to the person saying FC could price them HIGHER because people on ebay were overpaying.  More people will buy at 2 btc than $400, more people will buy at 1 btc, than 2 btc.  The ultimate profit maximizing sale price is not the highest price a few people are willing to pay.
696  Other / Archival / Re: btt on: June 25, 2013, 07:43:44 PM
hey creative, apologies if I missed it earlier, but how much did you pay for the new avalon?

Hey carnitastaco. You didn't miss it, I have many updates to make to the spreadsheet, just need to get it done. The Avalon was being priced in USDs(20k). The BTC equivalent at the time was 195.79050416. Paying so much is a risk if difficulty remains on the same trajectory it has been on, but it's about the best we could hope for IMO. I've just begun studying overclocking results(beyond 300) with Avalons so I'm hoping to squeeze more out of them when I have time to babysit them. Thus far they seem 100% stable at their extreme setting with only one hiccup over the weekend...which appeared to have been a loss of wifi connection.

thanks for the quick answer

3) Which do you prefer:
3a) ASICMiner sells USB miner for 0.5 BTC.  Customer sells it on ebay for $400.
3b) ASICMiner sells USB miner for 1.99 BTC.  Customer sells it on ebay for $400.

Ebay prices have dropped quickly after the price cut. Remember not everyone who is ready and willing to buy USB miners has the BTC to do so. Ebay makes an easy way to purchase them with fiat, albeit with a markup.
That's not my point.

All I'm saying is that ASICMiner should sell at the market price so they reap the profit and not resellers.

level of demand @ $400 does not equal level of demand @ 2 BTC, just like level of demand @ 2 BTC does not equal level of demand @ 1 BTC.  This is standard Econ 1 stuff.
