Indeed, same situation here. I casted the vote for the third year in a row for City to lift the trophy and I believe they can do it. I cast the vote at the beginning of the season and I don't count to change my opinion too.
City will play vs Arsenal and they have to collect all points there. Arsenal will lose additional game or two at any time so Guardiola has seriously to find a way to keep winning as much as possible..losing points randomly isn't acceptable anymore!

Even though Manchester City is currently in second place under Arsenal, there is still the potential to get first place again. They have strength that only relies on Erling Haaland and many teams already know his strategy. At least Manchester City has a new striker with the same skills as Erling Haaland. and can work well together so that when the opponent is focused on Erling Haaland there are still other attackers who are ready to make the opposing team lose.

17.2% have bet on Arsenal and 44.3% on Manchester City. Liverpool also have 17.2% with a total of 122 votes. So now it looks different from the predictions. And it's exciting because many see City as the champions. In the last 5 years they have won 4x and 1x Liverpool 2020. Arsenal the last time in 2004.

people looked at City as the best candidate to be champions due to the fact that City have good players and have a good coach, but in the premier league even if a team has those two things it can still lose points against a team that doesn't have very good players famous and nobody (because I doubt that anyone really had any hope of seeing arsenal at the top before the premier league started) would think of arsenal as a strong candidate to win the premier league, today as there are already many games played by all teams, it's already a little less difficult to see who can be champion. Arsenal just needs to stay consistent and let opponents make mistakes that cause them to lose points.

A difference of 5 points is still not a big deal, but in the premier league it can mean a lot when it comes to a good team at the top, if City lose points in 2 more games and Arsenal don't lose points in two games , so City will simply be saying goodbye to the title, that's the problem, when a team has that 5 points difference in relation to the first place then the team that is in second place starts to play with pressure because they know that losing points only will be further behind, while Arsenal can even play less pressured, you just need to keep playing as usual




it's unbelievable comes newcastle, from what you can see money makes a strong team, I commented last season that newcastle could even start competing to be champions and constantly be in the 4 places and go in the champions league and we are seeing that , they are a much better team than manchester united that has money but they are a strange team that cannot manage well and bring good results, tottenham should also learn from newcastle. congrats to newcastle and hope they finish in a good position

It's time for the next boss to take time an map out the necessary problem of his team, the reason behind their sudden defeats and humiliation in the premier league, and the possible solution to it. But most players are injured while some are excited and will play to their best capacity in the world cup.

I hope Arsenal can be consistent until the end of this season ends and finish as top of the standings and win the league. however, it looks like it won't be easy. the reason is, Arsenal often slip in the middle of the journey. plus, the Arsenal versus Manchester match has not yet been held. The problem isn't from the manager, but the players. Chelsea doesn't have many good players, only few of them are good, but the rest should be replaced especially the center forward e.g. Aubameyang, he can't carry his club.

The five-point gap is not a safe difference, because after all Manchester City has the ability to rise quickly. Also, let's not forget Newcastle and I'm pretty sure, that Newcastle will make a bigger surprise from their rapid rise this season.
So, basically Arsenal are still not completely secure at the top of the standings but yes, I also admit that their chances of winning the title this season are still there but the competition after the break will certainly be even more difficult.

Therefore, for now I personally still can't be sure for Arsenal, whether it will succeed in winning the title this season or not.
Because with the opening of the transfer window later in January, of course, competing teams may also improve their good performance again, perhaps exceeding Arsenal.

Liverpool has some few players representing the FIFA World Cup it'll be a good time for Jurgen Klopp to get new set of players in the next half of the season. It's Good Thiago Alcantara wasn't called up he's been a very important player used to inject the plans and tactics of Klopp.

The World Cup break will certainly be used by all teams. Specifically for Liverpool, Klopp will continue to hold training during his holidays to maintain the fitness of players who are not involved in the World Cup. Even according to the news they will schedule trials with several other teams in Europe.

The tight competition schedule in England certainly makes many teams confused. Kloop will certainly develop a mature strategy to face the continuation of the competition. Both Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have many players are reserved to play in World Cup. Amongst them, I only think Liverpool and Chelsea especially Chelsea will likely have new players in January transfer. Tottenham will accept players they have but their squad is good enough already.

Liverpool have many injured players and if they come back, Liverpool don't actually need to buy new players in January. Of course World Cup will bring a lot of issues to Liverpool and Klopp does not like this tournament.

It's a good news for Klopp and Liverpool because Thiago is very important for their midfield especially ball possession ability. Thiago did not have important role in Euro 2020 and he was not chosen for World Cup not only because of his injury and limited appearance in this season.

Infact any player that did not go to World Cup risks the possibility of not being match fit, that is a very fearful thing to think about Halaand. I have seen one local club called Ashton that jokingly offering to loan Haaland for 28 days in order to keep him fit before season restarts. I think Manchester City win not give a listening ear to the proposal because it could lead to unnecessary injuries

There are no guarantees, but the chances that the break will be more beneficial for the players than the intense World Cup games are much higher. It is undeniable that one of the problems that has caused the Chelsea team's performance to decline this season is rooted in the recent transfer market, Chelsea did not get many of the players it needed. And the reason Chelsea didn't get good players was because in the player transfer market yesterday Chelsea always didn't dare to raise the bid price. even though Chelsea at that time was still very good financially. until finally the players targeted by Chelsea, were successfully obtained by other teams who were more daring to offer higher bids such as Barcelona. Even though at that time Barcelona was in the midst of a financial crisis.

and I hope that in the next transfer market, Chelsea can offer more high offers to the players that are needed by Chelsea. because it is true that Chelsea's current condition really needs additional, better players.

Aside from the World Cup break, perhaps the downside is that if players don't hone their skills during that time and just sit idly by, it's much more harmful to their performance. Moreover, the World Cup break must be used to consistently develop skills on the field. For example, Haaland did not participate in the World Cup because his country failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup finals, in Qatar. This means that to maintain their fitness balance, they must still have a solid workout. Then Crystal Palace winger Zaha, Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Zlatan Ibrahimovich (Sweden), Aubameyang (Gabon), Luis Diaz (Colombia), Odegaard (Norway), and many more.

The competition indeed has been stoppage because of world cup but don't mean those clubs will rested too and some of managers has realized this situations that some of big teams on Premier League such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United will have several schedules for friendly matches so their managers will utilized those matches to evaluate the weakness of teams each and to maintain teams performance and besides that these matches also can be utilized for the players who didn't defend their national team to maintain their fitness balance so basically there is no wasted time although European league will had a long break

Arsenal indeed have a really interesting fixture in January. They are going to play against Newcastle, Tottenham and Manchester United respectively in three weeks. Playing two of these games home is still an advantage for them of course. But it is the truth that these games are all really challenging ones. They have got only one loss so far and that was against Manchester United away. Maybe it will be revenge time for Arsenal also. I wonder if Arsenal will get any loss after leaving these games behind.

The most probable team that can do this to Arsenal seems like Newcastle honestly. They are also on a huge streak and they are one of the most impressive teams. Tottenham are going to have a home game against Arsenal so I see them as the second most likely team for making it. I'm putting Manchester United to the last place in this list despite beating Arsenal before. Because they seem the most problematic team among those ones for now.
