222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Libra the future anyone wants? on: September 13, 2019, 04:03:33 PM
A rigged game that is what everyone wants? I don't think so.

So a private company (Facebook) which been found guilty of data mishandling is confirming, validating and can see every transaction of another private company (lets say Jeff's Locksmith) or private person (judge, solicitor, clerk, cashier, officer....... ) who has never in life done anything wrong, but (Jeff's Locksmith) can not see anything the other private company (Facebook) is doing.

It the same as playing poker, one holding the cards facing him, the other player must have its cards face up, that's a rigged game, a scam, the one how must show its face can not possible win.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xrp Price low what Reasons? on: September 12, 2019, 02:09:25 PM
I think if you want to buy XRP, you can do it right now while the price is low because of the price increases or it gets a rally, and you will miss the best chance to buy XRP. But you need to research before you buy, don't listen to other people suggests but you need to do it by yourself, so you know what is going on with XRP. You cannot depend on other people says because they don't know the truth so if you already search about XRP and you found that XRP will have a chance to increase, you can directly to buy at the market.
No can not buy a xrp unless you buy the whole company.
You can lease xrp the same way when you exchange fiat for some casino token/chips/jetons its not a ownership, even when you take home a pocket full of them it will always belong to the Casino/Ripple.
If you have been fooled of believing to own it or "invested" in a lease you are a crime victim.

True Bitcoiners do not think in terms of 'cashing out'.
True Bitcoiners are rare in this part of town, mostly confirmed no coiners.

Is whitepaper important in the project?
Is a plan to build a house important? If you just build a shack you can do without, if you want a sophisticated comfortable living home you its essential. You also need one if you depend on a loan to build.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Facebook’s Libra on: September 09, 2019, 08:42:10 AM
Libra is good for the industry....

Fail to see the good to have another bank with it own in house currency pegged to a bunch of fiat currencies.
In Northern Ireland every bank has its own notes, all pegged to the English pound in UK, outside higher exchange fees arise.
Libra is no different to opening a bank account, except there is not physical branch.
Is Zuckerberg god? he can see everyone's transactions and who exactly is checking/verifying his ID on sign up process?
Apple has already hinted they will create own coin

Effects of inflation, purchasing power decreasing, poorer day by day.
If you started with $100 when the Federal Reserve was first created in 1913, it would now be worth $3.87.
1913: $100
1923: $57.89
1933: $76.15
1943: $57.23
1953: $37.08
1963: $32.35
1973: $22.30
1983: $9.94
1993: $6.85
2003: $5.38
2013: $4.25
2019: $3.87

I did not say the protocol could not be changed. I am pointing out Krubster's rather daft implication that the Satoshi-CSW question has anything whatsoever to do with the fact that SegWit is the alteration.
Sir,

I have always respected you. Not for your believes, but for being a gentleman and keeping a civilized tone despite all the (unfair?) bashing you receive.

You're very intelligent, I give you that. I do however don't agree with you. For me, segwit is bitcoin, anything else is an altcoin.

Just because segwit wasn't mentioned in the whitepaper some 10 years ago, doesn't mean it can't be bitcoin.

Things evole. Technology improve. Just as bitcoin has improved. Segwit is a part of that improvement.
If you hold a plan to build a house in your hand and deceit to throw it away to build a bridge, you will sleep under a bridge, would you have followed original plan you be sleeping in a house.

Segwit/Lightning is xrp version 2, same junk as version 1
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xrp Price low what Reasons? on: September 07, 2019, 03:35:12 PM
XRP price low? how did you come to that flawed result?
Also mostly people like to own something not lease it. A lease is not a investment.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: September 07, 2019, 09:33:02 AM
Has either of them solved the scaling issue, without it no long term hope of grow.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LTC halving on: September 07, 2019, 09:29:52 AM
At the beginning of August, there is LTC halving. Does Btc and ltc move together or does ltc increase independently?

I think LTC will move independently. Every coin has a team, so they have their own strategies to increase the price of coins. But all of these coins are inseparable from Bitcoin.

I think that the bitcoin forks are doing what litecoin used to do. Sad to say, but look at the prices of those sh*tcoins vs Litecoin. I'm in at 434 coins I bought at

$85 or so. Thus, I'm hodl'ing for mMmblewimble. Mimblewimble is my only hope or that they really have been having development which will show up on GitHub

finally. But the confusion on why BCH and BSV are doing as well as they have at for price is a continuing mystery to me, indeed!

Silly Primates

Brad

A mystery, considering the amount of development?Huh
Litecoins transactions are decreasing

almost daily some new app, here some of them

Silly Brad

It is just a matter of time until all of BTC is uploaded to the BitCoin blockchain
Scaling, who can and who cant, without it, bye bye
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin in 2019 on: September 05, 2019, 01:32:40 PM
In all this years, why is it not making any progress? Number of transactions is actually falling.

crypto has some very sad areas within, and SV is part of that sad/shit area for sure.
sad areas in crypto?, ico scams, instamine-premine-ninjamine......, exit scams, the "least" xrp scam, printed stablecoins.......
would not like to see anonymous coins areas, no thanks.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the prediction of ethereum as of now? on: September 03, 2019, 08:27:16 AM
Has scaling been sorted?
Without it being sorted growing is not possible, when its full, its full.
When on maximum capacity adding more results in some kind of failure.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BSV] [Bitcoin SV] Original Satoshi Vision on: September 02, 2019, 04:42:21 PM
For a lot of people there is only Bitcoin (BTC) and a couple of other popular forks for Bitcoin such as Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV or Bitcoin Gold, but in reality there are much more than just these. According to a website called Forkdrop that is tracking the available Bitcoin, as well as some altcoin forks, the number is quite big already – there are 105 Bitcoin fork projects in total, though not all of them are active or operational yet. Of those 105 in total, 74 are considered active projects relevant to holders of Bitcoin (BTC) and the remaining 31 are considered historic and are no longer relevant. Furthermore of the 74 active Bitcoin fork projects 45 projects have a currently-operating blockchain network capable of transacting and 29 projects do not have a currently-operating blockchain network capable of transacting, however are considered to be still in development.

You might be interested in checking these Bitcoin forks, especially if you have held bitcoins for a long time and are in full control of your private keys/wallets as you might be able to claim some of these coins for free. With some of these Bitcoin forks you are entitled to 1:1 of the respective coins you had in BTC at the time of the fork others have provided airdrops or are still providing for the holders of coins at a specific block at which the fork occurred and a snapshot has been made. The idea is that some of these projects are more or less established and have a decent trading volume and are present on exchanges, so it could be some free money for you or an extra bag of coins to hold for a better future. Either way it is worth checking out the information provided by Forkdrop as it might be helpful and profitable.

Check out the website Forkdrop for more information about the available Bitcoin forks on https://forkdrop.io/

Dont matter how many fork, only one coin can successfully scale, BSV.   No scaling, no possibility to grow.
Dont matter how many useless forks are created without use case, its worthless junk.
