Yes. 60 million ETH at launch. inflation / mining: 7200 blocks per day x 5 Ether-per-block. = 36,000 ETH/day. (or 13.1 million new Ether mined per year, fixed supply). There is no hard cap.

Will die out like most of these 2.0 coins
Except ETH isn't a coin it's a platform. Yeh will make a nice splash. What platform level will you use to jump from?

Lets analyze The 2 mil premine is a Blockchain certified fact. Apart from the starting "mishaps" the coin for the first half year or so was know for fast easy cpu mining and block reward was way more then the lousy 2 coins a miner gets this days. With half a dozen new cryptocoins released daily at the time fast easy cpu mining was not something the guys with big rigs where interested, so difficult was low, dev and mates mined away with nice reward and at the same time buying in large quantities because he know he will set up a pyramid scheme from the beginning. andWith meaningful mining out of the way the coin with a new name and new claim of being the first anonymous it was time to get those farmer's boys interested in the coin. The crock Mintpal exchange will help. Devs bot buying and selling, sending volume sky high (about 2 mil a week on mintpal alone) farmers boy sees it thinks damn this shit must be good better than my cows boo. Now its time to get rite of those nasty miners who just dump all there hard earned coins and get this Masternode thing happening to milk the Farmer lads we have en in the stable. A max of 585 Masternodes have been created from Masternode rewards until end July 2015 with a average of 1.6 per day for the last 30 days. It is a fair guess 1800 Masternodes belong to dev and buddys + Otoh's 450 or so and the rest the Dictators henchmen which work the forums or write stories (someone has to do the the dirty work). With so many coins at his disposal price is heavy manipulated (depending how many he dumps or stashes) and anonymity nothing but snake oil, exiting only possible at great slippage as no liquidity. If he has, or wholesale will sell his stash to some 3 letter agency is up to anyones private take on it. To find Farmers boys to milk is the only thing to do now.

I can see Ripple is #2 in market cap on Coinmarketcap, while on Worldcoinindex it is #9. Hmm...interesting Ripple is number 2 too on Worldcoinindex if you sort by marketcap. Worldcoinindex updates a lot more frequent and you can see last change if red or green.

With so many companies, products, services, Diat, Video Streaming standard, Japanese manga, repository Morse code, unprocessed cooking ........unique brand recognition is next to impossible. Bitcoin, Darkcoin, Whatevercoin no company or product exist and its easy recognized as a cryptocurrency. Each of them is a ocean themselves instead of just a drop in the ocean. Another one of this incurable disease is Goldcoin.

No Government or Bank will ever create a Proof of Work (PoW) coin, period. It separates the Men from the Boys.

i think the most significant red flag is the pre mine or any sort of ninja pre mining which leads to a lot of blocks being mined as the coins is released.
Sadly it happens all to often.

Is stellar ever going to release some new features...or they just continuing to pimp the coin to the worlds under banked...
As I can see, Stellar price is still doing steady progress for some time... depends. should they issue more coins, the price will plummet. so I wouldn't count on the price for long to be honest At some stage they have to issue new coins as over 95 billion still to come and no new coins have hit the market in ages. Only existing once trade back and forth. Exchanges should be held responsible for the disaster in the making.

The correct question would be: Why is NXT not a top 10 coin? Because it simply is not good enough.

During the Dutch Golden Age in the late 16th century onward, the Dutch Republic dominated world trade in the 17th century, conquering a vast colonial empire and operating the largest fleet of merchantmen of any nation. The County of Holland was the wealthiest and most urbanized region in the world., then came Rampjaar and the country was was attacked by England, France, and Germany (prince-bishops Bernhard von Galen, bishop of Münster and Maximilian Henry of Bavaria, the archbishop of Cologne). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Republic7 times 7 times 7 SHEMITAH cycle, fast forward 7*7*7 = 343 years https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkELgi6EkNo&feature=youtu.beSo a difference in dates is the cube of the number seven in one calendar system..... Clearly we should devise a new calendar system that allows every day to be the cube of one or another number. This would be the best thing since sliced bread. No shortage of calendar systems, but business has been done on Gregorian calendar since 1582 Until 1672 Dutch where masters of the universe and ruled world trade

They focus on two completely different markets and people.. Why compare them? Because both start with a D and have been doing quite well?
Well they exchange blows for over a year. If something is at it for so long you can say they fight in same weight devision. Yes they have different characters, thats what the public loves.

I don't like either of them but I'd say that marketcap is pretty meaningless. I think volume is way more important but unfortunately coinmarketcap only tracks the last 24h. A long term volume graph comparison might be more interesting.
One is messured in 1m the other in 100k ~3to1 the last big spike is less the 400k vs more than 1.2m

A major contest has happened the past year Between the two D's Currently Dogecoin leads by points: lost less over the year and more volume on average. Place your bets, the bell rings for the next round.
