1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple still viable? on: August 12, 2017, 11:35:12 PM
Dogecoin now $0.001864
Ripples   XRP   $0.174749
Both have about the same total supply, both are a good laugh in the crypto scene, both are broken in some way and one has the bonus of having a horrendous distribution (10% of all to a single person).

1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple still viable? on: August 12, 2017, 11:39:24 AM
about the guy who post huge pictures, I saw your post in speculation subforum, really looks like spam at this point. I don't think anyone understand what you're saying (24 million a day would mean total supply distributed in a few years not 123 years).
Anyway, personally I'm happy if the supply takes a long time do be distributed and inflation rate is very low.

You are exactly the kind of guy the Ripple investor invested in. Picture perfect XRP "investor".

Here is the simplified Kindergarten version.
Bitcoins supply halves every 4 years, and 4.5 Million still need mining-selling for the work done.
Are you still with me, good, lets move on.
Lets assume we have 1023 units and need disturbing in the next 10 days
Bitcoin goes about releasing 512 today 256 tomorrow and 128 the day after and so on. On the last day 1
512
256
128
64
32
16
8
4
2
1
------
1023

With 61 Billion XRP still looking for a buyer using Bitcoins release schedule would mean 24 Million XRP must be sold every day and not 1 Million as it happens now
If today is only 1 sold total remaining is 1022 xrp.  As Bitcoin has sold 512 today total remaining is 511

If 512 can sell at todays price how much will 256 sell for tomorrow?
To create a Bitcoin is not free that gives it value. No such thing money for nothing.

XRP is provable not a Blockchain technology it is a Distributed Database. Worlds apart, well 50 years of technology advancements.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ripple still viable? on: August 12, 2017, 08:15:45 AM
Considering the cost of a single coin, the supply looks normal to me, ethereum doesn't have a hard cap but they seem fine.
Total supply won't be distributed before a long long time probably decades and decreasing with XRP destroyed during each transaction.

With the same distribution timeframe than Bitcoin (123 years) 24 Million xrp should be sold every single day only about 1.2 Million is sold. The less sold at lower price the bigger the problem later.

Banks business is to charge fees not pay them.

Banks where never using xrp in first place, some have a working agreement with Ripple. From a technical standpoint a single xrp works just as well as billions.

XRP is a long term hold, 1 year from now it will have made a lot of people very happy. Every week it seems more banks are looking into the Ripple technology

It's just abit discouraging to see the price remain so stagnant despite all these banks using ripple.

Ask yourself, do Banks shy away from easy money?  You can rest assured no Bank has bought a single XRP from Ripple at market-price.
Ask yourself, will droves line up do sent money to a company in San Francisco to buy xrp which is backed by absolute nothing.
Ask yourself, will banks pay for a money service or will they charge for it? Yes banks have copied ripples code to create the own Distributed Database. (Project Ubin)
Emerging markets (india..) buy something they have real use for, mobile phone talk time. Thats why M-Pesa has taken of. I do not like the development of it, but thats an entirely different story.
Unconfirmed 1,225,087 xrp have been sold the past 50 days, daily average. It should be 24,600,000 Million when Bitcoin distribution model is used. The fewer sold early the bigger the problem later.

1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- Ripple -- Japanese banks will start using XRP this year on: August 10, 2017, 06:16:22 PM
Whats stopping the "banks" from creating there own ripple like tech?

Nothing, but why would they when they can already use the Ripple solution? Also how do they gain an advantage by using their own system? Unless you're talking about them using their own token instead of XRP.  So yes, they could use their own system and own token to replace both the Ripple solution and XRP... But Ripple has a huge first-mover advantage here, they've been working at this for years, they've moved far beyond proof-of-concept... they're already at advanced stages with the relevant legal authorities and actively building liquidity in the target corridors. By the time any competitor gets off the ground, Ripple and XRP will already be the industry standard.

There is some dreamers around incredible.
Banks dont dance to the music a third party plays . Banks play and you dance not the other way round.

1066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ---The Ripple Effect--- on: August 09, 2017, 06:45:04 PM
I own a tiny amount of Ripple and can totally see this being the solution for banks to transmit currency... but does that make it a good investment?  What stops a centralized org from creating more XRP; creating the same situation we have with fiat currency?

  • It's not centralized - anybody can run a validator
  • Why would the validators vote to increase the amount of XRP and destroy their own investment and the entire XRP market?  It makes no sense.

JoelKatz (a.k.a. David Schwartz) has responded to this accusation numerous times, but it seems like those posters with an agenda just like to repeat the same FUD over and over.

Here's where to find instructions on running your own validator node on the XRP network: https://ripple.com/build/rippled-setup/

The amount of bullshit and lies in this forum is mind blowing.
One Company and one company only is selling every single XRP he calls it decentralized.
Hodor7777 is a typical example how a Rippple investor fleeces the poor XRP investors so he can enjoy a comfortable life.

1067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: August 09, 2017, 01:06:38 PM

Over the last 47 Days on average Ripple Inc sold  1,116,044 Million XRP per day. If Bitcoins release schedule is used 24 Million XRP would need to be sold each and every day.
With static release 1,373,221 Million (~2 billion every 4 years) would need to be sold each and every day for the next 123 Years to get them all distributed. Every day when less than 24 000 000 Million xrp sold things get worse and worse as more xrp need to find a buyer and market getting smaller and smaller with more currencies every day. Even Banks make the own coin now. When everyone has his own coin and Atomic swapping is active, speed is not an issue and is much faster than Ripples database which crawls when compared to Visa and co.

You can lead a Horse to the water, but you cant make it drink

(ps if anyone know how much Ripple Inc. has spend on xrp security for the past financial years drop a line)

1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripples XRP Shenanigans Observation on: August 09, 2017, 08:36:36 AM
Update, another day and another day of no xrp sales.
With apparently 38,343,841,883 Billion xrp sold* so far that averages out to about 22,837,309 Million xrp sold per day until today
The last 46 days only 1,140,306 Million xrp have been sold thats average $213,955.21 a day
With 61,650,736,692 Billion xrp still locking for a buyer thats a static 1,373,221 Million every day until the last bitcoin is mined in 2140 (123 years)
Bitcoin already has almost 80% on the market and have reward having every 4 years and not a static mining reward
Anyone who can not see the looming xrp crisis does not deserve money.
The whole point of crypto is to do away with the parasite banks, once banks are done with so is xrp, if not before as banks do make the own distributed database and not relay on a third party
* most where given away friend family......

It should be 24 Million xrp sold every day if the same release schedule as Bitcoin
It is now even fallen below the static 1,373,893 needed to distribute the coins. For the last 47 day the average is only 1,116,044 Million sales daily

But increasing the block size doesn’t help Bitcoin rise to a level where they can support the number of payments of a truly international currency.

Stopped here. This is total nonsense claims backed by nothing. Research proves you can. Article debunked.

I have a profound respect for truth, objective facts, and science.

lol, here get some facts into you

Science, provable, observable repeatable. A shadow  can never under any circumstance be smaller than the object casting the shadow.
Tell me on August 22 how a 2159 mile diameter moon casted a 70 mile shadow on Augusts 21 solar eclipse.

Just about the entire country should be in a total eclipse not a 70 mile strip.

Now go back and cheer for your scam centralized broken database crap to earn your pay.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripples XRP Shenanigans Observation on: August 05, 2017, 07:54:47 PM
Been a long time since last update.

So whats new. Same same Bitcoin mined a whole bunch of coins and managed a new all time high price. The Ripple Inc corp failed to sell any xrp today although yesterday managed some sales.
Since beginning of the thread Bitcoin managed to add almost 0.4% of total to circulating supply and Ripple a measly 0,0525% xrp
Graphic view of the looming catastrophe once the insane amount of coins start looking for a buyer.

Opening Post has all the info
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripples XRP Shenanigans Observation on: August 02, 2017, 12:34:07 AM
So another day has past and no new investment for this broken distributed database. Wounder why?

Fact, contractual agreements only affect Ripple and have nothing to do with xrp.
Fact, from Ripples technical operations a single xrp works as well as 100 000 000 000 xrp
Fact, 'namini' the Ripple investor continually fleeces xrp investors by convincing them their money is better stored in his pocket

......
by the way, i would be very very careful to click on links posted by OP. Malware alert on my computer
Care to elaborate, or is it just blah,blah..

Edit:
Came across some interesting factual data of the two 100 Billion mishaps. It is impossible not to spot the correlation of the two jokers in the game. Much Wow such bondage

btw,no new xrp hit the road again

Your grammar is a miserable fail. Lol

Your analysis is like the analysis of stevie wonder looking at women lmao.

And your intentions are like the intentions of a 10 year old autist.

Dont worry about the grammar only being forum standard. Do worry about the proven broken database you shill for. All info at opening post.

Anyway back to todays observation.

It is in no way verifiable, todays number popping up is: 38333090674 which means no new xrp have been added to circulating supply out of the massive total. Disaster in the making.

1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripples XRP Shenanigans Observation on: July 30, 2017, 01:31:08 AM
Do you really think someone will take you seriously with all the posts you deleted and your previous thread locked, even with lames excuses like "useless screen-clutter".
I tried to answer honestly and to the best of my knowledge to your posts but, it's useless and anyway I don't even know what you're talking about now. Tax returns?! Seriously, wtf.

Anyone has to deceit for them-selfs if known facts be taken seriously or not.
A link was placed as replacement for the useless screen clutter. This is not a price discussion or speculation thread.
To be honest the Tax questions only crossed my mind whilst typing the last post. Have to get deeper into. To may knowledge it is a San Francisco Software company but California seems not knowing it.

There is enough other shit making your hair stand up in horror. Dive right in OP

1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripples XRP Shenanigans Observation on: July 29, 2017, 05:33:44 PM
@namini
deleted a second time the useless screen-clutter, left it up long enough for everyone to see, in case someone missed it: https://img4.hostingpics.net/pics/678788del.png

Now back to business. 38,333,090,674 XRP is the number which popped up which means no new tokens released last 24h from the massive total supply.
There is no way of verifying if this number is in any way correct at all to start with.
Dogecoin and XRP have about the same total supply and Dogecoin releases 14,000,000 new coins a day gives somewhat a comparison (may have to include it in the chart).

As some here like to claim yesterdays 801,090 xrp where sold at yesterdays regular price then there will be also be a sales tax paid, oder?
Since Ripple Inc is a company where can can tax returns be found for the last couple of years.
Since the company also holds the total unreleased coins is't that a company asset, how does that fall into tax equation.
A over time we will get to the bottom of this mess.

XRP Token (0,0417%) and Bitons (0,33%) released since beginning of observation

Meanwhile in bitcoinland, all nice and tidy: https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC

The author of this topic is a joke, I tried to have an honest conversation and there again he deleted one of my posts today.
I think if he delete one more post, I'll create a topic, compiling all my deleted posts.
The only joke is Ripples broken database.
Anyone at anytime can look at lets say ledger number 666 and can see with 100% certainty something is not right/broken. It is a fact.

Go ahead delete again!

It was deleted because it is totally worthless post for the topic. Here is a simpler way of looking at updated charts https://www.worldcoinindex.com/ (before anyone starts screaming click on marketcap)

XRP real marketcap is less than 1 Billion
Banks wont deal with a Broken Database instead create the own.

Singapore’s central bank (MAS) and some serious big banks got together and decided to go head to head with Ripple Inc and build its own Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Database that is spread across multiple sites, countries or institutions.

With Ubin fully implemented what has xrp going for it?
