201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will no longer do bounty campaigns in anything other than BTC or ETH on: June 15, 2018, 06:01:17 PM
They pay in their tokens because it's literally free money, they don't have to spend anything. The upside of that for you is that if they actually pay you get far higher payouts than normal campaigns in btc. A normal campaign will earn you around 100$ per week, a bounty campaign can be 500$ per week if successful.
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition? on: June 15, 2018, 05:59:05 PM
In such a bearish market, are you making your trading moves by technical analysis or just follow your heart and believe some coin will start to bounce back hardly or something else?

It is true that it is the fundamental analysis that is more important for the cryptocurrency market than the technical one. This fact is repeatedly confirmed by sharp jumps in the prices of cryptocurrencies, which reacted to positive or negative news from the world of the cryptocurrency industry. But it is worth taking into account the fact that technical analysis is still important, but on condition that it will be taken into account with all other instruments, like: cryptocurrency analysis of the prospects of a single coin and general analytics of the entire cryptocurrency market that changes every day. As professional traders say: "to be a successful trader you need to live it"

Most of the ''fundamentals'' of fundamental analysis cannot be applied to most cryptos because they aren't companies or businesses. Most of them don't have earnings or revenues or margin profits so how are you successfully applying fundamental analysis here? You can do some analysis on ICO's but other coins, how?
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: discuss the market? on: June 15, 2018, 05:55:42 PM
Nothing yet, it looks bad so far, no signals of reversal so btc below 6k seems possible. We will see how the market reacts to that, maybe a strong bounce, maybe not, you just have to wait for the signals, going in early is a plan for disaster.
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your recommended crypto allocation? on: June 15, 2018, 05:54:39 PM
Nothing, all meaningless during this bear trends. Wait for a reversal signal and see who is the strongest, for example last time, ethereum was demolishing bitcoin, probably the same will happen this time so I would go with ethereum but time will tell.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Manual vs Automated trading on: June 15, 2018, 05:53:40 PM
You can't really only use automated trading, you will always have to adjust anyways so it isn't really automated. News and market sentiment is something a bot cannot understand. I personally would pick manual always.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k USD Buy & Hold Crypto Currency Portfolio, Launches Today (June 13, 2018) on: June 15, 2018, 05:52:28 PM
During this bear market the full potential of alt coins will not be reached. Everything goes down with bitcoin, it's annoying. Let's wait for the market to calm down a little bit. Portfolios are more or less meaningless now just like they were during the bull market, everything was up, now everything is down.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Fear is more profitable than enthusiasm at the moment! on: June 15, 2018, 05:50:10 PM
Enthusiasm is more profitable, it's just harder to induce but we all saw what happened last time, from 1k to 20k in no time, not something that you can achieve with fear. Also the crypto market hasn't received bad news lately, at least not anything big so fear could turn into hope really soon, I still think we will break below 6k though.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: risk in hodling and trading strategy on: June 15, 2018, 05:45:31 PM
It's just much healthier to trade. Holding in crypto can be a really hard mental task, even more than trading. When trading, as long as you are doing it right, you always set a stop loss, you know that even if you fail 1 or 2 trades, you only lose a set % of money, you can even lose 5 trades, 10, 20, it doesn't matter as long as you are using a good risk reward ratio.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price is up, volume is down, Is this a bull trap? on: June 15, 2018, 05:16:19 PM
Noticed the volume is still in decline but the price is increasing, could this be another bump before we test $6k again?

It's just a small bounce because the RSI levels were down, also the news about SEC regulations pushed the price a little further. Now that the RSI levels have cooled down a little bit, we will probably see further decline. We are very likely going to hit below 6k.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices always going down, is investor confidence finally breaking? on: June 15, 2018, 05:14:54 PM

Bearish trends have been dominating the market since mid-Jan. Is what we are seeing a sign of investor confidence finally breaking?

You can't say that the market has been in downtrend all the time from January to June, the price of bitcoin has increased from 6000 to 9700, which is more than 30%, altcoins have risen even more during this period, some showed growth of 200-300%, now the market is on the decline again, but this should be seen as an opportunity to buy ..

Actually this shouldn't be seen as an opportunity to buy. People do not understand what it means to buy a dip. It doesn't mean you can buy whenever the price goes down, if you did that since it hit 20k you would be broke right now. The good strategy is to wait for reversal signs, right now we have none, buying at this price wouldn't be a smart idea.
211  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some realy fu**ing good News. (...don't sell!) on: June 15, 2018, 05:11:26 PM
Not all cryptos, though. Plus everyone knew that ETH was not a security. They said some ICO's might be. Obviously good news but not amazing, this is not going to move the market up that much.

I wouldn't say everyone knew ETH isn't a security. After all, it began with an ICO, and SEC spokespeople have long said that most ICOs constitute securities. I've seen many people assume it was a security based solely on that.

I wouldn't expect any effect on the market at all. It's not really even good news per se (regarding actual fundamentals). It just confirms lower regulatory requirements for some assets, which is good for traders and exchanges regarding KYC, capital requirements, disclosures, etc.

I meant to say that everyone was expecting ETH not to be a security so this was just a reassurance as you said. That's why it wont move the market much. The small bounce was nice but not even close to what's needed and there was no follow up. We are probably going below 6k this weekend.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition? on: June 15, 2018, 05:09:57 PM
Do not fall for one technical analysis. First of all, we need to look at the fundamental analysis and how the project is developed and draw the appropriate conclusions.

How are you going to apply fundamental analysis to bitcoin? Or to any other coin for that matter. Fundamental analysis uses revenues, earnings, future growth, return on equity, profit margins, and other data to determine a company's underlying value and potential for future growth, most of it cannot be applied to cryptocurrencies since most of them are not even companies or businesses.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading by technical analysis or just intuition? on: June 14, 2018, 11:32:13 PM
With crypto, the technical analysis is pretty much a meme. Whales can manipulate markets too easily for a normal person to read any info from the trendlines. Intuition and just keeping up with the news are your biggest helpers.

Meh, reeee manipulation reeee. Yes, there is manipulation but not as much as everyone tries to make it seem, without evidence btw. Screaming manipulation accomplishes nothing. Plenty of people make money just with TA so it must be working. Look up TheChartGuys on youtube.

215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum oscillating on: June 14, 2018, 11:25:05 PM
With the recent SEC news hopefully ethereum starts outperforming bitcoin again. Looking forward for the day when ethereum has a bigger marketcap than bitcoin. Maybe next year.
216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: June 14, 2018, 11:24:06 PM
I always day trade when I identify a bull trend. Right now we are clearly in a bear trend for the past few weeks, I'm waiting for the next bull trend, it's fairly easy to daytrade in a bulltrend, RSI below 30 always bounces a lot, it's also very easy to play the waves.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IOS Token (IOST) Ready to boom the market on: June 14, 2018, 11:20:58 PM
I wish we could get detached from bitcoin. It's really unfortunate and annoying that bitcoin pretty much controls the whole market and really good token/coins can't excel. Even BNB after an absurd amount of good news from Binance barely saw some green. If these news were happening in 2017, BNB would have been at 50$ easily.

IOST has tremendous potential too, hopefully the market calms down and alt coins can go up.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices always going down, is investor confidence finally breaking? on: June 14, 2018, 11:18:14 PM
Regulations forming = real investors coming in. Nasdaq said they would get in when regulations are set, this year we are seeing a lot of regulations which will be tremendously good long term. Other big exchanges, real ones also said they are interested to get in.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is that a begining of the end? on: June 14, 2018, 11:16:38 PM
Yeah, this is the end obviously, bitcoin 6k dollars it's game over guys, pack it up. It's unfortunate that 99% of people in the crypto market are idiots and they panic every single time when this literally happened 2 times already.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin back to $500 is likeley on: June 14, 2018, 11:13:04 PM
OP is laughing at everyone commenting and posting here, this was clearly a sarcastic/troll post and everyone jumped in like a bunch of idiots.

pd: It might go below 6k, thankfully the SEC news helped a little.
