301  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the best exchanges to trade. on: May 03, 2018, 10:36:56 PM
I like some trading exchanges are to good to trade,
Bittrex,
Hitbtc,
Cryptopia,
Poloniex,

There are many people having issues with HitBTC. Have your personally used it in the past?

Basically it's fine for small amount but if you deposit a large amount they are known to lock accounts and prevent withdraws. If you check their thread you will find many people who ran into issues when they tried to dump their Bitcoin forked coins.

Just like bittrex tho. A lot of people had their accounts disabled or unverified for no reason and had to wait months to get it solved. Cryptopìa is also not an amazing choice, it's a pretty crappy exchange to be honest. Poloniex is certainly not bad but not amazing either. Binance should be number 1, bitmex works well for short selling as well but doesn't work with US residents.
302  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: May 03, 2018, 10:35:28 PM
You can not say if it is bull market by increase in price. The trade volumes must increase too and there must be more buyers than sellers.

Overall trading volume is increasing quite steadily, so is the marketcap. Right now with the recent bull breaks of eth, ltc and even bitcoin we can definitely say we are in a bull trend, the big resistance is at the last high of around 12k. If we break 12k convincingly then we will be back in a bull market, for sure.
303  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis of the mid-term for Bitcoin price on: May 03, 2018, 10:33:36 PM
What I clearly see is a tightening pattern on the weekly charts and when it breaks it's going to indicate pretty much where bitcoin is headed for the rest of the year, we are getting close to a break, 1-2 months and we will probably see a break and considering the good news and rumors around bitcoin I would say a bull break is more likely.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Strategy: holding but trading on: May 03, 2018, 10:25:52 PM
Man, trading doesn't work like this. If you want to trade check chart at least every 5 hours. If you want to hold, don't even look there until you think it is time start trading. That is it for your question

Unfortunately people can't control themselves and they will eventually look at the chart, that's why it doesn't matter whether is short or long term investments, people usually do panic sell or panic buy. Investing in cryptos in general is difficult unless you are really good at controlling your emotions, a psychopath or an idiot.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Wanchain a sound investment or over hyped? on: May 03, 2018, 10:23:50 PM
Wanchain has just solidly refreshed ATH on the news about Huobi listing. It's making already more than x2 for ~1.5 months since the 1st exchange listing. And yes i agree that WAN is overbought but EOS example makes me believe in some room  for WAN to keep growing.

Just because other shitcoins are growing doesn't mean wanchain will too. In bull market/trends everything grows and makes it look like you are a genius at picking coins when in reality you are not. That being said, wanchain does have a great team behind it and they already have a working product but wanchain is already expensive so the room for growth might be smaller than other coins.
306  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: May 03, 2018, 10:17:41 PM
Entire crypto market is bull market, rising technology that`s have more and more followers, thus more and more money is being pumped into. Like always its all about point of view, you can call entire market bull market if you watch period from beginning of crypto until now, its bear if you judge by the last ath and price now. If your view have just last 3 days in sight then you are in bull/bear market everyday cause of the constant fluctuation.

Although the market itself is bullish, it doesn't mean that every individual cryptocurrency/token will be profitable. In fact when the market really matures most top cryptos will die since they have no product or application and some of them are literally just copies of bitcoin or other well established coins.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: May 03, 2018, 09:39:38 PM
Well, seems like we are indeed entering a bull market/trend. The price has been pretty strong for the past month now so it is a good time to buy. Some people get it wrong and think that when the price goes up it's better to sell but it's not really the case. Look at bitcoin when it went from 8k to 10k, for example, everyone thought that selling was the best thing to do and yet bitcoin reached 20k a few days later. You have to play the pumps.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: May 03, 2018, 09:37:55 PM
More confirmation for what I said: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/25/nasdaq-is-open-to-becoming-cryptocurrency-exchange-ceo-says.html

Nasdq CEO said they are open to become a cryptocurrency exchange but only when the market matures and regulations are smooth. This is what I mean when I say that a regulated and mature market will attract big investors. I can't think of better news than Nasdaq accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: we're pumpin right now on: May 03, 2018, 09:27:50 PM
Just like the last time we bounced from 6500 when there was a daily tightening pattern, this time we also had a daily tightening pattern, ethereum broke it first and jumped more than 10% in a very short amount of time, bitcoin followed a bit later though and we did break the last high of 9767 but only briefly, however it does look like it's going to give it another try as we are aproachinig 9700 again.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Achain [ACT] ready for take off ? Easy x5-10 on: May 03, 2018, 09:25:28 PM
I believe you can do 5X. But 10x will take a very long time. It should be 1.5 billion dollars at 5x.

I don't think so. Even right now (when the market isn't all that bullish), the market cap of top 25 coins is around 1.5+ billion dollars. Achain can make it to the top 25 coins if it manages to get listed at Binance, Bittrex, Bithumb, etc.

Achain right now seems more like what Vechain was like just a few months back. Now Vechain is among the top 15 coins (by market cap).

And honestly vechain should be higher, achain and vechain are the few coins that are always having new partnerships or good news in general and yet their prices are not being affected by the news which makes me very bullish about them, long term, of course.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Payfair on: May 02, 2018, 08:42:46 PM
They recently (few days ago) launched their exchange https://payfair.io/ and the price has been rallying up a little bit: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/payfair/ but I still think their currency is extremely undervalued. Considering that they already have a working product (their exchange) I would say it can easily do a x5 or x10. The only reason the price is still cheap it's because it's not on any big exchange. IDEX is good but not enough. What do you think?
312  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market on: April 27, 2018, 03:13:21 PM
If this time is the real bull matket it should goes to as high as last year, so i predict it will goes at least $35k for bitcoin and $3k for ethereum and the crypto market cap will surpasses 1 trillion by this half year. Then we will little bit going down for correction before bull again at the end of year.

So as high as last year but bitcoin to 35k and ethereum to 3k. Thanks for your insights. If we hit the ATHs again it will be by the end of the year and that's best case scenario. In fact it would be better to go slowly otherwise we are going to end up in the same place as before if it goes too fast too high.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I do? on: April 27, 2018, 02:54:51 PM
It's easy, just hold.  Wink
There is no other way to save your money.

To this point, I agree that holding is the best option if you already lost 80-90% of your initial investment you might as well just hold but you should have never gotten to this point. You should always set stop losses even if you want to hold for a very long time because no cryptocurrency is safe.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: April 27, 2018, 02:52:47 PM
Looking at the chart you can see the obvious signals "buy" # 1-5 I guess.

https://imgur.com/rGdvd1z

It seems for me that there is consolidation for further explosive growth of the token.

Or are these false signals?

What you see on the charts in the form of thorns, these are not signals, that's just huge orders, which were put when the course was low. Time for buying was two months ago, now you can buy also, but it's not as profitable as it was in January or February. The main downturn in the market has passed already, and now there will be gradual growth.

The best time to invest was a few weeks ago when we hit almost the same low as the last time, we are still not very far ahead anyways so there is still a lot of room for growth. This coin in particular though, not the best investment.
315  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for early adopters for crypto trading simulator on: April 27, 2018, 02:29:42 PM
Yep we are using real time data from Bitfinex. Orders are executing comparing to amount of trades on Bitfinex. So it can be filled partially if it is limit order. Or maybe it will not be filled at all. If there are no volumes  on Bitfinex. So it will be really very similar to real trading.
But what's the real advantage of your platform? I mean people can go directly to Bitfinex and learn how to trade with really small amounts of money. Without risking too much, they can learn the mechanics of trading. Do you offer some classes tutoring lectures strategies in addition to what people can experience at an exchange?

That's a pretty stupid thing to say. A lot of stock exchanges have a demo or simulator to trade. No one is going to use small amounts to learn how to trade, fees still exist and even if you are using really small amounts you are going to lose all of it in a quick trade and you have to start again with another small amount.

Count me in btw to test.

I will test it too.

But from my experience, nothing could change the real trading, because the executed virtual orders doesn't move the market while the real order does. I learn it the hard way few years ago when I was learning UK Horse trading on Betfair.

Unless you have a lot of money you are not going to move the markets anyways, specially stock markets and honestly it's really not that big of a deal. Maybe on UK horse trading it does have a big impact but overall it's not important and it's still a needed tool for every beginner unless they want to lose all their money in their first month of trading.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time to buy Credits? on: April 27, 2018, 02:09:44 PM
Well it is a pretty solid coin and with what it seems to be an upcoming bull run, I would say that any solid and decent alt coin can be a good buy, they usually have bigger gains than top 20-30 coins. I personally don't invest in it because I have already bought a few alt coins with my money but if they are about to start community testing and it works out it will see big gains.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum. Will we see stronger Bulls in May? on: April 27, 2018, 01:48:00 PM
I personally think ethereum is better than bitcoin and will have a higher marketcap soon enough. We already have a lot eth pairs, specially all the tokens. The only reason ethereum has been weaker is because of the regulations about ICO's. Once the market settles and regulations smooth out, ethereum will be the leader.

Technology and dev wise, Ethereum is miles ahead of Bitcoin specially with Vitalk at the helm. But the problem with Ethereum is that its another altcoin and will remain behind bitcoin. But in terms of the bulls, I speculate that's they have more as compare to bitcoin. However, it was offset by bitcoin with its investors having huge amount of money to throw around the market. With that said, I wouldn't be surprise if Ethereum price will dramatically grow in the next couple of months. We have seen this kind of phasing before, when Ethereum suddenly pumps to a new all-time-high in June and try to overtook bitcoin but the so called "Flippening" didn't happened.

On January the marketcap of ethereum peaked at 137b compared to bitcoin at 237b. It was more than half, now bitcoin has almost 3 times the marketcap of ethereum only because of the regulations. If nothing happened I think ethereum would have caught bitcoin or at least get very close. We are seeing ethereum recover strength lately. This last bull run was much better for ethereum than bitcoin.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I do? on: April 27, 2018, 01:44:28 PM
My token is now suffering a great loss. Is there any way to save it?
i believe every time the market fluctuates, the price of altcoins is always drop very quickly and we all lost our profit, but as long as we still keep our coins, we still have the chance to witness the rising market in no far future, depends on the altcoins you are holding, each of every one of them can have a high chance to rise in the future, as long as you have enough patient to hold for long term.

Usually the top 100-200 coins will follow bitcoin pretty closely when there is a big bull run or bear run, obscure altcoins on the top 300+ can be extremely random, specially because they have a really low volume, <100k dollars which means that anyone with a good amount of money even 5k can move the whole market up or down for that particular coin.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] INTENSE COIN - Blockchain backed decentralized VPN - Hybrid PoW on: April 27, 2018, 01:41:49 PM
Originally, the team said a GUI wallet would be released a few days after the fork.

It's been about a week, and their GUI wallet is still not finished.

You can not simply upgrade to the 2.0 GUI wallet, your old wallet file WILL NOT WORK.

You have to fuck with a bunch of files. This reflects poorly on the Dev team. They are not able to produce a working GUI wallet with compatible wallet files. Nor have they produce a simple tool for converting wallets.

the procedure is documented and you can come to discord anytime, people will help you.
codebase is just too different to make the wallet files compatible.

This is all after they allowed cryptonight ASICS to mine on their chain for over a week, they only hardforked after they got 51% attacked.

It wasn't a 51% attack.
We hardforked earlier to make the thief run dry. Of course this brought some confusion because it wasn't planned, but we believed it would be much more important to make the attack worthless, for the coin holders good and for the big project picture.

The INTENSE team reflects a lot of incompetence, and they do not stay true to their time-frames AT ALL.

sorry if we were ahead of our schedule with the release of the v4 fork, we will try to be more precise next time :-)
besides, you forgot to mention that we had to fight at least 3 attacks on the chain, which we promptly deflected, while doing or usual homework.

Don't feed the troll. He has a signature saying ''bitcoin cash!'' He can't be very smart if he believes bitcoin cash is a legit coin. I have been following intense coin since pretty much the beginning and the community and team have always been active. I just hope this year the market settles down a little bit and makes some room for alt coins to grow without depending so much on bitcoin.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ETH or in Neo at the current market situation? on: April 27, 2018, 01:38:13 PM
I am looking forward to invest 500€ either in Ethereum or Neo. I have a big stock of different cryptocoins (quite a few Ether and other Alts) and now my question is shall I stock up my Ethers or invest in Neo? Also with regard to future developments. Any reccomendations?

I have put money into both. There are a couple of reasons why I lean more toward Neo right now. For one thing, Etherium has already had its huge initial growth and I think Neo may still have big gains coming. Secondly, if you hold Neo, you gain Gas which is almost like gaining interest or a dividend. You can then reinvest that back into Neo to give you compounding interest.

There is no way to know if neo is going to have bigger gains compared to ethereum. Just because ETH has a bigger marketcap it doesn't mean NEO is ever going to get there. Ethereum is better, objectively speaking, than NEO. I would rather invest in something with low risk like ethereum and make less gains than NEO.
