341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you are looking for a chance to go at least 3x in 2 months on: April 20, 2018, 10:54:54 AM
You know which coin is going to do at least a 3x? Binance coin, it's only 12 dollars now compared to 24 in its ATH. Considering that the ATH was reached purely due to speculation and considering all the incredible news the binance exchanges has been releasing lately, I would say a 3x is very likely.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how to distinguish the good ico, ico scam on: April 20, 2018, 10:51:49 AM
Look at the team, look at their qualifications and what they do. Do they have a working product or at least a prototype or are they just promises and ideas? I personally think that a working product is the best indicator for a good ICO, otherwise you just have to trust their team to actually do it eventually. In this bear market is harder for ICO's to succeed which in a way is good thing because it will eventually get rid of shitty ICO's. Eventually...
343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When will the bull market start? on: April 20, 2018, 10:48:01 AM
The last time we dipped to 6k the market did bounce and got to almost 12k. This time we held the 6k level again and we are bouncing yet again. I personally wont consider it a bull market until we can break the 12k level convincingly. At that point I can definitely say it's a bull market again. Weekly charts, we are entering a tightening pattern and it will break in the next few weeks, if it breaks bullish I would say that's a strong indicator.
344  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to become a trader? on: April 20, 2018, 10:45:36 AM
How to be a trader:
1. Buy some btc, via sites like Coinbase[1], Gemini[2], etc depending on your country
2. Send over the BTC to exchanges like Binance[3] and Bitfinex[4]
3. Pick your trading pair(BTC/ETH, BTC/SC, BTC/COSS, etc etc)
4. Trade

Now the actual hard part is how to be a good trader. How do you learn the basics? Read. Hit up Google. There are lots of good free information out there.

No. That's not what he needs. OP you need to learn technical analysis. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/t/technicalanalysis.asp

Yes, you do need to remove your emotions as much as possible and make trades based only on your own strategy. There are plenty of good youtube channels about it. I personally follow this one the most: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnqZ2hx679DqRi6khRUNw2g  Very insightful technical analysis.

Obviously as an investor you understand there are risks but out of all the exchanges out there, i can think of 2-3 that I would personally trust with my money and in my case we are only talking about thousands, imagine a big player with millions using etherdelta or some other retarded exchange, no way that will ever happen. Even big exchanges like bittrex, not long ago, they fucked up and made everyone wait months and months to get your account enabled or verified. Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.
I feel your point, but no big investor who is really sane enough will want to leave their funds directly on an exchange anyway if they are serious about investing. Nevertheless, I am sure as the market keeps growing, a lot of things would have changed anyway and since we are beginning to see a lot of exchanges trying to readjust to policies and being regulated, this may also be changing the mindset of the bigger players.

And no big investor would want to hold their coins in their wallet when the price can swing 20% in a day. Any big trader would need to hold his coins in an exchange, otherwise it's impossible to trade. At the end of the day what we really need is normal people to use cryptocurrencies and adoption.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: New Bull Run? Market Cap rises +3,4% daily (+8,5B/Day) for 12 consecutive days!! on: April 20, 2018, 09:11:53 AM
The bulls are here to stay. Leading the pack is Ethereum which has already gained 42% from a few weeks ago! And its projected to rise even higher back up to $1000+. I've been telling everyone to buy Ethereum during the dip and those who have listened have been rewarded.

Congratulations to all holders! Just keep hodling and we will soon reach new all time highs!

We can't blame them for what they did during the dip that they sell some of their coins. For those who have been holding and never fall with the trap then this is the time to claim their rewards. We should stay positive and support crypto so that we can gain more profits in the long run.

Holding your coins during a major bear trend is stupid. Why would you hold when you can cut losses. Holding is only great if you want to lose 50% of your portfolio in a few weeks.

I'm afraid to tune in to positive, but the trend is encouraging. Let's see what happens next.

Meh, what trend? We are still far away on changing the trend. Last time it went from 6k to 12k and we dipped again, we will not change the trend until we break 12k convincingly.
347  Economy / Economics / Re: James Rickards: Trump Will Use the “Nuclear Option” on Trade on: April 19, 2018, 11:10:23 PM
Everyone knows that China steals intellectual property, various technical innovations or simply copies at its own discretion various techniques. It is on this that China has recently risen in the development of its economy. Perhaps, a tough trade war between the US and China will still happen, Trump can take appropriate appropriate measures in this respect. And how will this affect the crypto currency? Then it is not profitable for China to issue its centralized crypto currency, it will be convenient for the country to hide behind the usual decentralized if the US introduces various trade sanctions.
china is a country with a strong economy, crypto become part of big investors that have been in use china,
crypto will decrease if this country got problem

I think we are past that point. The market doesn't care that much about specific countries, look at india ban or poland insane regulations, it didn't really drag the price down. We have had so much FUD from china since bitcoin started trading that at this point people just do not care.
348  Economy / Economics / Re: David Stockman: Deflation Depression & Financial Armageddon on: April 19, 2018, 11:08:26 PM
Gold and silver have been the safe haven of people who think that the financial markets are going to a downturn. The ability of these precious metals to carry value despite having everything around them being burned is really fascinating, which makes them clear winners on investors' picks. Then came along bitcoin, who also has a tendency to hold value and could potentially net any investors some profit if held for a long time. As was said before in similar articles, the Dow is not performing well while the bond markets are nothing short of a mess right now. If the pressure keeps on going, it will soon crash and the only sensible thing to hold are precious metals and bitcoin (perhaps).

I just don't see big fish coming to bitcoin in case of a crash. Way too volatile for them, isn't it? I mean look at the % movements of gold vs bitcoin, it's not even close. I don't think anyone would like to see his 100m go to 40m in a few days.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Announces Fiat-to-Crypto Trading Pairs in a Move That Could Shift Relian on: April 19, 2018, 11:05:46 PM
Great news for the market as a whole and hopefully more exchanges do the same. Everyone is eager to split from bitcoin, no one likes a market where everything goes down or up at the same time no matter what. I don't think they will have fiat pairs for every coin but 10-15 with the highest volume.
350  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: April 19, 2018, 09:22:59 PM
Of course, investing in crypto-currencies is a risk, and big players understand this. But also you can earn a lot. I think you exaggerate the problems with exchanges, since it does not prevent anyone from earning millions of dollars with the help of crypto currency.

Exaggeration? I don't think so. Mt-gox was the biggest and most trusted exchange and what happened? Hundreds of thousands of bitcoins lost. Many other famous exchanges eventually turned out to be scams or got ''hacked''. If you are a solo investor and you see that, how confident can you really be in any exchange when you have literally 0 guarantees? Sure binance looks solid but is it really?

This confirms to me that we are most likely starting a recovery. There will of course be drops and corrections in a recovery, but I believe that most cryptocurrencies already bottomed out and we won’t see new lows for any of the top coins. I’m no expert and I could be wrong but that’s the way it appears and I expect a slower steady rise from here.

Don't be so quick. We need much more to say we are out of the bear market or that we entered a bull run. Sure we held the last low of 6k but this could easily just be another lower high on the weekly charts and dip further eventually. The regulations are still pending and they can change the market drastically. Until we break 12k I won't see this as a bull run. (talking in bitcoin price)
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XVG] Verge - Speculation & Discussion on: April 19, 2018, 09:16:27 PM
It has not been another coin that has fallen in price since it has made a partnership agreement before Cheesy It's a pretty ridiculous situation.
Prices have risen so fast, usually after the news of the partnership news, this is the exact opposite Cheesy

That's because the news were already priced in since their pre announcement plus early leak of pornhub. This is still pretty amazing although people hold a grudge against verge, pornhub accepting it as payment is huge. At the end of the day there are plenty of other shit coins that have no partnerships, no working product and still are top 100
What happened is only good that leaked announcement has already gain high price and there's too much hype with that until the time that they announce it starts selling the news and until this time xvg still was dumping. I know that many where disappointed on this partnership but at least they have used. Soon it will be used not only in pornsites.

Buy the rumors, sell the news. It's a classic saying in trading and it's usually true. I don't think real verge holders were disappointed, it's great news really and I don't even have verge but seeing all this hate for them made me interested. Probably a lot of people bought it with the idea to dump it before or right after the announcement was made public.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Wanchain a sound investment or over hyped? on: April 19, 2018, 09:14:12 PM
Wanchain is a very ambitious and potentially disruptive project, aiming to become a super financial market of the world. The project has some of the brightest minds in the business working behind it. Wanchain is solving a real world problem and has an immensely vital use case. I have complete confidence that Wanchain could easily be one of the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market cap by the end of 2018, and it would continue to grow even beyond that. Therefore, I believe holding Wancoins would be a great long-term investment.

What are you? Their marketing team? All the cryptocurrency projects brand themselves as disruptive and billion dollar market. While I agree that their team seems solid, cryptos are still pretty new and you really need to give them some time to prove themselves.
354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Wanchain a sound investment or over hyped? on: April 19, 2018, 10:17:42 AM

because he missed the ICO and x20 gain .  Tongue
it is not a shit coin .
but hype is too much so price is also high bcoz of that much hype .
you should wait for price to come down in satoshi and then buy this . it is good project .

x20 gain? When did that happen? It was an extremely overhyped coin and the fact that it is top 30 proves it, getting top 30 in this bear market is huge. Obviously it's not a shitcoin, it's definitely really good but still too early to know for sure.

i think you did not notice its ico .
at time of ico its price was around 0.3 USD ..
after ICO it directly listed on binance and bcoz of hype opened with x13 gain .

check here for other details - https://icodrops.com/wanchain/

Yeah I know they had an ICO I just didn't expect to be a x20 gain but seems like you are right. I can't imagine what would have been if they released the coin much earlier when the crypto boom happened. Anyways, that still proves my point that it was extremely overhyped, the window they have now for further gain is quite smaller and unless big news happen I don't think it will rise much higher.

356  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much do you earn in Twitter / Facebook Bounties ? on: April 18, 2018, 10:29:18 PM
I Have been checking a few but most people make is around 20-40$ per bounty which is not bad considering sometimes you only have to retweet their tweets, if you are dedicated it can be profitable in terms of $/hour

Porn is just filmed prostitution.  Most people are not going to want to have anything to do with that.

Check out www.singlesanonymous.org  There are more lonely singles today than any other time.

Give me a break, you guys are so extremely biased against verge for some reason, 2 years ago a pornhub accepting a cryptocurrency would have been huge news affecting the whole market. 75% or more men watch porn, it's one of the biggest industries out there, most people here don't give a fuck, don't be stupid.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: April 18, 2018, 10:09:25 PM
I believe that without regulation it is better. Since the authorities will want to limit or even prohibit the free sale of cryptocurrencies and also take our money through taxation.

''also take our money through taxation.'' Well, you have to pay taxes, that's how it works, if no one paid any tax for anything the system would collapse. People here seem to think that taxes are a theft. Sure sometimes they go overboard with them like in poland with the recent tax regulation for trading cryptos but overall it's needed.
360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: April 17, 2018, 10:57:41 PM
Both, I always research new coins to invest long term, in the meantime I'm always trading, usually with the big three (btc, eth, ltc). Take in mind that short term investments in cryptos require a good amount of knowledge about them, you have to dedicate a lot of time and always be updated on news, you would also need to learn some technical analysis which is hard for most people and that's why they prefer long term where you don't have to worry about price swings so much.
