821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 14, 2015, 07:38:03 AM
This whole thing is sort of sad really. At the end of the day, I would still trade with QS and would even have no issues sending first. He did a good job busting scams etc... I just do not get why he did the self escrow stuff  Undecided. While the self escrow thing was shady - not really sure it was a "scam" - more in the grey area.

What about the 'fake' 3 days ban from the forum? Only an opinion and obviously you are free to don't reply to my question.

I do not get the fake ban, but did it really affect anything? Maybe he thought a couple day break would clear his thoughts, and slow down the pitchforks? I think the only thing he did bad was the self-escrow thing.
I think he said at some point in this thread that he took the fake ban in order to allow his alt, panthers52, to attempt to respond to tsp as if there were other people who supported qs.

So more lies... so far quickseller has always denied that he had alt accounts or when they are exposed he always denies it first, if he just told everyone that those are his alt accounts no one will say anything, but he always denies it which makes him look suspicious
822  Other / Meta / Re: QS joins Tradefortress in the realm of the completely discredted, Wardrick next? on: September 13, 2015, 08:34:22 PM
I don't think Wardrick is a scammer, but he does have bad judgement and shouldn't be on default trust.

His judgement right now seems just to copy quickseller ratings without really giving an argument or any other valuable information, you are right, he shouldnt be on default.
823  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vod is attempting to create unjust liabilities for me that was not consented to on: September 13, 2015, 11:23:12 AM
Quickseller performed escrow services. There are no complaints with QS's escrow services.

There's nothing mischevious or strange about self escrow. Do you complain if you sell something on eBay, and the eBay CEO buys it? What about if you order something from Amazon... that is fulfilled by Amazon? What if you order something on Amazon that's fulfilled by another company, but is actually a subsidary of Amazon?

There's no issue. Some people (like Vod) are trying to defame people for doing perfectly fine and normal things.

Yeah dude, we should totally consider your opinion, meanwhile 99% of people here seem to agree that self escrowing is not something you should do, or is not something good, i don´t see anyone giving quickseller positive trust because he did self escrow, have you?
824  Other / Off-topic / Re: how would the world be if people did not need to work ? on: September 13, 2015, 11:19:07 AM
If i ever become a president of a country, i would invest in only 3 things, Medicine, investigation and education. Investigation so in the future robots can do all the work, medicine so we can live longer and better and education so we can talk to each other. I dont think there is anything more important than that.
825  Other / Off-topic / Re: i am a pedo? on: September 13, 2015, 11:17:05 AM
do you think it is OK to have a 16 years old girlfriend with the age of 22?
 Huh Roll Eyes

At your age, the difference is a bit much, but you're definitely not a pedophile.  Pedophiles like pre-pubescent children.

Maybe the difference is somewhat high but we gotta take in count that the girl is 16 which is pretty close to 18 and lets be honest, from 16 to 18 there is not much change mentally, and phyisically girls at 16 are already mature enough.
826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about different investment other than Ponzi schemes. on: September 13, 2015, 10:50:15 AM
I think Invest only in established altcoin that have a trusted dev team. A few tips might be the ones in my signature.

But established altcoins are too stable now, they dont jump in price, investing in them won´t bring you a lot of money and it´s not sure that they will stay at the same price, maybe investing in some other altcoins that are not so stable might be a good idea too.
827  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: September 13, 2015, 10:48:46 AM
I have never seen any good use really come from dogecoin myself either. It seems to be no different than Bitcoin other than perhaps mining is easier. Still, there are better altcoins to mine.

Dogecoin is perfect for speculation and arbitrage (buy here, sell there), though quite harsh on the cardiovascular system

But you could say the same about any other altcoin, even bitcoins. As i said, sometimes it´s just quite random with cryptos, they are not really sustained by real life things so their price is not fixed to anything
828  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 13, 2015, 10:47:32 AM
Has Quickseller provided a list of those he has escrow scammed?  I haven't seen one.

He claims he will refund anyone he scammed if they ask for a refund.   How are they supposed to know?

Please state where did he say that?
We should quote this for reference.
Even if he said something like that, we will not be able to know how many people have been scammed.
Let's say I used his escrow service.
How should I know if my customer was actually him? There might be tens of QS alts out there, nobody knows.

But HE knows so if he really wanted to do it, he would, at this point i don´t trust a word QS says and no one should.
829  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: September 12, 2015, 06:45:29 PM
there is an awful lot of FUD out there. Bitcoin will not go to die until a better technology comes out or a fatal vulnerability is discovered.

There is already a better technology out, yet it still hasnt died. It has a charm by being the first crypto. People wont abandon it so easily, it's like your firstborn child. Would you abandon it for another child?

what is this better technology? don't tell me ethereum or maidsafe, they are akin to a rehash of an old attempt to a decentralized internet, called freenet

I dont think those coins are really promising.

Monero has a great innovation in terms of anonymity.

Bytecoin has better security and faster and more efficient network than bitcoin in all terms.

NXT, BURST, NEM, HZ, COUNTERPARTY has a whole economy, stock market, marketplace & more integrated in a decentralized fashion.

You really want to believe all that crap? And that altcoins prices are based on innovation or utility? Lets be honest here, any altcoin can become huge for no reason in a short time, what is so innovative or good about dogecoin? Nothing, yet is always at the top of altcoins.

You touch here on a very interesting topic. That is, if there is nothing dramatically innovative (or extraordinary good) about Dogecoin, then why is it always at the top? The answer is rather straightforward, it is fast, it is simple, and it is cheap both transaction and price wise...

In short, it is pretty damn usable

Usable on what, do people buy food or things with dogecoins? Maybe a few people here and there but the majority of people that have dogecoins right now dont.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: September 12, 2015, 05:39:33 PM
Everyone who has been a part of any gambling site must have tried martingale. so i just wanted to know your experience that have u ever gained profit from martingale? or its name should be changed to martinfail?

i use martingale on dice especially on autobet but its not that effective in the long run, i always end up losing so i decided to stop it. so martingale doesn't work (based on my own experience)
Matingale really doesn't work for players with small bank roll.I ended up at loss just like you when when I tried to use martingale. It works in favor of house when you keep using it.When you use martingale and keep playing it gives the idea to house about your playing strategy and after few winning stakes begin to appear just loosing stakes in a row.

Martingale doesn't work in the long run, not because the site will learn about your playing style, but because a long enough loss strategy is just bound to happen in the long run no matter how unlikely the chance it is.
As an example, if you play x2 bets in a 1% house edge site, the chance for you to hit a "10 red streak" in the first 10 bets is 0.10787% but the chance to hit a "10 red streak" in 10000 bets is 99.53229%.

If you are playing on 1% the chance to hit 10 red streaks will always be the same, that 99% is imaginary, that would mean that in 20000 bets i have more than 100% chance to hit the 10 red streak and that is simply not true.

832  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 12, 2015, 05:34:25 PM
"Find a niche that has low competition, and that people are demanding, and do it."

These are the gospels of the wealty. Do it and you will be rich too.

Well said, that's true I have seen people are offering this service and sometimes they also setup and the website for you. You just need to start spreading and get traffic to get richer.

Here is another secret.

In bitcoin, the gambling sector is the most demanded/of highest demand.

Unfortunately the competition of bitcoin gambling sites/casinos, is ultra tight.

Thus there is still profit to be made if you open a casino, but it will be somewhat restricted. If you were to open SatoshiDice back a few years ago, then by now you would be a multi-millionaire.

You can still succeed if you make an innovative casino, but the competition is tight and it will probably cost you to make an original website layout, not a copycat gambling script....

Who cares about the casino layout anyways? Poeple care way more about speed and how reliable and secure the website is, there are plenty of new dice sites that make money because addicts will always find new casinos because they think the others are rigged because they lost, unfortunately casinos only work because of gambling addicts but i agree that is a good way to become rich or at least pretty wealthy
833  Other / Meta / Re: Did Redsn0w sell his account after falling in Yellow Snow? on: September 12, 2015, 05:32:40 PM
A neutral feedback isn't necessary, if you want you can simple ask BadBear or theymos and I'm sure they will say "he is the same redsn0w" Wink.

I dont think admins will do anything to resolve this. Maybe its neutral because you did answer the above question (last time we talked) correctly? I personally think many people here need a break, just dont bother for a week. Its very relaxing.

Yes of course, I did reply correct because I'm the same person and again 'yes' a lot of people should take a break.

wardrick seems to be like quickseller´s dog recently and following him blindly, if redsnow hasnt had a password change i dont see how anyone would think that he sold his account.
834  Other / Meta / Re: QS joins Tradefortress in the realm of the completely discredted, Wardrick next? on: September 12, 2015, 05:30:08 PM
Personally I don't think tspacepilot should have a negative feedback for the old TF issue, a neutral may be more appropriate.

He stole money then lied and harassed people when he was asked about it. Personally I think that deserves negative trust. He still says he is innocent, he's a liar and manipulator who cannot be trusted.

Meanwhile regarding your predicament I'd suggest you to leave your negative trust unchanged and add a new neutral if you really need to add more information. Then you can freely remove your neutral and add a new one. Just don't touch the negative one again.

Great idea thank you! Problem solved.

Dude, you and quickseller are the only people that left him negative rating and think what he did was a fraud, you both are so dellusional its not even funny anymore.
835  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 09, 2015, 09:21:59 PM
This thread really proves that none can be trusted. Dint get still why QS has to lie about it and escrow his own deal using an alt. He lost all his reputation in seconds and on top he charged his escrow fee too? Is it all the facts he has been stating about an escrow ensures safety and people should trust it flushed out completely? I'm speechless.

It's better if he discards his thread in the Currency Exchange section. Makes no sense now "Trade with caution: Use Escrow".

And Tomatocage has done the same and he even left a good rating on his other alt account when the trade happened, he should get a negative trust rating aswell.

edit: i see he actually got a neg trust rating and wardrick decided to give him a positive trust rating, pretty suspicious.
836  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 09, 2015, 09:21:14 PM
There is no short cut to get rich, you have to work hard in the field in which you are the best. Set some goals for your self, set some realistic target and work hard accordingly to achieve these targets. Maybe after some year if you are consistently achieving your goals and target then believe me one day you can be rich. Also keep in mind that you should be work hard on correct direction only, if you are working hard on wrong path then its of no use.

It depends, some people had luck and they got rich with little or no effort at all, rich is a wide term anyways, by rich one can think of being rich in the way that you are not worried about money not necesserally millions.
837  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 09, 2015, 07:05:59 AM
lol no I just do it for the cost of the Tx.

In other words the seller pays for it?

Hey man... I'm all for making moves and bending shit, but god damn that seems shitty.

Esp when you spend as much time busting peoples nuts as you used to until QS came along.
It does not matter who pays for the escrow. A financially rational person will care about how much money leaves their wallet (or how much money goes into their wallet). They will not care that a portion of the money from/to the other party goes to an escrow service.

so isnt it like buying positive feedback and/or stealing extra bucks from the person who used you as escrow and trusted you with their money thinking you are a "third party"?
No. If I am buying a widget from you it does not matter if you are selling it for $101 and you cover the escrow fee, or if you are selling it for $100, but I cover the escrow fee. Either way you receive the same $100.

Furthermore, you are additional comfortable with the transaction because you know the escrow is going to stake their reputation on the outcome being fair, so even if they are biased in any dispute, an unfair resolution to an escrowed deal means that their reputation will suffer.

Come on now, you could just have used your main account from the start to do the transaction instead of using an alt account and then this one for escrowing, i dont see the point other than trying to make your other accout more trusted
838  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about different investment other than Ponzi schemes. on: September 08, 2015, 08:00:52 PM
Campaigns are good but dont focus on that only, it´s hard to post constructive comments everyday with a high rate, i have never posted more than 10 posts a day because its honestly hard and i dont have that much free time, buying an account is not a bad idea but you should try to post a little every few hours to avoid useless posts. You could also invest in casinos or maybe tipsters, its risky but the rewards come faster.
839  Economy / Gambling / Re: « easyFlip » - « Bitcoin Coin Flip » - « No Registration » - « Practice Play » on: September 08, 2015, 07:56:59 PM
I dont play dice anymore but what does this have that other dice sites dont? I mean you are obviously new and your site doesnt have reputation so why would someone want to use it instead of other well established dice sites that pretty much have the same thing plus other features that you dont? Are you planning on making new things to the site or any giveaways? Provably fair?
840  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: price difference on various marketplaces - beginners question on: September 08, 2015, 07:55:14 PM
I always wondered if someone could make profit from the different prices on different markets, im not sure if the price in LTC/BTC ratio change that much between exchanges because you could really make profit from it with large amounts of money, right?
