Jeeze, dude. Alright, I should've done my research first before making other people do it for me. I'll be sure to do so next time, and I apologize. I still can't find anything saying he spent money installing cameras around public places, but you did point out the drones thing (I had forgotten about that,) which is pretty much the same thing, only a hundred times worse. Anyways, I'm not an Obama supporter. I'll defend anyone being accused of something that I don't think is true (I know. I thought wrong this time.) Thanks for enlightening me.

It seemed to be different from anything ive seen on the internet. For me its something revolutionary in the very first steps but i dont think its the final bitcoin, what i mean its limited to 21 million what is really a small cap, there must be a split or a v2.0 bitcoin to make it masscompatible. However, i think the model to create a valueable exchange good from cpu power is great.
21 million is plenty. Here's a quote from the Myths page on the bitcoin wiki. The myth is "21 million coins isn't enough; doesn't scale" One Bitcoin is divisible down to eight decimal places. There are really 2,099,999,997,690,000 (just over 2 quadrillion) maximum possible atomic units in the bitcoin design.
The value of "1 BTC" represents 100,000,000 of these. In other words, each is divisible by up to 10^8. As the value of the unit of 1 BTC grows too large to be useful for day to day transactions, people can start dealing in smaller units, such as milli-bitcoins (mBTC) or micro-bitcoins (μBTC).

Who will win? How will it affect the value of the currency? how will it affect the freedom of the internet? Remember Obama almost let SOPA happen
yes, obama liked sopa, pipa, and cispa. he also continued the ndaa and patriot act. and if you look at the people in congress you will notice that MOST of the ones who supported sopa and the others are the democrats. Could you provide a source that confirms that Obama liked sopa, pipa, and cispa? I read that he issued a veto threat, but not much else, so I assumed he was against them. Obama is down with surveillance. He likes the idea of Big Brother watching everything you do, at least in public. Go walk around any major US city and count how many cameras there are, watching you. We even have cameras that watch cameras, in case the first camera is vandalized. Talk about a waste of federal budget? You didn't really provide a source that confirms what you stated. And even if you did, I was asking specifically for a source that confirmed that he liked sopa, pipa, and cispa. Also, I haven't noticed any significant changes in the number of cameras in my city since he's been elected. Now I'm kind of interested, though. Mind including a source that says Obama spent any money increasing the number of cameras in public areas, too? I'm not saying you guys are wrong. As I said, I haven't read very much about any of this stuff. However, from what I HAVE read, your claims don't seem to sound true to me. I'm honestly asking for sources here. I'm not trying to mock you or something. If there is something I am missing, please provide me with the reading material!

As much as I'd love to join in on the apple debate, I think I'm going to use this post to say that we should actually help theboss with his MTGox problem. theboss is out $5,000 because MTGox won't take the time to look at his ID. He probably isn't too interested in our opinions of apple right now.

That's a very nice picture you have there. Unfortunately, I don't care much for flowers, or picture quality. But, maybe someone else will.

My friends call this used cigarette smoking practice, "smoking refries." I've never seen someone use new papers, though. Usually they just pick up the butt, light it, and smoke it.

I like Armory because it's full of awesome features that most other clients don't have. However, I don't think most other people would use these features, so I'd recommend Electrum for the average user.

First of all, I'm no expert in peer to peer technology, so please correct me if any of this is misinformation. So I was hanging out in irc, and had been working on a MUD. I wasn't really too serious about this MUD, it was just something I was programming while I was bored. But then someone in irc, knowing I was working on a mud, asked me if I thought a peer-to-peer android mud was feasible. The idea is that everyone keeps there phone on, right? So if they aren't actually playing the mud, the app can still act as a node in the background, providing more support to the network. This would also mean that as long as there are two nodes on the network, the server would never go down (I think!) After some research (quick google,) I found this which explains how it might be done As I said at the beginning of this post, I don't know much about peer to peer technology, and I've only just begun with android development. So I'm turning to some people that actually know something about this stuff. Does any of this actually sound like it could work? Actually... Yeah. I think that could be doable. It would drain battery, (not to mention rack up data charges) working in the background, but it could definitely work. Thanks for responding, myrkul, I am now attempting this.

2 BTC in your wallet if you can complete the gallon challenge. Milk chugging, or gallon challenge, is the process of consuming a large amount of milk within a set period of time. Although there are variations in procedure, many adherents follow to the mostly general parameters; a person is given 60 minutes to drink a full gallon (3.79L) of whole milk without vomiting. *Includes cost of milk* Don't you need to pay Mushroomized? I do believe you owe him some money. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=94734.20

For what it's worth, I can say that I honestly believe Mushroomized is telling the truth, and not just some scammer looking for money. I've been working with him for a long time, and have found him to be very trustworthy. I remember when he told me about the job he got with this guy. From what I can remember, R- was very demanding, and always found something wrong with Mushroomized's work, and repeatedly insisted that it be redone. Mushroomized worked very hard to meet R-'s demands, and I would hate to see all his work go for only 4 BTC.
