I've been watching this project for a long time. I was very excited to see that there were downloads available a few days ago. Of course I had compiling problems. Sad

My problem is you not getting to work on bitdrop, pm me your irc nick if it's different from your forum one, and then let me know when your online. We've got to get this done, we've got a whole world to change you know.
Did you get my pm's about the mailing list? I already started the django project like you asked, but I'm afraid I must be missing information since I can't join the mailing list.

Mr. Anderson, I have gotten one guy who will maintain my website for free.

The favicon has been designed by steinbitglis.

BTW, steinbitglis has one job for you guys. If you are interested, please visit http://workforbitcoin.com/
Ok, thanks anyway. This is a great site, and I'm hoping it will get very big!

I'll give you a few days before I announce you as a scammer.
725  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Work for bitcoin! on: May 25, 2011, 08:43:59 PM
Still need a website maintainer?
726  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Bitcoin per signup on: May 25, 2011, 06:26:02 AM
Damn. This is the second time I've gotten scammed in a week.

Wavering back and forth between Ƀ and β, but either way, I really like bitboy's graphics. So heres bitboy's logo with Ƀ:

Maybe he will eventually become active on the forums once again, and remake it better than I can.

A few more options? ( http://carbonism.deviantart.com/ )

Awesome! Could you make them say "In cryptography we trust" instead  of "In bitcoin we trust?"

"Don't be kicking yourself in the pants..." made me laugh. Good work. Smiley

I've been feeling the β lately, so here's my mediocre take on the logo:

Obviously based on bitboy's work.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ƀ Another Bitcoin identity on: May 24, 2011, 05:11:55 PM
This proposed color scheme is more professional and bank-like.
Ok, professional's good. But bank-like? I don't want that either.

If we want Bitcoin to succeed, don't you think that the air of legitimacy a "bank like" currency symbol gives us is an asset?  If not bank-like, what kind of feel would you want it to have?
Bitcoin-like! Cheesy What does that mean? I don't know, but it's definitely the way to go! Realistically, bank-like may be the best way. I guess I just have a negative association with banks. Just the word "bank" makes me feel bad.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ƀ Another Bitcoin identity on: May 24, 2011, 04:03:45 PM
i like golden yellow better :p
I am personally not so fond of the current gold color, in my book it associates with casinos, get-rich-quick schemes and other scammy avenues.
Exactly! I hate that!

Fixed. Thanks!
736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official Bitcoin Unicode Character? on: May 24, 2011, 06:16:46 AM
Every week I'm torn between 2 different symbols. This week it's β and Ƀ (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=9562.0) Right now, I'm leaning towards β because of how easy it is to right, and how it just kind of naturally looks like a currency symbol.

I've signed everyones key here, by the way (Except I'm waiting for a reply from pgp-verify@bluematt.me.)

EDIT: Signed Matt's key.
