That means nuttin. Which manufacturer? Mind to share the disk sector size and count, too? And did you already patch and configure the firmware? Nothing too exciting. It was a WD My Book Duo with two 14 TB reds. They were immediately whipped out and rammed into me NAS. It's now being refilled with my real time rail journey videos. I tend to point the camera towards the carpet as the changing light and the sound of the train, plus passenger coughing, lulls me to sleep. Neat hack there. 2 WD Reds for pretty much the price of a single!

20 days 15 hours Bring it on! I wonder how do the miners take the halving? Of course I will not like my reward to get half 😜 The funny thing about miners is that most of them decided to become miners and not Bitcoin investors, because investing in machines looks more stable. They think in terms of current profit and calculate that in 3 years the expenses will be covered and the big profit will start to pour into their bank accounts. This is a huge mistake. The reality is that the current machines will become completely obsolete in 2-3 years and if there is any profit at all, it will be insignificant compared to the direct investment in Bitcoin. Because of the new technology, the halving, and the rising number of miners with free or very cheap electricity (which results in rising of the difficulty), the profits will decline quckly. And this of course delays the ROI date further and further away. Buying of mining equipment makes sense to me only if you have free elecricity or you use it for heating purposes (which I do with my GPU rigs). If I was more informed back then and invested in Bitcoin around the prices $400, my profit at the current prices would have been still 10 times bigger than the profit of my rigs. And I was lucky to reach the ROI and get some profit. My friends ignored my advice and bought gpu rigs instead of investing in Bitcoin. They practically lost most of their investment with an insignificant return. Theoretically they can sell their gpus, but the prices of the new models with the same parameters is half of what they paid. So the comforting thought about selling equipment is not working either. At some point miners are only going to get so efficient - that'll be the great leveller. Once that happens, I might get back into mining.

It's just a false correctness. Strictly people are dying from heart failure, all sorts of multi-organ failures etc. Viruses just replicate.
So there’s a chance the numbers being reported by the UK Gov on COVID19 deaths are inflated by non COVID19 deaths? Do you think elderly people (I think past the age of 80 don’t require postmortems) who die in hospital of pneumonia or flu type symptoms are being recorded as COVID19 to inflate numbers & maintain a level of fear amongst the general public to ensure lockdown rules are followed? There's a 0.1% chance of that. It's 99.9% likely the covid death numbers have been systematically under-reported unintentionally or negligently. The fear is just a handy byproduct and much exaggerated by people's words, but not by these stats. There's the 'Died of something else, but had covid at the time of death' and there's the 'missing of some deaths due to covid (or at least accelerated by covid) in the old folks homes'. Maybe they balance out? Maybe one's larger than the other? Either way I doubt the discrepancy is huge.

Well, I just got doxxed pretty big time by a BSVtard on Twitter with zero followers.
I made one small slip up and it cost me.
No point in trying to deny it now. Even if I get this guy's so-far 8 alt accounts banned for whatever, he'll still be back for more, so I might as well own up to it. I have a few theories about who was waiting for me to falter.
Not giving the forum up. Probably just doubling down on researching scammers.
More news to come as it breaks.
Not sure if this is your Twitter mate but if it is; you've been hacked and are now posting pro-BSV shit. If iy's not you then someone is trying to be you https://twitter.com/nutildah/with_repliesOh wow!

Losing any BTC is uncomfortable, but there is also some value in attempting to support the bitcoin ecosystem, and even attempting to take advantage of both the volatility and the price finding functions and interacting and learning from the various bitcoin related systems out there, whether it be something like Bisq, lightning network or some of the variety of exchanges. There are also wallets and payment vehicles that can be vulnerable too, but can also be good to attempt to support some of those various ecosystem contributions... even while realizing that there are BIG MEANIE people out there who are engaged in various creative or even possible brute force ways to attempt to separate you from your bitcoins.
I've put 1 BTC into a lightning node to help support it in my small way. I'm prepared to lose it if it goes tits-up. I don't want to be too snoopy about your particulars, P_Shep, but from what I had read, even a few years ago, it was very difficult to put very much bitcoin into lightning network, and there were also limits regarding how many satoshis could be contained in each channel. So currently, how do you achieve 1 bitcoin? Multiple channels? Can you provide some kind of basic description regarding whether the 1 bitcoin is all in one place or is it spread across channels, and maybe even how cumbersome it might be to pull it out... several transactions or one transaction? Excuse me for NOT being very technical or even have had experimented with lightning network.. I am kind of waiting for it to become super easy in terms of my adding of my own personal activities in that direction. Exactly, multiple channels. Whole point is to provide liquidity for others, so you get a little bit of the transaction fee as it passes through your node. Think the max is 0.15BTC per channel. I currently have just 28. Actually should open some more as some have closed (and so returning the pushed amount). Been trying to get it working with TOR, but not having much luck. As far as I can tell everything is setup right, but can't open onion channels. And yeah, pretty cumbersome right now. Using Eclair which has a GUI, but still barely does anything other than show the complete channel list of the whole network and details on your own channels. In order to do anything useful, you have to use the API, and I'm not sure there are any tools for doing that yet, but haven't checked in a while. Was thinking of writing my own in Python... Something to do if I get put on furlough

Remember to shave your beard off so your mask fits nice and tight. Niiiiice, started to enjoy Asian girls since I’ve got into my 30’s. Never experienced one but she is fit That 's 3 more people she's denying face masks from! Disgusting behaviour! Also, I have. Also, I'm prepared to re-use any of those face masks. Y'know, emergency situation and all...
