I tried unsetting the path and after running cgminer it prints out the semwait error then exits. No difference when I run: service cgminer start. This is what I get when listing the usb devices:
root@DD-WRT:~# ls -l /dev/usb/tts/ total 0 crw------- 1 root root 188, 0 Jan 1 1970 0
Any ideas about what's wrong?
No idea at all. That's the set up I have. My RT-N16 is running Kong mod build 21395M and OTRW2. And tty won't list anything, the drivers aren't installed or used anymore. cgminer communicates directly with the device via libusb.

I have an Asus RT N16 with ddwrt and a 5GH/s BFL miner. I'm following the instructions posted at http://pastebin.com/hwgm3kEe and https://109.201.133.195/index.php?topic=76685.msg3911947When starting cgminer I get: root@DD-WRT:/opt# cgminer [2013-12-12 05:41:53] Started cgminer 3.8.5 [2013-12-12 05:41:53] Failed to sem_wait errno=89 cgsem=0x0x5061c8 in usbutils.c usb_resource_thread():3651 Not sure if I set up the usb libs properly, here is what I have root@DD-WRT:/opt/lib# ls | grep libusb libusb-0.1.so.4 libusb-0.1.so.4.4.4 libusb-1.0.so libusb-1.0.so.0 libusb-1.0.so.0.1.0 libusb.so root@DD-WRT:/opt/lib# ls -lR . | grep ^l lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Dec 12 05:55 libusb-0.1.so.4 -> libusb-0.1.so.4.4.4 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Dec 12 05:24 libusb-1.0.so -> libusb-1.0.so.0.1.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 Dec 12 04:31 libusb-1.0.so.0 -> libusb-1.0.so.0.1.0 Any ideas what could be the problem? Well that should work OK. You don't need to worry about libusb though, cgminer is statically compiled. To run straight from the cmd line, you may need to reset the library path: unset LD_LIBRARY_PATH unset LD_PRELOAD

Why is it cgminer tells me I hit a block, but EMC is saying I haven't?
|
|
|
Why is it that people put in huge buy orders when the price goes UP to a certain level. Happened at 900, and again just now at 1000, and I'm sure many times before. Why wait? Don't they end up paying more for their coins?

OK guys, I ran the calculations. I incorporated S curve adoption, trigonometric functions, a cold beer on a Friday night, a pair of jeans that fit just right, and something I pulled from my underwear while I was wearing them. This all results in a new exponential trendline, demonstrated below: Looks good, can't wait!

Yeah, seems 3.6.3 is the last one which works. It's the one I've left running since I haven't had any problems and needed to upgrade.

Yep, seems to be back up now. Thanks

Payouts have been pending and confirmed yet are nowhere to be seen on the blockchain. At first we were told it was a technical issue but now I suspect that the pool operator is using the funds to pay more urgent debts which means miners are providing him with a 0 interest loan without their knowledge. Given this has been going on for a few weeks and the payment delays are increasing in duration, I've left and I would warn others to be wary.
Just noticed that my pending payout has just disappeared. Had only a small amount there... 0.01 ish, but there's suddenly no sign it ever existed :/

Still showing red on the website. I haven't switch pools back yet though, so can't say if it's working now.
EDIT: An hour later, cgminer is still telling me the pool is dead.
