This graph is amazing. It shows that measuring #SARSCoV2 levels in municipal sewage almost perfectly predicts forthcoming #COVID19 cases with a full week's notice (R=0.994). It's one of several discoveries in this new study from @Yale: https://medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.05.19.20105999v1.full.pdf. C-19 is #InThePoop

Any volunteers? To examine the poop?
Well you know with the appropriate hole available to advance a rode it, a small examination could be undertaken, or a bigger if unresolved.

You sound very expert. Are you man enough for the job? https://twitter.com/_Jekanyika/status/1265381325017681925?s=20

fewer blocks, fewer coins

John has less coin than Jack.
John has less luck than Jack.

John has fewer coins than Jack.
John has fewer chances than Jack.

It's important, because um, well you know

Yippee! Oh that's a wonderful surprise. Your very nice pieces will more than double my nascent collection of items. So chuffed, thank a million.

El Dude, I pay for your meal at The Fat Duck & stay in the UK if we see even over $50,000 by the end of the year.
$87,000 will not happen until a good way into 2021 imo. I hope to be wrong though, of course.

Would love a fulsome report of what you two gourmands make of that place. Assuming they get off their fat duck arse and re-open for the new wealthy elite. I did a Bray weekend very long ago, pre-duck. Was delish but forgot the details because wine.
748  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 27, 2020, 10:10:57 AM
Teaching the controversy once again. Facebook vs the Fed CBDC is where the battle for new money is sheeple. Don't look over there at bitcoin and Twitter.

Fine for us, we accumulate more coin while posting memes about their fear.
749  Other / Meta / Re: Last of the V8s Merit Source Application on: May 27, 2020, 09:02:04 AM
@V8 MS application takes some time to approve which you already know, so for next weeks i suggest you to keep updating your application on regular basis with new additional good posts and it would be nice if you mention > this post deserve this amount of merit< once you reach your desired merit quota for particular post then replace it with the new ones and keep updating your history log in OP.

My support for your application.

Thank you very much, young Padawan. Gosh, crack the whip why don't you? lol. It is a very good idea, though, and I'll take you up on it. Please could you help me by pm'ing any good posts you see in your regular haunts? Not too many, as I'm still in straightened circumstances. And I'll revise the op regularly as my logged merit-waiting list.

Genius, you are. I remember when you were a mere stripling and would cheek me about my nation's wrongdoings - what fun we had - and now look at you, soon-to-be legendary member yourself.

As to numbers, though, one usually is enough for me to signal a good post. If and when I get source-ship (or sauceboat let's immediately rechristen it), then I will be able to lavish higher numbers on people rather than posts iyswim. edit: plus re-appraise if any posts are extra hot./edit

It'd be interesting to see what kind of posts received merit from you, i support your application.

Thank you for your support. Means a lot from you, a highly knowledgeable and helpful member. Please don't examine my past meriting too carefully, we're not always serious curiously in the WO, and there is unspoken agreement that jokes and memes are worthy. That's in part why it took me so long to avoid asking for this bit of responsibility, I am old and tired and had little time till now to seek out new life, new frontiers, to boldly go ...

Goldman has a call for institutional investors tomorrow at 10:30 about Gold ,Bitcoin and the inflation going forward... its only a matter of time before we have a new ATH in Bitcoin!
Grayscale bought up about a third of all mined Bitcoin in q1 2020... q2 will be better!
https://news.bitcoin.com/goldman-sachs-bitcoin-cryptocurrency/

Yay, institutional investors will save us!

Fuck off

Really lol! Institutional investment will push Bitcoin over 100k$ imho
Cheers 🍻

No it's bad enough that grossly obese fairy Barry Silbert sucks up all the coin, let alone instifuckingtutions. Let new blood come to us not old guzzlers. Price follows either way.

And no more bible talk pleeeeese.

Granted, buying and holding bitcoin is nuanced. It is easy to shoot yourself in the foot. It is easy to get scammed. It is possible to lose access to your bitcoin for good. Thus, a word of warning: educate yourself, and err on the side of caution.

Shitcoins are a dead end. Don’t go down this path. Nothing but pain and sorrow will await you there.

From https://dergigi.com/2020/04/27/dear-family-dear-friends/ which I found to be a tremendous introduction.

Gosh well thank you all so much for your support and for all the merits. Had an absolute jamboree today with them. I've already slid back a bit by meriting tons of WO posts, and I realise I will have to force myself to get out and about more.

Forgive me if I don't merit your posts in this thread, they are mostly very worthy, but it would seem tacky to merit them unless extra good.

Design for a CoinSwap Implementation for Massively Improving Bitcoin Privacy and Fungibility

[...] Imagine a future where a user Alice has bitcoins and wants to send them with maximal privacy, so she creates a special kind of transaction. For anyone looking at the blockchain her transaction appears completely normal with her coins seemingly going from address A to address B. But in reality her coins end up in address Z which is entirely unconnected to either A or B.
[...]

How come i get so confused about those github posts?  I was trying to figure out when the post was posted or if it was edited, and I cannot see that information.  Is there a way to see the dates of posts?  I am not a member on github.  Would I see that information if I were a member?

I looked too at first, but couldn't see. I just presumed our bitebits would be on the ball as ever with new stuff.

Anyway since then I've seen ... https://tftc.io/martys-bent/issue-745/ and https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-dev/2020-May/017898.html ...
... point to it being fresh meat.

Or that Trump fella?
Nah, Bitcoin is a sovereign too you see, and we the controllers of its inputs do not listen to legacy judges wobbling about expounding on matters and things.

YouTube has deleted every comment I ever made about the Wumao (五毛), an internet propaganda division of the Chinese Communist Party. Who at Google decided to censor American comments on American videos hosted in America by an American platform that is already banned in China?

Quote
This appears to be a new global policy on YouTube, not directed at me specifically.  Try saying anything negative about the 五毛, or even mentioning them at all.  Your comment will last about 30 seconds and get deleted without warning or notice, CCP-censor style.  To what end?

You know what we should do is commandeer that rocket that's going up and just bloody leave this poor planet.
