561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'll hold a presentation about Ripple (XRP) on: March 01, 2017, 08:26:25 PM
This will be perfect. thank you very much in advance.

Thanks for the input!

Since it will be a presentation to people who are not familiar with crypto, I could show the PRO and CON opinions about Ripple. In the end, it is up to everyone's own selves to decide to invest or not to invest. I can include viewpoints to consider and I will remain objective.

Since tomorrow is the presentation's day and I submitted the presentation already, I am closing this discussion.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I'll hold a presentation about Ripple (XRP) on: February 28, 2017, 09:02:43 PM
Long story in short, I will hold a presentation about Ripple (XRP) this week, Thursday. I was hired as a presenter to a conference and I prefer to keep my matters up to date. Topic was crypto anyway and I have just read some good article about XRP. So, I will hold this presentation. What should I include by all means? Do you wish me to show any special aspect of Ripple?
563  Bitcoin / Project Development / What's the most advanced symmetric encryption? on: February 26, 2017, 07:44:59 PM
Let us say I want to use a simple symmetric encryption in a board to send a message to someone. The other person and I own the same key, I assume no one has obtained it, but I do not want other people reading the board to be able to crack the encryption very soon. What is the most advanced encryption to do that?

I studied about DES, AES, Blowfish, Twofish, RC5, CAST5, IDEA. Any else which is worth to learn?
564  Other / Off-topic / Encryption in a different layer on: February 26, 2017, 07:37:28 PM
Does every crypto use an encryption in the application layer? I studied that we prefer to use encryption in the application layer because it is the more comfortable as well as the most secure. Is that true? Cannot a crypto exist that use encryption in a different layer (too)? I am discussing the OSI layers here.
565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have found a wallet with 40 BTC on: February 24, 2017, 10:02:33 PM
It depends on how you "found" the wallet. Could you please elaborate the details? You may do it in PM if you do not wish to disclose this information. I think, you should not spend the BTC yet. Also, maybe you could re-consider writing out the amount or not writing it because it is unrelevant now.
566  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Software for Trading on: February 24, 2017, 09:57:27 PM
Arbitary trading software generates nice profit once you can take your time to type the correct settings. Other than that I am using statistical software that helps me see clearly among the data. Remember, software saves you time, but you still will need to put effort into configuration.
567  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: February 24, 2017, 09:54:19 PM
Mine then trade what you mined Tongue That is true only if you have free energy, high budget and can buy your equipment cost-efficiently.

Mining is worth when you live in a region where you have free energy access and a large network of advanced equipment.

Trading is worth when you have alot of funds to invest and time and energy to put your effort into learning the methods.

Nothing comes free, but you can choose from more than one solution.
568  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BlockChan - Censorship Resistant Message Board on: February 24, 2017, 09:41:39 PM
Inspiring, it is. Thank you for contributing Us! This project could be a neat component of any blog. My question: Is it a good practice to combine components that use different blockchains in the same project? Or should I stick with components using the same blockchain?
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Everywhere? Not yet... on: February 24, 2017, 09:35:13 PM
Software. BTC will become a generally accepted currency in software (including video games) markets. As a matter of fact, it is happening now and I think that it will continue happening in the future too. I think it because BTC is a virtual currency and fits well to buy virtual products with it. When it comes to physical products, orders could get complicated. However, BTC's technology, blockchain, surely will thrive in every business area.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Unknown] Attack on the Network in Progress on: February 24, 2017, 09:24:54 PM
I find it interesting. I am interested in offensive security, but I have never met with such an attack before.

So, I wonder what uses does such an attack have?

What can the hacker achieve with this (technically, since we do not know his/her true motives anyway)?
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EMC] EmerCoin — Innovative blockchain services! ( PoW&PoS - SHA-256) on: February 24, 2017, 09:14:02 PM
What is your plan to restore your reputation from the spam? In networking profession, this platform has considerable solutions such as the SSH feature. I read the tutorial and it is excellent down to the details. I know the real potential of this platform, but what does technology worth if it does not get "credited" by users... How will you strike back to the spammers?
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Altcoin adaptor DeepWeb markets on: February 24, 2017, 09:09:31 PM
For an University research, I am seeking uncensored marketplaces where I can sell and buy things for altcoins. Let us do this: you may PM me the legit URLs you know and if you, too, are a seeker I can PM you the list of URLs I have received so far. In this way, we can help each other and we do not have to share questionable URLs in this board.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoin incoming transaction pending for more than 36 hours on: February 24, 2017, 08:52:14 PM
It could be normal. When I deposited some BTC into an exchange, I had to wait a whole night before arrival. Of course, 36 hours are MORE than a night (or two) so I understand if you are a bit worried. You could share the technical details and ask additional help HERE. In blind I can say technically, it is possible that your transaction is alright just this slow.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction Fees are SPIKING ! on: February 24, 2017, 08:47:00 PM
The fees will keep spiking. You could always exchange (to altcoin) and do your transaction in an alternative blockchain, though. As for BTC network, it will thrive. The real power of BTC is in the high volume transactions. It is nice that you could easily earn some satoshis where-ever you live, but technically the fee-increment is unavoidable. It will close some businesses and open others. Smart businesses will adapt.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: February 24, 2017, 08:36:49 PM
BTC's price will increase further. I think, by the end of the year it will reach $2000 or more. There could be small falls here and there, but overall I think BTC got a huge impulse now. However, BTC will not be used as a mainstream currency, I am sure of it. It will be a powerful alternative currency to fiat.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EMC] EmerCoin — Innovative blockchain services! ( PoW&PoS - SHA-256) on: February 19, 2017, 01:27:10 PM
You can find emercoin exchanges here: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/emercoin/#markets

I recommend the top 3 volume exchanges: btc38, livecoin and bittrex, btc38 is for Chinese, you can choose bittrex becuz bittrex is the most famous one.

Thank you! I have not trusted any exchange so far except one where I know the Staff, but I find EMC encouraging enough to force some trust into Bittrex. Not like not many has advised this exchange. By the way, who exactly are the developers of EMC in BCT? I am writing a degree job at Uni about blockchain innovations and EMC is one of the platforms I could include.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EMC] EmerCoin — Innovative blockchain services! ( PoW&PoS - SHA-256) on: February 19, 2017, 01:21:00 PM
I like the base idea of this altcoin the innovation it brings in networking. The only issue I have is I find no one selling this coin.

Where could I buy it easily and from a legit source?
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [EMC/LTC/ETH] Wish: Gambling script on: February 19, 2017, 01:19:47 PM
You may know that I am looking for a gambling method to spice things up. I am adding that if you are able to put your method into a working gambling script, I am paying more, actually 700 EMC (or an equal amount in LTC or ETH). I want the full source code + documentation and you must not sell it to anyone else.

As always:

We may use an escrow if you wish.

You may send your offers in PM, I can clear up any question under this thread!

I will take time to check your forum history so prepare not to receive a PM ASAP and I may close this thread when I found a very good method. I can determine quickly whether you actually were able to figure out your method or just want to sell someone else's product so PM only if you know what you are doing.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [EMC/LTC/ETH] Wish: Gambling method on: February 19, 2017, 01:13:00 PM
I want to maximize my fun in gambling and I feel bored with the regular methods already. I can pay 500 EMC (or an equal amount in LTC or ETH) for an excellent and exciting gambling method. I know that it is gambling and no thing is guaranteed but I can determine if your method makes no sense or a boring shit so I do not ask for much except having a logical background and unique base idea.

We may use an escrow if you wish.

580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [ETH] Wish: Unique Crypt on: February 19, 2017, 09:47:03 AM
I wish to have an application encrypted.

Encryption must be unique and you must take guarantee on it will not become detected within a month and the encryption must not break any functionality.

If it does, you will have to refund or re-encrypt the file with a new, FUD encryption within 24 hours.

I do not wish to abuse your encryption. I will use the stub for educational purpose. I am learning ethical hacking. You may check the md5 hash of the sub so you will be sure I do not use your "guarantee" to abuse the service. You are free to build in anti-VirusTotal functionality to protect the encryption, but you must not add any extra malicious functionality.

I will pay 2 ETH for a single crypt.

We may use an escrow if you wish.

You may send your offers in PM, I can clear up any question under this thread!

I will wait for a very good deal so prepare not to receive a PM ASAP and I have the means to check whether you understand what you are doing. So, have an offer only if you actually understand encryption!
